Oh God! Khalid.
“Hey! Stop that!” The shop clerk yelled, but it was obvious he couldn’t go closer as a result of fear.
Instead, he picked up his telephone and started placing a call – probably to the police?
Khalid moved to where Michael was on the floor and picked him up by the collar.
“Are you telling me…Or not?” He asked raucously and landed a pun¢h on his nose.
Michael groaned and tried retaliating, but it was just too much for him and worst, Khalid pun¢hed him again, making his nose bIeed.
“Really? Do I have to ki.ll you to get the truth from you?” He $hoved him roughly to the floor in such a way he landed roughly.
“Khalid…” Octavia called lightly.
She was beginning to fear he might end up ki.lling him and it seemed the police were on their way already due to the call the shop clerk had placed.
Khalid ki¢ked him in the face before pulling him up again and he really didn’t care that his face was getting damaged already.
Octavia’s eyes widened in shock when she saw him pick up a broken glass from the floor and $t.abbed him right in the leg.
She gasped and covered her mouth with her palm so she doesn’t scream out
“Hey! Stop that! You’re hurting him!” The shop clerk recoiled in fear, but he dare not move.
“Argh!” Michael yelped in fear as Khalid took out the glass and stabbed him again on the same spot.
“Khalid!’ Octavia couldn’t take it anymore as she called and ran to him, but she couldn’t touch him – she was scared to. .
Khalid took out the glass again and this time around, took it closer to his eyes.
“If I need to ask you again, I’ll make sure you won’t be able to look at me when you answer” he stated lowly and took the glass to his eyes.
“I can’t help you!” Michael’ suddenly yelled, his heart beating heavily.
“My…My hands are tied. The bond can only be seperated by your mother”.
Khalid’s hand stopped moving, but it was only for a second.
“You’re lying to me” he gritted his teeth and continued moving the glass close to his eyes.
It was so close, Michael feared he was really going to lose his eyes.
“No! No! I swear, it’s the truth!” He half yelled. “I swear with my life. I don’t have an antidote for that. You need to believe me”.
Octavia felt so scared like she was actually the one in Michael’s shoes, and that was because she didn’t want Khalid to end up doing something nasty.
But unfortunately, Khalid still stabbed him again – this time around on the chest.
“Khalid!” Octavia flinched but he didn’t even look at her as he just left Michael ans walked out the door.
She looked at Michael on the floor, the shop clerk already running to him. Then, she turned around and ran after Khalid.
He was already in the car when she arrived and without hesitation, she got into the front seat before he finally took off.
His hands were shaking on the stearing – his eyes were red. Octavia has never seen him this way before, and something in her guts told her the guy was extremely dangerous at the moment.
He was driving at such a high and ¢razy speed which startled Octavia so much and made her really scared and suddenly, they almost bumped into an oncoming vehicle.
“Khalid!” She called in fright, her eyes dilated. “Y…You need to slow down”.
Something in her guts wanted her to touch him, but she felt so scared he might push her hand off.
What could it be between him and his mother?
He continued driving at such a ¢razy speed, violating all traffic rules and regulations and finally, he lost control of the sterling as they bumped into a tree.
“Argh!!” Octavia gave out a high shriek as they ¢rashed, her head bouncing back to the car seat.
Oh God! She felt a terrible pain on her waist.
“Oh…” She whimpered, feeling so scared
Khalid opened his own door and rushed out of the car, ignoring Octavia who seemed to be in pains.
“Khalid…” She called fearfully. “Khalid…”
Then, she opened the door and rushed out as well, going after him. It was so dark already the whole thing was just making her paranoid.

“Khalid!” She kept calling as she ran after him, ignoring the pains she felt on her waist
She caught up with him and by the time he turned to look at her, his nose was bIeeding.
Oh God!
Then, he pulled her into a tight hug.
“She hates me so much…” His voice quivered, it tore Octavia part.
“I’m not gonna make it…”
