CHAPTER 53
GUYS, MADE A MISTAKE ON OUR LAST CHAPTER?. HARLIN IS RICARDO’S MOM, NOT GAVIN’S…SORRY FOR THE MISTAKE.
NEXT MORNING**
Gavin got out of his room, already dressed in his school uniform. He looked cool and cute as usual but a frown could clearly be seen on his face.
Gavin got to the dinning room and then walked to his seat.
“Good morning dad..mom” He muttered coldly and sat down.
“Morning son…” Mr Robinson smiled.
Mrs Robinson simply sighed seeing the moody look on Gavin’s face for she already knew why it was like that.
“Where’s Kim?” Gavin furrowed his brows.
“She left early for school. Think she has some books to return to the library or something” Mrs Robinson replied.
“Okay” Gavin said flatly and continued his breakfast.
Mrs Robinson couldn’t help but just stare at Gavin. She simply sighed and looked down her meal.
Althrough Mr Robinson has been watching them, quite confused with their unusual quiet behavior today..
“What’s happening here?” He asked when he couldn’t hold himself back.
Gavin and his mother looked at each other. Gavin quickly looked away.
“Will you tell him or you prefer I tell him myself” Mrs Robinson said.
Gavin looked down, not wishing to talk.
“Your son is in love and is wooing a girl” She said.
“What?! Gavin… I thought we told you about your betrothal to the only daughter of the Baxter family” Mr Robinson said.
Gavin sighed loudly.
“Yes dad, and I told you countless times. I’m never getting married to that girl… I even hate her without meeting her” Gavin said.
“Gavin…you know very well it’s because of that family that we are who we are. This is our way of repaying them…” Mrs Robinson said with a slight tone of disappointment.
“And this is by handing a girl I’ve never seen over to me for marriage?” Gavin said, already getting angry with his family decision.
“I love another girl and if there’s anybody I’ll love to end up with..it’s her, it’s Iris. I can’t do this to her” Gavin sighed.
“Gavin! It’s too late…” Mr Robinson said.
“Well just find a way and cancel that dang marriage coz so long as I’m Gavin Robinson I’m never getting married to that girl…” Gavin said and stood up. He picked his bag and left.
“He’s just too stubborn” Mr Robinson sighed…
“Who do you think he gets it from?” Mrs Robinson folded her hands.

LOGAN’S MANSION**
“Wake up lazy bone” Kristina hit Logan who was still sleeping with a pillow.
“What…just let me sleep more” Logan pouted and hugged the pillow.
Kristina sighed looking at him. She already brushed her teeth, took her bath and even had the time to make their breakfast.
“C’mon…we’ll be late for work. Especially me, I have some photoshoots to do today” Kristina said.
Logan groaned and sat up. His hair was messed up but still he looked handsome. He caught her wrist and pulled her to the b ed, making her $traddle him as he held her waist.
“I’m awake now” Logan sighed…
“I made breakfast, it’s delicious” Kristina smiled.
“Who woke me up for that?” Logan furrowed his brows
That made Kristina look down and pout sadly making sad puppy faces.
“I poured all my love for you in it…” She muttered.
Logan smiled and switched their position, his hands ¢aressing her th!gh.
“Let me have some deserts before having breakfast” Logan muttered and then claimed her lips.
Kristina dipped her hands in his hair all the while kssing him back with her legs clamped round him.
He lifted her up by the waist with one arm and then placed her on his thigh. He smiled and tugged her hair behind her ear.
“Ricardo proposed we all go to Canada for our two weeks vacation” Logan said.
“Sounds cool to me” Kristina smiled drawing circles on his chest.
“I have a surprise for you once we get there” Logan smiled.
“A surprise? I love surprises…can’t wait!” Kristina exclaimed.

TWILIGHT HIGH**
The first class of the day was over and Gavin got out with the usual facial expression on his face.
“Bro? What’s up?” Luca hung his hand on Gavin’s shoulder while Maxwell, josh and Karl walked beside him.
“It’s my parents with their betrothal sht” Gavin said…
“Again, I’m sorry to say but I warned you about this right?” Luca sighed.
“Well let them say what they want for all I care.” Gavin sighed.
“That’s it man!” Josh exclaimed.
“Just don’t hurt Iris, I’m warning you. I can’t possibly back down for you to break her” Luca said.
“Dude think of it… What if your fiancé is one h’ll of a cutie and a hottie” Karl said.
“Dude!!” They all exclaimed.
“Well I care less. I have eyes for only one person and that person is Iris” Gavin said.
“Awn…lover boy, can’t believe Iris turned you to this. Love is really powerful” Maxwell said as they walked to the library.

