7 MONTHS LATER
Octavia paced restlessly in the room, her hand on her waist with her big round bump in front of her.
Mica was sitting tiredly on the bed, the phone in her hands as she stared at the four covered plates in the room.
“Call him again”. Octavia suddenly said, her voice sounding really hoarse.
“You were here when I called him, Octavia. I’ve called him twice already and he said…”
“I know what he said. Just call him again!” Octavia snapped. “I just want to know if he’s close already”.
Mica sighed and stared down at the floor and Octavia stopped walking to look at her.
“Why aren’t you calling him?”
“Seriously Octavia? Can you give me a break?” She scoffed. “What else do you want, huh? You asked for some noodles, and the cooks made it for you. Then, you asked for a some bagel and cream cheese, and it was brought to you. You have four meals in total, Octavia, yet you haven’t touched any of them. What else do you want?? Listen, I should be with Draco right now, yet I left him to…”
“So, Draco is more important than me?” Octavia asked tearfully, cutting her off. “You’ve chosen Draco as your brother now, huh? Tell me the truth!”
“Octavia…”
The door opened immediately and taking a look, it was Khalid.
“Khalid!!” Octavia called in relief and ran to him, a tear running down her cheek.
She hugged him as soon as she got to him, her bump preventing her from giving him a tight hug tho.
“Hey….” Khalid stroke her hair gently, looking at Mica as she stood up from the bed.
“You wouldn’t believe it, Khalid. Mica rose her voice on me today. She… she told me Draco was more important to her”. She sniffled and Mica gasped.
“Octavia…! I never said that…”
“It’s okay, Mica. You can leave” Khalid cut in gently.
“Thank you, Master” Mica bowed and left the room.
Then, Khalid turned back to Octavia who was trying to wipe off her tears.
Over the months, she’s grown to be so troublesome, short – tempered and extremely emotional.
“Octavia… What’s the problem? Mica kept calling that you wanted me home as soon as possible” Khalid asked with his hands holding her cheeks and Octavia sniffed.
“I um…. feel like taking tea, Khalid. And I need you to make the exact type you’d made for me the other night. It would…”
“Tell me you’re joking, Octavia” Khalid suddenly cut her off and Octavia looked at him in Surprise.
“Hold on, are you being serious right now?” He scoffed. “I was in an important meeting, Octavia – a crucial meeting with the Clan Masters and I had to put them on hold and rush down here, only for you to tell me to make you some tea? For real?”
“So, I’m not important anymore?” Her voice was beginning to crack.
“I’m no longer important to you and Mica anymore right? Do you think I’m the one that needs the tea?”
The tears were beginning to roll already.
“It isn’t me, but the baby!! Your baby! Do you even know what it means to have a complete human inside of you?? Do you know what it means for a complete human to live, breathe, eat and play inside of you?? You put me in this condition, Khalid, yet you’re being so ungrateful!! You’re so ungrateful!!”
She hit him on the chest as she cried hysterically.
“You’re Ungrateful! Everyone is ungrateful!”
“Octavia…Hey” Khalid called tiredly as he tried holding her.
“Let me be! Let me and my baby be! Let me be” she continued bawling.
“Hey, I’m sorry Okay? I’m sorry. I’ll make you you as many cups of tea as you want. Just…”
“Hah!” He was cut off with a sudden gasp from Octavia who paused abruptly and held her belly.
“Khalid… Khalid…” She called carefully with her eyes widened in shock, her Iegs spread apart.

“Octavia?? What’s the problem??” Khalid asked in panic and instantly, saw a liquid rushing down her legs – more like urine.
“Khalid!! The baby!! My baby!!!! He’s coming out…!!!”
