Chapter 13
Isobel got up, wanting to run off but he pulled her back.
“Let go of me! Let me go!” She yelled at him as she tried to pull away.
“Listen to me! Just listen to me!”He yelled as he shaked her gently.
“Your here to take me to him right? You are working with Marco and you will take me to him to…..”
“Am not working with Marco. I don’t even know who he is and I won’t put your life in jeopardy”He said meaning his words.
“How can I trust you? How am I even sure that you aren’t one of them. You knew who I was but I don’t even know who you are!”She yelled at him..
“That’s because you forgot…..that’s because I was not that important in your life and that is why you’ve forgotten me. You erased me out of your memory when I still have you in mine.
I won’t let you leave like this. I am here to help and you will just have to accept my help”He said.
“What will you do to help me. Your in so much danger like me. Marco is a dangerous man and he will do his best to get rid of the people who help me”She said
“That won’t happen with me”Oliver replied.
“Why? Why are you so sure and what help can you offer me?”She asked.
“Marriage” he said softly.
“Marriage? This isn’t the time to joke and…..”
“Am not joking Isobel. When I say marriage. I mean that I want to marry you”He said and she stared at him with her mouth open wide
“You must be ¢razy? Marriage isn’t a child’s play”Isobel said
“I know and it’s the only solution I can think of. Marco is lusting after you because he has this mindset that you are a pure bride but once you marry me.
He will lose all interest and when we are sure that he isn’t after you. I will give you a divorce”He said.
“But that’s too much of a sacrifice for you to make and besides I don’t want to get married again. Not after what I went through with my previous fiance”She said.
“Ours won’t be a real thing. It’s a benefit between the both of us. I need to get married to you to be able to get out of my father’s hold while you need to get away from Marco.
It’s the best solution ever”Oliver said and Isobel thought about it for a while.
If she gets married to him. He will protect her and also keep away Marco. She has nothing to lose and it’s time that she stop hiding.
“Fine then. Let’s get married”She said softly.
“Let’s go then”Oliver said as he pulled her but she stopped him.
“Are we getting married now ?” Isobel asked still a bit shock by her decision.
“Of course not. I still have somethings to prepare to make it possible but i will be taking you to somewhere safe instead”He said as he turned her towards a hall way which had the sign private.
He led her towards a private jet and she stopped him again to stare at him.
“Where am I going?”She asked.
“Love Island. It’s an island I bought and everyone there works for me. The man in charge there will welcome you and treat you with utmost respect and…..”
“What about you?”She asked.
“I still have somethings to do here and when that is over. I will come over and we will get married”Oliver said
“I would be the only one there. Can’t I just stay with you”She asked
“Being on Love Island will get you more safe. I promise to come to you”He said as the air hostess came to take her bag.
“I will be waiting for you”She said as she walked into the private jet with the hostess.
Oliver got back home and while he was getting out of his car he saw his father walking out a man. Someone he has never seen before.
He got out of the car walking towards the man and his father.
“Your back son”Ben said and he nodded before turning towards him.
“And who he? I don’t think I have seen this face before?”Oliver said.
“He is…..”
“I am Marco. Marco Hildalgo”He said introducing himself to Oliver.
