But I never imagined it’d happen.

“Alyssa?” He called and touched my palm and that was when I realised a tear was rolling down my cheeks.
How can I be the girlfriend of Mico Salvatore?
Am I really worthy at all?
“What do you say, Alyssa?” He asked and I sniffed and looked and the ring.
“I love you too, Mico. I mean, I’ve…I’ve always loved you. But…”
“If you don’t accept this, my sisters are going to kill me by morning” he cut in and I laughed with tears still rolling down my cheeks.
“it might sound crazy to you, but…I’ve always dated you even before we met” I said ruefully.
“So, I think you’re proposing a little late”.
We both laughed lightly and he used his fingers to wipe the tears off my face.
Then he took out the ring and slipped it into my finger.
Oh, God!
“Sorry it’s late” he said with a smile and kissed me.
It was a snogging kiss and this time around, I reciprocated.
Although, I’ve never kissed before, I didn’t care if I had done it properly or not, just as long as I didn’t bit his lips.
We unlocked from the kiss and next, he embraced me.
“Thank you Alyssa” he said calmly and kissed my forehead.
I smiled and looked into his face.
I can’t believe this has really happened.
I just became the precious Mico Salvatore’s girlfriend.
Whom would’ve thought of this day?
Next, he carried me up in his arms and took me to the bed and for a stupid reason, my heart started thumping fast.
He turned off the lights, leaving just one blur purple light which was meant to be the sleeping light.
Then he climbed the bed and snuggled himself next to me.
“Are you feeling cold? I could turn off the AC” he said and I shook my head.
“It’s okay this way” I replied and he smiled and covered our bodies with the duvet.
He wrapped his hand around me and held me tight and I slowly placed my hand on his chest.
“I love you” he said in a muffled breath.
“I love you too” I replied with a wide smile and he pecked me on the hair.
