CHAPTER 33
MORNING**
Kristina turned to the other side of her bed and snuggled with her pillow. Arms wrapped round her waist and Logan popped his head and looked at her sleeping face from behind.
“Good morning angel” Logan kssed her cheek.
“Wanna sleep more, go back to sleep!” Kristina pouted and snuggled more with her pillow.
Logan chuckled and kssed her cheek, her nose and also her cheek again. That made Kristina giggled while opening her eyes.
She turned and faced Logan, hanging her hand on his neck.
“Morning Logan” Kristina smiled.
“How was your night?” Logan asked…
“Beautiful” Kristina kssed him and looked at the clock on her bed stand.
“Gosh!, it’s almost 9AM. Have to get ready for work” Kristina said and made to stand up.
“No…just stay here,, I’m your boss so you won’t be late” Logan muttered kssing her shoulder.
Kristina chuckled and pushed him on the bed then came on top of him…
“Go home Logan” Kristina kssed him and stood up then entered her bathroom.
Logan sat up on the bed and smiled, the thought of them being a thing makes him wanna jump and scream it out to the whole wide world…

PARIS, 01:30PM**
Valentina groaned for the up tenth time. Ricardo left earlier for a lunch with some of his friends here in Paris, the kids are having their nap and right now she was bored as h’ll!!
Valentina walked out of her room and went downstairs then sat down and switched the TV on.
She was still surprised by what Ricardo told her yesterday. If it was another person then she will say he was joking but Ricardo isn’t the type to joke around…
She sighed and switched on the TV then began watching it. An interesting chinese serie was going on title ‘The legend of Yun Xi’
She was so engrossed in it that she didn’t even notice Ricardo enter the living room. Looking as hot and handsome as always.
He smiled when he saw Valentina watching TV. He walked to her and stood behind her without her knowing.
“Heo!!” Ricardo saod beside her ears.
That startled Valentina who jumped and turned to look at him.
“Oh…boss,,, I mean Ricardo” Valentina said, feeling really uncomfortable.
Ricardo chuckled at how nervous and uncomfortable she was. He dipped his hands in his pocket.
“Val relax,,, I won’t force you into dating me. I just spoke out my mind last night, sorry maybe I was too fast but I just couldn’t hold it in anymore” Ricardo said.
“That doesn’t mean that I’m gonna give up on you. I’m convinced that you’re the one for me so I’ll try everything possible to win you over and if I see it isn’t worthwhile…then I have no other choice than to give up but for now,,,” Ricardo smiled and went upstairs.
Valentina simply looked at him till he went upstairs…

WEDNESDAY**
TWILIGHT HIGH**
The driver opened the door for them and Gavin and Kimberly came down the car.
“Feels good to be in school” Gavin smiled.
Well for the past three days he’s been bed ridden, was really sick. He was diagnosed at Rita cares.
His friends has been visiting him daily. Well all apart Iris.. Seems like she’s avoiding him.
Well Gavin really wanted to the who rapped her but in the end he decided not to search for the person. He wants Iris to be the one to tell him and he won’t force her to tell him…
He walked in the school campus and men!! It was like he was a celebrity. Students who knew him especially his admirers offered him gifts here and there…
? We missed you so much Senior Gavin
? Don’t fall sick again baby…
? Gosh! I love your new hairstyle, you look hotter…
? Date me!! Please!!!
Gavin chuckled and sneaked out of the crowd with Kimberly.
“You girls can be crazy! Which one is date me??” Gavin chuckled..
“I don’t even see what they see in you. You’re not that cute!” Kimberly shrugged and went to her class.
Gavin shrugged too and went to his locker hoping to meet someone there.
His wish got answered and he met her there. Iris was just packing her things in her locker. She locked it and was surprised to see Gavin standing there.
“Hi” Iris said awkwardly.
“Looks like someone didn’t even care about me. You didn’t even ask if I was feeling better, talkless to drop a message to Kimberly if you were that busy” Gavin pouted and opened his locker which was beside hers.
“Its not that, just that….(sigh) I’m sorry” Iris said.
Gavin closed his locker and looked at her. He suddenly remembered something and opened back his locker then brought out a package handing it to Iris.
Iris slowly took the package which was beautifully wrapped. She looked at Gavin and then slowly unwrapped it
At that moment, Luca was just passing by. He paused when he saw Gavin with Iris.
Gavin saw him but pretended not to see him. He cupped Iris cheek, rubbing his thumb on her lips.
“There’s something there, wait up!!” Gavin muttered. Iris just stared at his face…
Luca folded his fists and walked away.
“I’m I jealous?” Luca wondered, heading to class…
Gavin then released her when Luca left. Irish finished unwrapping the package and was surprised to see it was a brand new phone, more expensive than the one Gavin broke.
“I promise you right, sorry for damaging the former one” Gavin scratched the nape of his neck.
Iris looked at it, it was purple in color with butterfly designs at the back…
“Thank you!!” Iris muttered.
“You’re welcome, have to head to class. See you around” Gavin said and began walking away…
Iris just looked at him walk away.
“I thought he’ll ask me about Xander?” Iris wondered…
Gavin entered his class and met Luca on his seat. At that moment Luca looked up too.
They both exchanged glares till Gavin reached his seat.

PARIS**
Valentina and Ricardo were both at the hall were the show will take place. Everything has already been set.
The only thing remaining were the lights and projectors and other technical things…
“Can’t believe that what brought us here is finally here.” Valentina smiled.
“Yeah and tomorrow we’ll be heading back to New York” Ricardo smiled.
Valentina looked at him. These days he’s been quite different from how he used to be.
These days he’s been like really calm. He rarely spoke to her, not that he’s been avoiding her but he was giving her her personal space, like he was giving her time to think…
Ricardo turned and faced Valentina. He lifted his hands to her face.
“Where did you get this dirt from? You aren’t even lifting weights up but you’re having dirt on your face” Ricardo said, cleaning the place beside her lips.
Only God knows the level of patience he’s been practicing daily. These three days felt like three decades…
“Here, looking more pretty than before” Ricardo smiled and pinched her nose.
He dipped his hands in his pocket and went to supervise the work done. Valentina touched the place he touched and looked at him…

“Today’s class was so boring” Gavin muttered standing up.
“I agree with you” Maxwell replied.
He became a student of this school two days ago. They both carried their things, same as Josh and Karl and made to leave but Luca blocked their way..
Gavin looked at him, wondering what he’s doing in front of him.
“Are you having an affair with Iris?” Luca asked.
Gavin rolled his eyes and brushed his hair to the back.
“It’s my personal life, I don’t see how it concerns you” Gavin said.
“You and Iris are not meant to be. She’s not into playboys and even if you succeed in dating her, we both know it won’t last long till she comes…” Luca said.
Gavin glared at him for a while before walking away…
