Episode 22
Mico’s Pov:
I waited patiently in the car for Alexa to arrive. My car was parked in the school garage and I had earlier called her and told her to meet me there so I could tell her of my plans.
I couldn’t tell why but I actually feel nervous about this. Will I be doing the right thing?
Well, of course, I will. I really needed a girlfriend and since Alexa’s the closest female friend I have, I think she’s the right one for me.
I looked through the windrow and sighted her coming towards the car. She’s really beautiful, but I think Alyssa’s more pretty than she is.
Wait, why am I thinking of Alyssa?
Gosh! I can’t tell why I can’t seem to get her off my mind since the previous night
No. You need to stop this Mico. Alyssa’s just a friend . There’s nothing going on between both of us.
Shortly, Alexa got to the car and I opened the door for her to come in. I could read the happiness and curiosity on her face as she sat next to me in the car.
“Hi Mico” she said breezily.
“Hi. Thanks for coming” I told her and she laughed.
“There’s no need to thank me Mico. You should know I’m always here for you.”
We both kept mute for a short while.
“So…you said you wanted to see me?” She finally broke the silence.
“Un. ..yes.” I replied and cleared my throat.
“Actually, there’s something important I need to tell you.
“Let’s go on a date. I’ll tell you all about it there”.
Immediately I said that, her eyes beamed and her cheeks turned red.
She looked at me with disbelieve and a smile left her lips.
“I…” she paused and bent her head, blushing
“Okay Mico. Where and where do you want it?” she asked.
“Uhm…About that, don’t worry. I’ll send my driver to pick you up by 7pm” I replied and she smiled again.
“Okay then. Thanks I’ll be waiting”.
We paused and smiled into nothing.
“Come on; ill work you to class” I told her she she nodded happily and we left the car together.
she kept blushing as we walked around the school. All the students were staring at us. Some were even taking pictures with their phones .
I’m pretty sure Alexa must be feeling like a queen right now
she can’t even stop smiling.
I followed her to the class and when we got to the door, my eyes ran into Alyssa. I noticed a confounded look in her eyes as she starred at me and Alexa.
She looked shocked and we just kept staring at each other for while; although I couldn’t tell why.
But why am I suddenly acting this way? She’s just a friend.
“Bye Mico” Alexa broke into my thoughts and I looked at her.
“Okay. Bye” I told her and left.
Alyssa’s Pov:
My eyes dropped when I saw Mico and Alexa together.
Oh my Mico! Why were they together?
I looked at her as she walked in and she was so happy.
Her two friends walked up to her immediately and she started whispering something to them which kind of made them bemused.
I looked away sadly and decided to go through my new phone since that was what most of the people in the class were doing.
I logged into the school group chat and…whaaat!
Mrs Tamara has been bailed out?
Holy christ!
how did this happen? Why would she bailed out?
Wasn’t she proven guilty?
I went through the comments and most of the students were saying she had a lot of connections and that was the reason she couldn’t stay long in jail.
It was probably the work of bribery.
But it so isn’t fair!
I kept going through the chat and also discovered she had also resigned from the post of the vice principal and the students were saying she resigned before she gets fired.
But why would she be allowed to just walk away?
It isn’t fair.
