Episode 29
“I really can’t wait to see who wins…” the students around me kept talking.
“Mico is very good in basketball…”
“Yes, but don’t forget Jeremy defeated him last year…”
“Oh, my! I really can’t wait!”
Finally, the whistle went off and my heart skipped along with it.
Oh, Jesus.
Who wins?
Alyssa’s Pov continues:
The game started as Jeremy was the one holding the ball.
He played the ball but Mico outsmarted him and collected the ball from him.
They continued playing and Jeremy also got hold of the ball again abs had almost bounced it into the net.
Everybody gasped as they all thought he had scored the goal, but it bounced on the edge of the net and and fell back on the floor.
I held my chest and took in a deep breath.
I was so scared.
Mico and Jeremy were both experts in the game since it had been really difficult for one to give in to the other.
But after about 20 minutes into the game, someone finally scored a goal and it was…Mico!
Oh, thank goodness!
Mico scored the first goal and clapping and jubilation filled the court.
The coaches came out and held Mico and a frown crept into Jeremy’s face.
Mico smirked at him and he grinned and left court in anger
Alexa’s pov:
I walked out of the basketball court with my friends after watching Mico defeat Jeremy.
I was so happy for him but was saddened by the fact that he was avoiding me.
What have I done to him?
“Congratulations, Alexa. You passed the first stage of the competition” Jeenly told me as we walked into an empty classroom.
I didn’t say anything but just sat on the locker. I was so sad.
“Why’s Mico avoiding me?” I asked with sad look.
“But girlfriend, don’t you think a
Alyssa might have something to do with it?” Aj asked.
“Alyssa?” I turned to her and asked.
“Yes. Shouldn’t you think of it?
“Even during the competition, I noticed he was smiling at her. Don’t you think there might be something fishy?”
I stood up from my seat angrily and started pacing around.
“Ive never liked that Alyssa, not even for once.
Since she came into Mico high, she’s been drawing a lot of attention for herself. I think it’s high time I fixed her in her place.
I’m going to turn her into a laughing stuff that she’d be too ashamed to even show up here again.
I’ll make her run nak*d round the entire school” I said angrily.
Wow Alexa ,it seems you have something good in mind.
Spill it out” my friends told me and I smiled and began telling them of my plan.
