Della sighed and began explaining everything to Irish while Irish listened angrily
“So after pushing me down the stairs and drugging her boss just to notice her, she still didn’t feel any remorse, then she left the house not after hitting you!?, She laid her hands on you??” Irish asked angrily
“Hey hey no need to fight, it’s the past now, it happened three days ago” Della shook her head
“Wow, I’m not the type that forgets easily, I wish she shouldn’t come back cause if she does then I’ll show her what I’m really made off” Irish snorted
“Just calm down okay?” Della sighed but Irish scoffed
“So what did the doctor say, did he tell you any useful information?” She asked
“Yeah, he told me to just down any useful words that comes to my mind” Irish replied
“And have you done that?” Della asked
“Well no but…
“No buts, I’ll get you a scrap book and a pen” Della stood up and went out
Fee minutes later, Della came with a neat scrap book and pen, she handed it to Irish and sat on the bed next to her
“Start writing” she said
Irish sighed and took the pen, she thought for a while before jotting down some things she knows

“I only remember this three” she said
Della looked at them and smiled
“They might be three but they are helpful,keep it safe” she said
“Hmm” Irish nodded
Both Della and Irish chatted for some while before Della left, Irish sighed feeling bored again, she wants to go home but Jake told her not to leave
“He has gone to work right?” She shurgged and stood up then made to leave but paused when the door opened and two nurses entered with a table and a chair
Then what followed next was Jake, coming with his laptop,he placed the laptop on the table and looked at Irish
“Why are you out of bed, get back to bed, hurry” he urged
“But I’m fine” Irish pouted
“Irish don’t let me carry you with my hands, get back to bed now” he sighed
She scoffed and climbed the bed back again
“Why are you here?” She asked
Jake just stared at her and sat down, he plugged his laptop and looked back at her
“Working” he replied
“Working?, What happened to your office then, if you wanna work so bad, why not just go to your office” she scoffed again
Jake smirked, just as he was about to reply, the door opened and a nurse entered, handing him a cup of coffee
He took a harmless sip before looking back at her
“Nothing wrong with working and watching over you” he shurgged
“If you wanna watch over me why not take a day off then?” She asked, now lying on her stomach and swinging her legs up as she looked at him
“I’m a strong man, I can do both” he winked
“Indeed” she laughed
Jake looked at her face, he couldn’t help but smile too, seeing her talking this freely to him is making him feel so overwhelmed
“Irish, can I ask you for a favor?” He asked
“Sure go ahead” she replied
“When you’re fully recovered, can you come work for me as my secretary?” He asked
“Me?” She pointed herself
“Yes you… I know you’re babysitting Jenna, you can take her to school then come after wards, then you’ll close earlier than me that’s around 5:30pm to go be with her” he explained
“But I also wanna be the one picking her up from school and doing her laundry” Irish pouted
“You can do the laundry around 5pm, of you wish to pick her up from school then no problem” he smiled
“Kk, that calls for an extra salary” Irish chuckled happily
“Naughty” he shook his head and continued working
Irish looked at him, looking so serious and focused, she just smiled
“Jenna is really lucky to have such a hard-working man like you as her father” she smiled
Jake looked up at her and smiled a bit
“And she will be lucky if she has you a mother too” he blurted out
Irish gasped, she began coughing again
“Are you okay?” He asked standing up
“I’m fine” she replied slightly but Jake still called for someone to get her some water
The nurse came in with some water, the gave it to her and she began drinking immediately
“One at a time Jake” Jake muttered to himself.

Later that day**
“Nanny” Jenna screamed happily after coming back from school
“Be careful” Suzy pulled her back gently
“Let go, I wanna see my Nanny, she’s finally awake” Jenna screamed happily
“You’ll see her but your daddy said you eat, see how skinny you’re looking” Suzy replied
“Fine I’ll eat, where’s the food?” Jenna asked
When Suzy went to the kitchen to get some food for Jenna, Jenna escaped downstairs
Suzy sighed and packaged the food before running downstairs too, she met Jenna arguing with Peter to get into the car and she sighed
“Just let us go” she shouted from afar coming to them
“But boss said she must eat first” Peter crossed his arms
“She’s not going to eat if she doesn’t see her nanny so let’s go, I’ve packaged it for her” Suzy replied
Peter looked at Johnny and Johnny added
“Okay Jenna one condition?” He asked
“What?” She asked
“You’ll eat in the car” he said
“Deal” Jenna smiled.

Carlos Care Hospital**
Jenna happily pushed the door opened and ran in
“Nanny!!!!” She rushed to jump on Irish who’s playing games with her phone
Jake who’s working over from him sit looked up at them and sighed, he called for Suzy and she came
“Did she eat?” He asked
“Yes boss” Suzy replied and Jake nodded
Suzy bowed and looked at them, she smiled and closed the door behind her
“Baby, you’re looking so slim, what happened?” Irish asked checking Jenna’s body out
“Don’t worry nanny, I didn’t have appetite because you weren’t feeling well but now I think I’m fine” she replied with a smile
“I’m glad I’m fine too, I don’t like how light you’re feeling” she muttered and looked at Jake
“And you Mr Jake, how could you let it happen?” She asked
“I tried my best, she was worried sick about you” he rolled his eyes and narrowed it
“Also what did I tell you about calling me Mr Jake?” He asked
“Sorry Jake” she rolled her eyes
Jake chuckled, she’s back to the stubborn Irish
“Daddy you don’t have get jealous if you’re sick then I’ll do the same for you too” Jenna smiled, snuggling on Irish
Jake chuckled. “But I’m jealous, I want a cuddle too” he feigned hurtfulness
“I’m sorry dad, come take too” she called
Irish shook her head but Jake came to them, he sat on the bed and hugged then both
“This feels good” he sighed
“This feels weird” Irish muttered
After a while of cuddling and chatting, Jake went back to his desk work while Jenna sat with Irish, telling her stories that happened the past three days
“So when you you leave the hospital?” Jenna asked
Irish faced Jake and Jake sighed
“In three days time, you need full rest” he replied
Irish scoffed and faced Jenna again, while the both of them were smiling, he looked at them and smiled happily.
