Octavia and Khalid walked out of the hall together and getting out to the balcony, they ran into Becca.
She’d been standing there like she was waiting for someone; waiting for them.
Khalid had wanted to damn her and just move ahead, but she made him pause when she called his name.
“Khalid”.
He stopped walking and looked at her.
She looked really pale, her eyes swollen and all.
Octavia stared at her, wondering if she was to give them some privacy or something.
Khalid continued staring at Becca, waiting for her to speak up and she moved closer to him and did.
“Khalid” she called again. “I know you must be pretty mad at me and I don’t blame you for that. But… I really want you to know I’m deeply sorry for what happened between us. Believe me Khalid, I never wanted to hurt you. I… I was just angry and confused…”
She paused and sighed, her eyes looking so pathetic like a tear wanted to drop from it.
“Please Khalid… I need you to find a place in your heart to forgive me. Please…”
For a few seconds, Khalid was silent, just staring at her. But Becca’s eyes beamed when he exhaled and moved closer to her.
“Becca..’ he called calmly, taking her hand into his.
Octavia was a little muddled, wondering if he was really going to forgive her.
Khalid held her hand in his and staring coldly at her face, he told her;
“The next time you call me by my name, I swear on my father’s corpse, I’ll ki.ll you”.
Becca gasped. And squeezing her hand a little roughly, he finally let it go and walked away with Octavia.
Becca was shocked. The hell! He really did that to her??? Don’t call me by my name? Oh God!
A tear came scrolling down her cheek as he watched them walking away, especially that lady called Octavia.
She couldn’t imagine the joy she must be feeling inside of her at the moment. The joy must be so so heavy to contain. And to think she was still carrying Khalid’s child!
She sniffed and wiped the careless tear off her cheek
Not to worry, her plan was almost in motion and soon enough, she’d be on the same side with her.

“I can’t believe I’m so nervous about the elections” Mica said as she sat with Draco in the room.
They were both on the bed but Mica made sure to maintain a good distance.
“Really? And why’re you nervous?” Draco asked, taking a bite from his doughnut.
“I… don’t think I know. Maybe, I just…want our clan to win”. She shrugged and also took a bite from hers.
They went silent for a little while as each fed on their doughs and suddenly, Mica found herself feeling a little uncomfortable.
Goodness! What is wrong with her?? No guy has ever made her feel this way; no one at all.
“Mica, is there something you’re not telling me?” Draco suddenly asked and she looked at him immediately
What??
“Huh? What’re you… talking about?” She scoffed.
“I should be the one asking you that Mica. You always act like… you have something in mind..”
“Well, you’re wrong cause I’ve got nothing”.
“Really?”
“Yeah, really”.
A knock intrrupted them immediately and all eyes turned to the door.
“Come in” Draco’s deep voice replied and and the door opened creakily, revealing Moscow.
“Hey buddy” he tilted his head at Draco.
“Hi Mica. Thought I might find you here”.
“Is there a problem?” Draco asked.
“Not really. Just wanna see Mica outside, alone”.
Mica followed Moscow out of the house, wondering what the hell could be so important. That was the first time in years Moscow was requesting for a private conversation.
“What is it Moscow? I’m listening”‘ she said grumpily as they stood in front of each other, far away form the house.
No matter what, she couldn’t forget what the bã$tard had done to her.
Moscow suddenly smirked and touched her hairline.
“I’m here to strike a deal with you, Mica” he stated hoarsely. “I’m here to help you.. help your sister”
Mica scoffed and took a step backwards so he doesn’t have to touch her hair.
Help her help her sister?
“What the fùck are you talking about, Draco? If you jobless,you let me know cause I have more important things to do” she rasped but Draco only smiled and covered up the distance between them.
“Your sister’s about getting into a lot of trouble, Mic” he said. “And if something’s not done to save her, if YOU don’t save her, you’ll regret it. She’s your sister afterall”.
Mica arched a brow, beginning to feel really threatened by his words.
“You know…” He touched her cheek. “Both of us…we have an unfinished business”.

Octavia sat next to Khalid in the moving car, her eyes fixed on the window beside her as she stared at the buildings and trees they drove pass.
Khalid had been unusually quiet in the car and it was so obvious he had something perturbing going through his mind – like he’s always had for the past few days.
Suddenly, the irritating feeling came driving into her as she held her tummy tight.
“Khalid! Please, pull over! Please!” She yelped and Khalid screeched the car to a halt immediately.
In a split second, Octavia jumped out of the car and with her hand still over her abdomen, she ran to the other side of the road and threw up.
She made slight gruntful sounds as she emptied everything in her mouth, leaving her with a sour taste. Goodness! She hated the nausea.
Khalid had also stepped out of the car and leaned on the door, just watching her.
“You alright?” He asked when she was done and stood upright.
“I think so” she answered feebly, turning around to face him

Khalid left the car and walked towards her
“Oh! Little Miss preggy” he stated sarcastically as he got close and stood in front of her.
“Let’s see what you’ve got there, shall we?”
And Octavia was surprised when he lifted the tip of her shirt…
