Later in the night, Leo had come up with some herbs which he believed would help Octavia heal up quick. Well, Khalid had actually ordered him to.
Khalid wasn’t in the room when he arrived. So,he had an alone time with Octavia.
“You need to make sure you abstain from sx for now, at least, for the next 48 hours” he said as he watched her gulp down the bitter drink.
Octavia’s face was crumpled when she finished drinking it and handed the empty bowl back to him.
Leo collected the bowl but didn’t move and Octavia looked up at him, wondering what he wanted.
“You should’ve asked me to make some herbs for you – herbs that could prevent pregnancies” He stated bitterly and Octavia pulled a surprised face.
Why’s he bringing up a dead topic?
“Are you comfortable with this, Octavia? It isn’t gonna be so easy carrying a child in the X-family, most especially Khalid’s child” he added.
“Well, am I expected to kill myself or something?” She cut in. “you said it some hours ago,Leo. The baby can’t be removed”.
“Well, yes. But I’m talking about the prevention”.
“Well, what can that do at the moment? It’s too late to have a prevention.
So, stop preaching to me about it” she rasped and stood up, walking away to the balcony.
She just hated the fact that she had to have a conversation with him because every single time with him brought back the hurtful memories of what he almost did to her.
She stood out at the balcony and took a deep breath as she stared at the lower buildings.
“It’s going to be fine, Octavia” she assured herself, taking deeper breaths
Yes, it’s definitely going to be fine.
It was so dark already and she really needed to get to her room and have some sleep, but she had no idea where Khalid was and he had instructed her not to leave until he’s back.
She stood at the balcony for a long time and when she couldn’t control it anymore, she went into the room and slept on his bed.

Khalid returned hours later to find her on his bed,, fast asleep.
He slackened his steps towards and just stood still when he got there, staring into her face.
He was still finding it hard to believe the whole stuff – the fact that she was pre.gnant for him.
Everything was going to waste – the so much efforts he’d put in, trying to avoid her.
He still couldn’t believe how sbe was able to ruin his relationship with Zack, and after that incidence, he’s been trying so much to avoid her because he couldn’t understand what his heart was telling him.
But today, he found himself taking another risk for her and he really couldn’t comprehend it. What was she doing to him?
And to think she was now Pre.gnant…? He’s never thought of having a child – not now.
But with this, he really couldn’t tell what the future holds because he knew it’d be coming with a lot of responsibilities.
She moved sleepily on the bed, turned and groaned. And slowly, her eyes went open.
“Master?” Sbe called in a frail tone.
It was obvious she was still very dizzy.
“It’s okay, Octavia. You should go back to sleep” he told her and immediately, she drifted back to sleep.

It was a bright morning.
Octavia’s blue eyes went open when she heard some strange noises outside the door.
She sat up with itchy eyes and discovered she was lying on Khalid’s bed. Hold on.. she slept in his room!

The door went open immediately and taking her eyes to see who it was, she discovered it was Becca.
