A light gasp escaped Octavia’s lips, but she tried not to look at him so the Leaders wouldn’t get suspicious .
But what’s he doing??? Did he just refer to her as his girlfriend???
Good lord! What if the leaders ask for some kind of proof or something and gets to know he’s lying to them? What if it worsens everything??
Oh, Khalid! She really didn’t want him to get into trouble.
“She’s your girlfriend?” One of the leaders asked and he nodded – gently.
Then, they whispered amongst themselves.
“Peter” one of them called onto a guard in the room. “Get Becca here”.

Becca was in the room with Pamela when one of the boys showed up and told her the Leaders were calling for her.
Becca had been so nervous, but getting the news from them, it trippled her nervousness and made her want to pee on her pãnt.
Why were they calling for her? What could be the problem?
“Do you think I should come with you?” Pamela asked, also looking worried.
“N…No. Don’t worry about it” Becca replied her and left.
She followed the guards anxiously and went with them to the hall where the Leaders were gathered. And getting there, she found Khalid in as well.
Oh God!! Does this have to do with the reports?? But why would the supreme mention her name?? She thought they weren’t going to do such a thing for safety purposes. But it was looking like they told Khalid she was the one behind it.
Her steps were almost faltering as she walked closer and stood in front of their table. She was standing some distance away from Khalid and Octavia, but none of them looked at her.
“G… Greetings, Supreme” she greeted with her head bowed, her fingers fiddling in front of her.
“Becca” the first man called. “is it true you’re having issues with Khalid and he asked you to leave the room, but you refused?”
Becca gasped immediately, her eyes shining bright as she looked at Khalid. But he wasn’t staring at her.
“My Lord!” She gasped again. “T…That isn’t true. We…We never had issues and he never asked me to leave”.
The leaders looked at Khalid, but he wasn’t saying anything, he didn’t need to.
“Khalid, you can’t possibly cook such lies against me” her voice was almost cracked up.
“Khalid, what can you say about this?” One of the men asked.
“I wouldn’t deny her if I loved her at all, I wouldn’t deny her if she was indeed, my girlfriend. So, it’s the truth; I broke up with her already” he answered as simply as possible.
“Khalid…!”
“You can ask her” he continued. “I almost killed her earlier on today; I choked her neck until she was close to unconsciousness. The issue was a heated one and I simply can’t go on with it anymore”.
Becca shook her head.
“It’s true you almost killed me. It’s… it’s true you’d choked me, but we weren’t having issues. We were just…”
“We were just what? Yet you reported me?’ he scoffed and Becca’s mouth clamped shut.
He knows!
“That’s enough already!” One of the leaders said and the silence continued.
“We’ll just let this slide for today. Becca, since Khalid has publicly announced a break in your relationship, it’s only neccesary for you to leave. And Khalid, you need to stick to one lady because if a second report comes in again, you’ll be disqualified without having the chance to make an explanation. Is that clear?”
Becca was at the brink of tears already and could hardly lift her eyes from the floor.
“You’re dismissed” the same man said and they all turned to leave.
As Becca did, her teary eyes bumped into Khalid and the glare she received from him was so frightening – so frightening, she felt like running away.
She whimpered and took her eyes to the floor immediately, and walked ahead of them.

Octavia and Khalid didn’t say a word to each as they headed back to the room and Octavia could tell how dangerously angry he was. Only God could know what was restricting him from venting out his anger on someone.
She felt so nervous and confused. Did Becca report him?? Did she really know about their int.imacy and saw them leaving?
But why would she report him? Like…who does that??
No matter how angry she was, she wouldn’t have thought of hurting Khalid. Or didn’t she love him at all??
Goodness! She couldn’t believe Becca would ever go to such length no matter what! How could she?? What if Khalid had been disqualified??
God!
After a long walk, they got to the room and as soon as they were in, she turned to look at him.
“Master” she called timidly.
“Wh… What do we next?” She asked but Khalid didn’t reply as he just starrd at her.
“I mean…you lieing to the leaders that we’re dating” she added, trying to explain it better for him and Khalid sighed and took his hand to hair, brushing the careless one aside.
“I guess we’ll just have to live with the lie, Octavia” he walked past her.
But Whaat??? She was really going to act as his girlfriend?? Goodness! She’d have to start staying in the room with him!
She turned and watched him as he got to the table and poured himself a drink.
“You should get ready” he told her without turning to look at her. “First thing in the morning, there’d be a meeting before the elections. It’s going to be a meeting meant for the electing Masters and each Master is meant to come with his girlfriend” he said the last line with a smile as he turned to look at her, holding up the wine.
What?? All the Masters and their dates?? And she was going to be one of them??
. God! She so wasn’t ready for this!
“W…Will Zack be there as well?” She stuttered, her heart beating rapidly.

“Everyone of them” Khalid answered with a smirk and drank from his glass.
