She didn’t know for how long she slept but when she had woken up, she felt so hungry – so hungry she feared she wasn’t gonna survive it if she stayed that way for the next 5 minutes.
She sat up on the bed and discovered it was just one roommate left in the room – the one who had complimented her.
“Yoire awake” the lady beamed, sitting up to look at her.
Octavia just nodded and itched her hair.
How was she going to get some food? How would she find Mica? She could hardly breathe due to the hunger.
“You’re hungry?” The lady asked and Octavia looked at her in surprise.
How does she know all these?
“Come on, I’ll show you to the cafe”.
She stood up from the bed and walked towards the door and Octavia gave her a suspicious stare.
She’s a mind reader -she concluded and climbed down from her bed as well to join her.
And they walked out of the room together.
“My name is Izna” the lady said as they walked side by side on the hallway.
“Okay” Octavia replied simply, trying so hard to keep up with the company.
You know she hated being close to strangers a lot.
“And you’re Octavia, right?” The lady asked and chuckled, but Octavia wasn’t any amused than she already was.
They were silent for a little while and Octavia liked it.
“It’s going to be so much fun over here” the lady broke the silence.
“I can’t wait for the elections to commence tomorrrow. I’m from Lincoln’s clan”
Whatever that meant. Octavia has never heard of the Lincoln clan.
But Gosh! Can this lady stop talking? She was too pestering!
“Really? I should stop talking?” Izna scoffed and Octavia looked at her in Surprise.
Geez! She’d forgotten she was a mind reader
“I’m… I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it that way”. She apologized and the lady surprisingly smiled warmly.
Hmph. She was seeming too friendly
Well, perhaps it’s because she was used to grumpiness.
Close to the cafe, Octavia decided to use her wild knowledge ability to ask something important.

“Um… Izna” she called lowly. “Do you know where the clan Masters stays?

Khalid stood in front of his closest in his room, staring at the crumpled piece of paper in his hand.
He had been looking for a shirt when he found it amongst his things – the drawing Octavia had made for him.
He touched his jaw as he admired it, wondering how she was able to make it on perfectly.
It was indeed, beautiful.
Something in him wanted to smile, but he stopped it and kept the drawing back into his closest, taking out the shirt he needed.
Just then, the heavy headache hit at him again – the sharp sound pie.rcing into his head.
“Arghhhh!!!” He yelled and fell on his knees, his hand on his forehead.
His nose was bIeeding profusely already.
“Khalid!!” Becca came running from the bathroom, a towel tied around her and her eyes dimmed when she found Khalid in that state on the floor.

“No…!” He let out a painful grunt, his head spinning uncontrollably.
Becca got to where he was and held his shoulders and immediately, he turned and gripped her angrily by the ne¢k.
