Kingsley walk into the hospital and the nurses who saw him bowed while some gave him seductive stares that he find annoying.
“Those b!tches can’t they see am married?” He asked fixing his wedding ring.
He head towards the doctors office, and saw Emmett walking out of the office but they two of them ignored each other and walk away, Kingsley walk into the doctor’s office and saw the middle aged man walking out of his lab.
“Doctor Marshall!” Kingsley called.
“Oh Mr Kingsley, I’ve been expecting you, what took you so long” doctor Marshall asked.
“Oh I went out of country, but am back” he said and sat down in front of the doctor.
“So about the lab result, am here for it” Kingsley said and he dropped two envelopes In front of him.
“Your wife came here yesterday and she told me to run a pregnancy test on her which i did” he said and Kingsley took the first envelop and opened it, he saw in the test that she had acute malaria and her typhoid is high too.
“She had malaria that much?, why?” Kingsley asked picking the second envelope.
“I don’t really know, maybe because she is pregnant” he said and Kingsley gave him a sharp side eye.
“You are not serious right?” He asked.
“Am serious you can see for yourself” he said and Kingsley pick the result, he opened it and when he saw the pregnancy part written positive, he feel like crying and smiling at the same time.
“Oh gosh!” He exhaled.
“Congratulations Mr Kessler” doctor Marshall said knowingly And Kingsley feel like snapping his neck.

Kingsley stepped out of his car and the guards outside run to him and bowed.
“Welcome b…..
“Sshhhh…..is my wife In?” Kingsley asked.
“Yeah, she is upstairs” the guard said
“She didn’t go to work?” He asked.
“She is not that strong” the guard said and he nodded before walking into the house, he saw Melinda in the sitting room watching TV but he sneaked up immediately, not wanting her to see him.
Kingsley got to their room upstairs and took a deep breath before holding the door knob, he twisted it and the door opened, he peeped in first and he Saw Nellie sitting on the bed, working on her laptop weakly, she might be typing on the laptop but the truth is that she is the one typing it, her spirit is far from her.
Kingsley stepped into the room slowly and Nellie look up from the laptop and her Jaws really dropped as she saw Kingsley standing in front of her.
“Kin….king….Kingsley!” She stuttered.
“Wifey!” He smiled and she jumped up from the bed she is sitting on and run to him and hugged him tightly.
“Easy wifey!” He said and she tightened the hug.
“Where did you go to, why did you leave without telling me, I was so worried” Nellie said and he smiled.
“Am sorry wifey, I was just busy!” He said stroking her hair
“You should have tried to reply my text” she said.
“Am sorry” he said.
“I was worried!, I thought you left me, I thought I won’t see you again” Nellie cried and he broke the hug to wipe her tears.
“Stop crying, I won’t leave you again okay” he said and she nodded before hugging him again.
“Please don’t leave me again King, I love you, I love you so very much” she said and Kingsley’s eats felt like they aren’t working well again.
