CHAPTER TWELVE

SEMI-FINAL

They were just lying down unconscious with oxygen fixed on them.

Their faces, arms and legs were bandaged that I find it difficult to even recognize them. Oh! Tears began to flow from my eyes all over again.

I couldn’t believe these were the same people who showed me love few days ago. Ah! No merciful father, these ones must not die.

You need to show them mercy oh God. You are the God of possibilities, there is nothing too hard for you to do. Let your mercy speak over their lives.

THIS STIGMA: CHAPTER 1 – THE END

In few seconds, I started singing with my eyes closed and head raised up to heaven. Some nurses and doctors were there just watching.

Even the doctors and nurses have lost hope because their chances of survival is very slim. All they think these ones need is a miracle.

But no one believed anything great would happen because they just considered me as a disabled child who is just controlled by her emotions.

The worship became very intensive as my voice became very loud. I started speaking in an unknown tongues that I couldn’t even control.

For up to fifteen minutes, nothing seems to be happening as the patients were still lying the way they were on the bed.

I wasn’t discouraged because I knew the God I serve. I knew that He would never disappoint me. My mum was also praying voilently.

Just like what seems like a trance, I saw Favour and her parents each walking to a place I don’t even know.

I shouted their name but that couldn’t hear me because they had gone far from where I was.

I shouted at the top of my voice “please don’t go, come back” but they did not answer me because they couldn’t hear my voice at all.

They got to a particular place which look like a boundary and as they were about to cross the line, someone clothed in white with wings at his back appeared and shouted ‘stop’.

Immediately they heard that voice, they stopped. The Angel told them to go back because it was not yet time for them to leave the world.

He told them that they are not done with their assignment on earth and they need to journey back to the world.

The voice of the Angel was very loud and I could hear him from afar. I was very happy and was shouting “hosanna in the highest”.

In the twinkling of an eye, I was conscious again but this time around, I was smiling and singing “hosanna in the highest”.

THIS STIGMA: CHAPTER 1 – THE END

Few seconds later, Favour and her parents became conscious again.

All the nurses and doctors who were just there trying to do one thing or the other shouted as they never believed something like that could happen.

Already, some minutes ago they noticed that in minutes to come, the patients would give up but here they are fully awake and breathing very fine even without the oxygen.

They were all amazed at the powerful hand of God.

Some of favour’s relative who were waiting outside heard the shout inside the ward and they all ran into the ward, each of them having tears on their faces.

They were also shocked as they saw their loved ones conscious again with their eyes opened.

They laid down on the floor and joined me in singing praises to God Almighty.

Oh! My God has shown His wonders once again. He never stops to amaze me. He has done what only Him can do in the lives of these ones.

What the doctors have lost hope on, the doctor of all doctors and the greatest physician made a way. Wow! What a great and mighty God we serve.

Like wild fire the news of this great miracle has spread all over the town in few hours.

And since favour’s family were well known in the society, a lot of people were trooping into the hospital to see with their own eyes.

I never knew that favour’s mum was the only sister of the governor of the state.

The news had gotten to the governor that his only sister who has been in coma with her husband and child is conscious again and the miracle was done by God through a little disabled child.

Some newsmen came to the hospital as well and I was being interviewed.

I told them how Favour and her parents showered love on me before their accident.

Unknown to me, I was being showed live on the television together with my mummy.

People were so amazed that despite my disability, God was doing something great through me.

Everyone wants to touch me and take pictures with me.

Within few hours, God has made me the talk of the whole state.

Indeed this my Father (God Almighty) never stops to amaze me. He has turned my weeping and shame into joy and laughter.

THIS STIGMA: CHAPTER 1 – THE END

Few days later, Favour and her parents were discharged.

On a beautiful morning, we got a call from favour’s parents as they informed us that the governor has requested to see us in his house.

What! Me! Visit the governor of the state? Ah! Where will I start to appreciate this great God?

The next day, we got to favour’s house and since they were already waiting for me and my mum, we entered their car and zoomed off to the Governor’s house.

As we entered the house…
