We took a cab home the following morning.
My siblings where moody,I know they were hungry.
The cab man dropped us in front of our mansion and I came down.
I paid the cab man and I walked in with my siblings.
I opened the door and came in contact with my aunt.
Good morning aunt. I greeted.
And where did you spend the night, I know you have stared sleeping with men after all we have done for you. My aunt yelled furiously.
No aunt I was admitted at the hospital I said crying.
Well that serves you right,I don’t even care if you die or not,but if you died it would have been better and don’t forget to do your chores or you are gonna sleep outside tonight I don’t care if you sick or not she said and walked passed me angrily .
I held my siblings and walked into the bathroom and I saw Kate and Kathrine sitting in the sitting room,are they not going to school I asked myself,I hope they are going because I don’t want any trouble. I was about going to my room when Kate voice stopped me.
Where do you think you are coming from? Kate asked.
None of your business. I said sternly.
Oh because my mom isn’t around you want to rap your mouth,you better go do your chores because we have visitors. Kate said filing her nails .
Whatever. I said walking away.
What did you say? Kathrine asked.
Kathrine you and your sister Shouldn’t dare get on my nerves or am gonna beat the he..ll out of you two I said and stormed away angrily.
I left my siblings and went to the kitchen and met dozens of plates.
Even the ones that hasn’t been used were there. I know they did this in purpose.
I put spaghetti on fire,it’s been a long time I ate it.
My body was giving me signal but I totally ignored it. I really needed to do these chores oram gonna starve.
I picked the bucket and began to mop the house.
Hours later.
It was already 3:30pm in the evening and my siblings were asleep after I gave them lunch.
I had been working my a.ss out since morning.
I was done except the clothes.
Kate and Kathrine had been looking for my trouble but I totally ignored them. A knock on the door brought me out of my thoughts.
Jenice go get the door Kate said.
I stood up and walked towards the door only to meet Nia and Mia standing there.
What are you doing here? Nia asked
This is my house,so if you don’t wanna come in, leave. I said
Am just letting this slide because Ian is still very much mad at me but when this is down, am gonna make you pay. She said while her friend glared hard at me.
I left them and went to lay on my bed.
I had already prepared the fruits I was gonna sell today am just waiting for Kyle.
I heard them talk about the number of guys they had slept with when I heard Kate yelled my name.
What I said coming out.
Go get the door she said.
So disgusting I heard Nia say as I walked away .
I ignored her insult and went to get the door, only for me to meet Kyle there.
My heartbeat increase and I could feel the tension between us.
Are you not gonna let me in he asked.
Sorry for my manners I starmmered.
Fk! Kate said when Kyle entered.
Let’s go I said walking ahead of him .
Jenice, who is he? Kathrine said.
Why asking? I asked sternly.
He is so cute, blue eyes, pink lips, jenice am sorry for anyway I treated you but I need this your friend Kate said.
I could see Kyle was uncomfortable.
Kate stop wasting your time on that thing, he is as poor as a church rat, he isn’t our type Nia said.
He looks too cute to be poor Kathrine said.
I held Kyle hands and dragged him to my room.
Kyle am really sorry for that.
Are you avoiding me because of the kss he asked.
It shouldn’t happen again I said.
Yeah it was just a mistake he said and I signed.
Come help me wash clothes I said dragging him out.
But I thought you just recovered are you not expected to get resting he said.
Says who? I asked.
Me he said.
Well things are not done here that way. I said and mixed the water with soap and started washing.
How do you feel? He asked.
Okay. I replied.
Are you sure? He asked.
Stop behaving like you are my boyfriend, it gives me stupid hope like am gonna date the guy of my dreams, but who would wanna date an ugly looking girl with a disgusting scar on her face. I said sadly.
You don’t know Jenice don’t just give up,a guy who loves you would come he said.
So his your boyfriend Kate said coming in with her friends .
What do you girls want Kyle asked.
You this fool you still have the mouth to talk right, when I finally start dating Ian am gonna make you my cleaner you poor church rat Nia said.
I won’t let you embrass my Friend I said.
What are you gonna do Kathrine asked.
Don’t dare me I said
Am gonna do this Nia said and before I knew it she landed a hot slap on Kyle face.
Kyle face turn to that of total anger.
You are gonna regret this Kyle said and stormed away angrily,I could feel the anger in his voice.
Kyle I yelled as I ran after him but he totally ignored me.
