“Becca, come on. You need to stop this. You’re hurting yourself terribly” Pamela tried to console her as they sat together in the room.
She’s been crying the whole time and wouldn’t listen to her words of consolation
“Becca…”
The door went open immediately with Draco and Moscow coming in. They didn’t even wait for an invitation or anything and Pamela wondered how they were able to know that was her room
As soon as Draco got to where she was,he landed a heavy $Iap across her cheek
“Argh?” Becca winced as she held the cheek.
Pamela was surprised and wanted to reprimand him, but you don’t talk back at boys like Draco.
“How dare you, Becca?” He snarled. “how could you act so foolish and traitorous?”
Becca bursted into more tears, anger and regret having the best of her.
“You put your own selfish interest above the clan – above the man you claim you love! How could you???”
He lifted his hand to hit her again, but Moscow was quick enough to stop him .
“You’re a disgrace to the clan, Becca”‘ he stated spitefully.
“And I hope Khalid bans you because you don’t even deserve us”.
And with that, he turned around and left, but Moscow stayed back.
“Oh…!” Becca bursted into more tears, sobbing and crying uncontrollably. And Pamela rushed to hold her
“I didn’t mean to do it” she whimpered. “I didn’t want to hurt him. I’m so Sorry”
Only her sobs were heard in the room for the next few minutes.
“You crossed a line, Becca” Mosocw suddenly said. “I understand your hatred for Octavia, but how could you try to bring Khalid down?? How could you try to hurt him that way?? You weren’t just betraying him, but the clan as well. You wanted us to lose out in the elections?”
“I’m sorry…I was just angry. I’m sorry”. Her voice shook pathetically.
Her heart was tearing apart. She was going to lose Khalid. She was going to lose everything! What has she done??
“Well, it’s too late to apologise now. At this point, I’d suggest you pray Khalid doesn’t ki.ll you” Moscow said and left the room, leaving Becca in more tears.

Octavia stirred the content in the cup as she added the hot water to it.
The flavor steams that emanated from it was so salivating and unable to hold it anymore, she paused and took a taste of it.
“Are you really drinking my tea?” She heard a voice from behind and turned to see Khalid standing by the door.
Oops!
“I um… I just wanted to be sure it’s sweet enough” she lied and turned around to face the table again.
Oh! She’s been unable to control her appetite lately.
Khalid left the door and walked towards her, and she exhaled deeply when he was standing beside her.
“How’s it?” He mumbled as he took the tea cup and sipped from it.
It was hot – just like he wanted – and sweet as well.
“Hmm. This is good” he nodded repeatedly and drank more and as Octavia watched him, she felt like crying.
Oh God! She really needed some tea as well!
Khalid glanced at her and drank more from the cup.
“M…Master” she called. “Can I have a taste as well?”
“What’re you talking about, Octavia?” Khalid scoffed. “I asked you repeatedly if you needed some tea and you boldy told me *no* so, I ordered for just two sachets and now you suddenly want tea? Well, sorry, but there’s no tea left”.
He turned around and took a tea spoon while Octavia’ bent her head in soberness.
“I didn’t know I’d want some tea as well” she pouted. “I…I thought I wasn’t hungry. I’m sorry”.
Khalid was stunned when he heard her voice shaking. Hold on; was she crying???
He turned around immediately and was more shocked to find her in tears.
“Wait… you’re seriously crying?” He scoffed. “Fine. You win. You can take it” he handed the cup to her and she sniffed and collected it like a baby.
In less than a second, she gulped everything down, making Khalid astounished.
Woah!
“Thank you” she sniffed again and said and Khalid just shook his head and walked away.

She rinsed up the things she had made use of and returned to the room to find Khalid on the edge of the bed.
She’d have taken a bath, but it was kind of cold. So, she just decided to sleep off.
She climbed into the bed, going under the duvet and she stared at Khalid from behind.
“You done?” He asked and she nodded like he could see her.
Her eyes were so heavy, but somehow, she didn’t feel like sleeping – not when she was staring at Khalid.
Gosh! What is wrong with her?
It wasn’t long before Khalid dropped the book he was holding and climbed into the bed as well.
His sweet perfume interrupted her thoughts as he drew nearer to her.
“Should I turn off the lights?” He asked in what seemed like a whisper and Octavia just nodded.
Then he reached for the wall switch and turned it off.
The room went dark immediately and somehow, something in Octavia’s instincts told her something was gonna happen.
She felt Khalid snuggle up himself beside her – under the duvet. And next, she felt his hand on her th.ighs.

“Octavia” he suddenly called. “If you were to chose between calling me Master and calling me Khalid, which would it be?”
