I touched her hands and they were now getting cold.
God, no.
“Alyssa” I called and sat on the floor beside her
I drew her close and placed her head on my legs.
I placed my finger close to her nose and she wasn’t breathing anymore.
“Alyssa” I called in a faint voice and wept.
What is he happening to her?
I sent my fingers into her hair and wept bitterly.
This is all my fault.
I never should have left her in the first place.
“Somebody help! Please!” I cried but the street was just too empty.
I looked at her pretty face and she was just looking lifeless.
No; this cannot happen.
I embraced her to myself and soaked her hair with my tears.
I can’t lose her; I don’t want to.
She’s too precious to me.
Now, it’s obvious.
I don’t need any other proof.
It’s certain.
I really do love her.

I looked around and screamed.
She was slipping away; right there in my arms.
This cannot happen.
I held her tight to myself and sobbed.
“Alyssa, please” I wept.
“Don’t do this to me.
I need you.
“This is all my fault.
I shouldve been there for you.
I shouldn’t had abandoned you.
“Please stay with me.
I can’t do without you.
Alyssa
I love you…”
I placed my lips on her forehead and wept bitterly.
This is the first time I’m shedding tears in my life.
And this is definitely the first time I’m falling in love.
“Alyssa” I sobbed softly.
The tears were still pouring down.
“Can you hear me, please?
I love you”.
Then I tearfully placed my lips on mine and kissed her.
I don’t want to lose her.
I don’t think I’ll be able to cope.
But who could’ve done this?
Who did this to my Alyssa?
I kissed her again and tears fell from my eyes and stained on her lips.
I busted into more tears and buried my face with her long dark hair.
“Nigel?” I heard someone call faintly and my heart skipped.
I opened my eyes wide and slowly lifted my face from her hair.
I looked at her and her eyes were weakly open, staring at me.