“And this is all what you need to know in the Differentiation and Integration” Iris concluded.
“Wow!!!” Kimberly, Riley and Charlotte chorused.
“Never knew it was that easy” Charlotte said.
“Honestly I viewed it like a metaphysical something” Kimberly blurted out making the rest to laugh.
The boys then walked in the library in their group while discussing. Gavin smiled at Iris when he saw her. She smiled back at him…
Maxwell winked at Kimberly who quickly looked away while Luca waved at the girls and walked away.
Josh and Karl were busy flirting with other girls in the library…
“Aren’t they the hottest boys in the school?” Riley said to them.
“Yeah, but I think my bro is cuter” Kimberly said.
“Me too” Iris smiled.
“Awn lover girl…” They gushed.
“Stop that…before the librarian drives us out” Iris said looking at the librarian who was eyeing them.
Suddenly a phone began vibrating. It turned out to be Charlotte’s phone..
“Excuse me” Charlotte walked out to pick the call.
“So Riley, don’t you have a particular guy at heart” Kimberly smiled.
“Well,, I don’t yet know. I mean I have boys who will do anything just to be with me but that’s the old me. Though I kinda like someone but… I’m not so sure” Riley said.
“Who?” Iris and Kimberly asked.
Riley made the sign that showed that she locked her lips.
“C’mon…” Iris drawled…
Charlotte literally flew in, feeling so excited and happy. She ran and sat down on her seat then squealed silently.
“What?” Iris asked
“What’s the big news?” Riley asked.
“I’ll tell you guys once I’m sure of the news” Charlotte said, feeling so excited and happy.
While they were discussing, Gavin walked up to them with his hands in his pocket.
“Uhm excuse me ladies, can I borrow Iris for a while?” Gavin said.
Iris looked at him and then slowly stood then walked out of the library with Gavin. Gavin held her hand and then guided her to the top of the roof…
“So..” Iris said, waiting for him to tell him what they’re doing here.
“Turn around baby” Gavin said.
Iris shrugged and slowly turned around. She felt as Gavin slowly slipped something round her neck.
“You can look at it now.” Gavin said.
Iris looked down at her chest and saw it was a shinny necklace with a golden color with a heart on it.
Iris turned around and looked at him…
“That’s just to show to you that you’re the owner of my heart, my heartbeat, my all” Gavin smiled cutely.
Iris just looked at him, not knowing what to say. This time she was really speechless…
“So I was thinking if we could go to my secret spot tonight after your work and there we can ha…”
He was cut off when Iris took a step closer to him, stood on her toes and then kssed.
Gavin froze. Well it’s not the first time of them kssing but it is the first she made the initiative.
Iris pulled away and stared at him with a smile playing on her lips.
“I love you”
Those three words made Gavin’s heart palpitate, those three words he’s been dying to hear from her.
“For… For real” Gavin blurted out.
Iris chuckled…
“I don’t joke with my heart, so don’t break it” Iris said with a serious look on his face.
Gavin looked at her and then smiled. He cupped her cheek and kssed her head lovingly before pulling her closer to him, hugging her.
“I love you insanely Iris. All I ask of you is to never doubt my love for you” Gavin whispered, suppressing his fears.
“I promise” Iris smiled.
“I love you and only you. No one will take your place, no one…” Gavin said, referring to his presupposed fiancé.

Kristina could be seen taking her photoshoots as expected she was on point, perfect…
Logan was standing not too far, staring at her while smiling. He just can’t help but fall more for her at each passing day.
“Sir, I’m here. You asked I should meet you once I’m here” A voice said.
Logan turned to see it was jade who was standing there, smiling at him. He just stared at her for what seem like eternity.
He lifted up his hand and then cupped her cheek, that alone sent waves down Jade’s body.
He slowly crawled his hand down to her neck and before Jade could do something, he added pressure and then sIammed her back harshly on the wall.
Jade’s hand flew to hold Logan’s hand, trying to free off herself.
“You bI00dy wh’re. How dare you play such things on me? How dare you threaten a mother with her daughter’s life?” Logan yelled angrily.
Jade gasped loudly as she slowly began turning red…

THE BAXTER VILLA**
A shinny black car drove into the mansion and then stopped in front of the house.
The driver got down and opened the door then out of it came a very sxy and beautiful looking lady.
With long black shinny hairs, and a curvy body plus a small pretty face.
The maids all rushed in to inform their Master. Finally after many years of search, the heir to the Baxter clan has been found.
“Welcome home Miss” The guards bowed.
The lady smiled cutely and innocently. Minutes after, a man walked out of the house.
He looked old but it was not really showing due to how he maintained himself. His guards all bowed down to him, indicating he is their Master.
“Welcome back home my Emery…” He said, tears could he seen brimming at the corner of his eyes.
