CHAPTER 93
Valentina smiled when she was done cleaning Ricardo’s room. She smiled as she looked around.
“This job is actually easier than that of a bartender” Valentina said inwardly.
Her eyes caught the picture on the wall and she walked to it, staring at it.
“What actually happened to her” Valentina wondered.
Her head suddenly hurt like ¢razily. So much that she held onto the wall for support.
Images of her kssing someone, they cuddling together, kssing and laughing together.
She slowly opened her eyes when the pains subdued, confusion marred her face.
“Who’s he? What just happened?” Valentina asked out loud.
The door to Ricardo’s room immediately opened. That brought Valentina out of her thoughts as she immediately took all the equipment she came with.
Ricardo paused when he saw her picking her things quickly.
“Good afternoon Sir” She bowed and made to walk pass him.
“I hope you didn’t take anything that doesn’t belong to you.” Ricardo said with a straight look on his face.
Valentina paused and slowly turned to him with a puzzled look on her face.
“What do you mean Sir? Are you insinuating I’m a thief?” Valentina asked.
“Who knows, you might do anything for your daughter” Ricardo shrugged and walked in.
“Me?! A thief?! I admit that I have to ensure a better future for my daughter but at least I’m not that desperate to steal from you!! Who do you think you are?! Just because you’re rich doesn’t give you the right to trample on other’s dignity” Valentina snapped.
Ricardo just snubbed her and began unbuttoning his shirt.
“I wanna have my bath,, get out!!” Ricardo said, removing his shirt.
Valentina folded her fists tightly as she frowned deeply.
“Maybe that’s why your wife left you…” Valentina blurted out and turned to leave.
Ricardo grabbed her by the hand and slammed her back really harsh on the wall fuming really hard.
“Don’t you dare talk carelessly about my wife.. You’re nothing compared to her” Ricardo growled angrily.
Valentina just stared at his face for a while. Her gaze landed on his lips and then his jawline, then his chest with a beautiful tattoo on it. He was really perfectly built.
Valentina closed her eyes and pushed him away, rushing out of his room. Ricardo rested his head on the wall.
She just reminded her of how him and Valentina usually quarrel when they first met and honestly that hurts so bad..

Valentina sat on the floor in the kitchen as she rested her head on the wall.
“I seriously need to control this temper of mine” She said inwardly.
Her mind drifted to how his shirtless looks like and how the cold look on his face added more to his hotness!
“Stop that!!” Valentina yelled to herself.
She looked at her reflection through the window and she slowly touched her burnt face.
“Will I ever find love? Who will love this ugly me?” Valentina said and sighed.
“Jocelyn?” A maid called, making her turn.
“Yes” Valentina answered, standing up from the floor.
“I need to buy some things from the supermarket. Can you help me out?” She said.
“Oh..sure” Valentina replied and smiled.
They both walked out of the kitchen..

“Repeat what I thought you” Minnie said with a stick in her hand. She pointed at the letter on a board.
“A…B…C…F…G…uh, H?” Pearl said.
“Good but you actually forgot letter ‘D’, anyways that is super good for a kid of your age. You’re quite intelligent” Minnie smiled.
Pearl just smiled cutely. She spotted Ricardo coming downstairs while fixing his shirt.
“Dad.. Just look how bright Pearl is” Minnie said.
Ricardo looked at Minnie and Pearl and smiled shortly before heading to the exit.
“Why are you always frowning Sir?” Pearl asked innocently.
Ricardo looked at Pearl and sighed. Her and mother are really the same. Nuisance!
“You can always tell me Sir. I can help” Pearl smiled cutely.
Ricardo ached his brows, staring at her. Is she really a kid or what?
“Okay” Ricardo muttered and made to leave again.
“Uncle Cardo!!”
Ricardo turned to see it was Jordan with Kristina. He groaned loudly…here comes the king of nuisance.
“Uncle, who is she?” Jordan asked, looking at Pearl.
“She is Pearl” Pearl smiled.
“Pearl? You don’t look like your name?” Jordan frowned.
“Jordan!” Kristina and Minnie snapped.
Pearl frowned deeply as she pouted.
“Fish head!” Pearl snapped.
Ricardo smiled, seeing her pissed off face. She really looks like Valentina when angry.
“Strange”

