“What do you mean do I remember him? How can I forget someone like him?” She asked.
“Okay. If you had an opportunity to know whom he was, would you take it?”
‘What? Of course, I would!”
“But…what if it was risky?”
“Well, I’d Still take it. I mean, getting to know who Jeremy is is a lifetime opportunity and I’d do anything to find out.
“Like, I’d want to know who he is, why he’s so rich, who are his family…hold on Alyssa, why are you asking?”
I kept mute as I stared at his car. There was still no sign of him.
“Alyssa?” Sandy called on the phone.
“Uhm…nothing. sorry, I have to go. I’ll call you back” I replied and ended the call and switched it off.
I placed my hand on my chest and inhaled deeply.
Should I be doing this?
I left the balcony and went out to where the car was. I looked left and right and there was no one around.
Then, I opened the boot and got in, lying sideways and after that, I closed myself in.
God!
Are you sure I should be doing this?
But I really want to know who Jeremy is.
I want to know where he comes from.
But what if I get into trouble?
Shortly, I heard some footsteps and figured it was him.
He opened the front door and entered the car. And my heart beat increased.
Then his phone started ringing and he picked up.
“Yes.
I’m on my way” I heard him say and I think the line dropped afterwards.
Then he turned on the ignition and started the car and we started moving.
I shut my eyes and prayed I don’t regret any of this.
I really hope I’m not making a mistake.
But the curiosity was too much already.
I really want to know who Jeremy is.