SUPERMARKET**
“Just look at how fresh these strawberries are?” Valentina smiled, licking her lips.
“Looks like you love strawberries a lot,, just the Master’s wife”
“His wife? How was she?” Valentina asked.
“Well her name is Valentina, well she was a no nonsense woman but at the same time kind and funny too. She treated the twins like her own kids and showed them love that even their birth mom never did. She was simple, always treated us well and also loved the master really much, and he did too” She narrated.
“That must really be nice, wish I met her” Valentina smiled.
Suddenly, gunshots wete heard and a deafening alarm began ringing really loud.
“Everyone down!!” A masked man yelled.
Those present in the supermarket began running round in panic and fear. It was a robbery.
“We said down!!” A Lady’s voice said and shot down one of those running around.
That’s when the others knew they meant business. They immediately dropped down to the floor with their hands on their head.
“Get down Jocelyn” The maid with Valentina pulled her down, Valentina looked at her and it was obvious that she was really scared. Even her body was trembling.
Valentina looked at the armed men who walked in. She saw them taking money from the counter while a woman watched from behind with her hands crossed..
“So heartless..” Valentina spatted hatefully but unfortunately, the lady heard it.
She turned and looked at Valentina then slowly began approaching her with a smile playing on her painted lips.
“Heartless? Of course we are..” She said and smiled then the next thing, she sIapped Valentina really hard.
The others began feeling pity for Valentina for they knew she will be d.ead in the next minutes.
Valentina swept her hair backwards and glared at the masked woman..
“Uuu…you wanna bite me? I’m so scared” The masked woman said and laughed at Valentina.
That only infuriated Valentina even more. Without thinking, she lifted her hands and made to sIap the lady but she caught it midway.
The other men who came with her immediately pointed their gvns at Valentina but they stopped when the masked woman raised their hand.
“Don’t.. I wanna have some fun before klling her” She smiled.
Valentina slowly stood from the ground and cracked her neck on both sides before bulging her fists.
“Let’s have some fun” The masked woman smiled and got ready too..
Valentina immediately threw a pvnch at her but she easily dodged it. The masked woman immediately lifted her leg and landed a ki¢k on Valentina’s face, making her fall.
Valentina spit out bIood from her mouth and hissed. She stood up again and launched back at the woman.
They continued fi ghting fiercely with the woman giving few pvnches at Valentina, same as Valentina.
Both of them were loosing their energy but none of them wanted to back down.
The woman made to hit Valentina but she caught her hand and twisted it before kneeing her stomach.
With a swift movement, she tackled the masked woman making her fall on the floor, she took the gun on her placed her foot firmly on her hands, trapping her on the floor.
“I guess you’re their leader. Hand back the money right away and leave before I bIow off your brain” Valentina said, aiming the gvn at her.
The others also aimed their gvn at Valentina all at once.
“Shoot me if you want but I won’t die alone” Valentina said fearlessly.
“Don’t shoot!!” The masked woman said, wincing in pains.
The men slowly dropped their gvn down.
“Now give back all what you’ve taken!”
The immediately obeyed Valentina without hesitating..
Valentina smirked..

RICARDO’S MANSION**
“Like seriously Jojo, you were so awesome! Where did you seriously learn how to fi ght?!” The maid hyped.
Valentina simply smiled..
“Michael taught me” She smiled.
“You mean the hottie who came with you and your daughter? You’re so lucky!!”
“Too bad they got away”
“Mommy!!” Pearl ran to Valentina and hugged her tightly.
“Thank God nothing happened to you mommy” Pearl said, fighting back her tears..
“What’s wrong baby girl?” Valentina said worriedly.
“She saw the news of you beating up and armed woman. It’s trending all over the net” Minnie replied.
Valentina looked up at her and felt her heart race..

“Fk!!!” Evelyn ranted as she barged into her room
She threw the mask she was wearing on the bed in anger.
“Who’s that woman and how dares she humiliate this way??” Evelyn ranted in anger.
“Ma’am, this letter was delivered earlier to”
“Shut up!!” Evelyn shot her down immediately. She dropped down de ad.
“Who’s she??” Evelyn breathed angrily, her chest rising and falling..
