CHAPTER 99
“Uhm Ricardo?” Valentina called, lifting up her head.
“Yes my love?” Ricardo said, tugging her hair behind her ear.
“How were we? I mean our relationship how was it?” Valentina asked.
“Well…it was more like this” Ricardo paused and lifted her heaf up by the chin before kssing her lips.
“And more of this” Ricardo added then kissed her neck.
“Okay..okay..I get it” Valentina blushed and looked away.
Ricardo chuckled and stood up, same as Valentina. He turned and looked at her with a serious look on his face.
“Val, we need to send the kids far away from this place. The earlier the better” Ricardo said.
“Why?” Valentina asked.
“I don’t know whether I should refer to her as your sister or your enemy but I’m sure Evelyn is planning something big… Even though the news says Emilia was ràped till death but to me I know she killed her and now that I took Myles from her, she must be mad with rage. I don’t want anything to happen to the kids” Ricardo said.
Valentina slowly nodded.
“I understand you.. Where should we send them to? And when?” Valentina asked.
“Tonight will be better and I’ll just send to Paris to stay with my uncle for the meanwhile, Pearl will go with them” Ricardo said.
“I know, she’s your daughter too” Valentina said.
Ricardo smiled and kssed her forehead before hugging her..
“This will get tough from now on but don’t worry,, I’ll protect you with my life if I have to. Can’t loose you a second time” Ricardo said.
“Ricardo..” Valentina called.
“Hmm..”
“That Evelyn, my half sister.. I want to be the person to face her” Valentina said.
“Okay, just be careful” Ricardo said.
Valentina nodded with a smile..
“Come…let’s go prepare for the surgery” Ricardo smiled, holding her hand.
They both walked in the bathroom..

THE WHITE HOUSE**
“Omg!! Iris!!! Gavin!!” Kimberly screamed her lungs out.
She rushed to Iris and hugged her tightly, jumping too. They broke the hug still feeling so excited.
“I missed you so damn much!!” Iris smiled.
“Me too, just see how sxy and pretty you’ve become” Kimberly said, checking her out.
“Bro..” Gavin smiled.
“Ma gee!!” Maxwell exclaimed as they hugged each other.
“You seriously deserve a spanking.. Abandoning your girl for so many years” Maxwell said.
“Sorry..” Gavin smiled.
“We watched your performance live and gosh!, it was so romantic.. What a lovely proposal.. Come here big bro” Kimberly said, hugging Gavin.
“Little sis” Gavin smiled happily.
“I hope Max has been treating you well.” Gavin said and Kimberly nodded.
“You better do Max..hope you still remember I have a rod waiting for you incase you break her heart” Gavin said and Maxwell laughed
“What’s happening out here” Mr Robinson said, coming out with his wife.
“Oh my goodness!!! Kimberly!! Gavin!!” Rebecca screamed.
“Mom!” They chorused and rushed to hug her.
“My babies came back.. How I missed you so much!!” Rebecca said.
“How you doing Emerald?.” Mr Robinson smiled.
“I’m good father” She replied politely.
“Max! You grew more handsome my boy” He said.
Maxwell just smiled..
“I watched you on TV Gavin and gosh!, you deserve a good beating” Rebecca said, h!tting Gavin’s head.
“Ouch..sorry mom.” Gavin pouted rubbing his head.

LOGAN’S MANSION**
“Finally! Some good old rest after a long stressful week of work” Logan said, laying on a bench beside the swimming pool.
Kristina smiled and sat down on his thigh. She leaned to him and pecked his lips.
“Your company grew a lot baby” Kristina said.
“Yeah!, and with growth comes work..huge work and responsibilities” Logan said.
“Don’t worry, I’m here to help you out” Kristina smiled.
He sat up and held her waist before kssing her cheek. They both stared at each other lovingly.
“Hey!!” Jordan exclaimed, coming out of the swimming pool with the floats which were on him.
“Dad you’ve been kssing and cuddling mom for a while now” Jordan said.
“So?” Logan said.
“I want you to stop” He said boldly.
Kristina slowly stood up from Logan as she shifted away. Logan slowly rose from his seat, glaring at Jordan.
“Repeat what you just said” Logan said.
Jordan swallowed seeing the murderous look on his father’s face.
“Uhm, dad let’s sort things out.. You see…” He paused, looking for what to say.
“Come here”
“Uhh..” Jordan slowly shifted away…
He ran away and Logan chased him. Kristina just sat down, laughing at them.

RITA CARES**
“Two hours has gone…time to remove the bandages” Daniel said and Valentina gulped down and looked at Ricardo who smiled assuredly at her.
“Okay, I’m ready” Valentina said.
Daniel slowly and carefully unwrapped the bandages on her face till all of them came out.
She opened her eyes and looked at Ricardo who was smiling at her. Daniel passed her the mirror.
She took it and gasp escaped her lips when she saw her reflection on the mirror.
The huge burns on her face was gone, only the redness of the area was there.
“It will take some hours for the redness to disappear. Then your skin color will go back to normal..” Daniel smiled.
Valentina kept staring at her reflection on the mirror. She had no idea she was this pretty!
“Thank you so much Daniel” Ricardo said and shook hands with Daniel’s.
“It’s nothing. I’m happy your wife didn’t die…when are you planning to let the whole world know” Daniel asked.
“When shell regain back her consciousness.” Ricardo said.
“Okay. Thats better” Daniel replied.
“If you’ll excuse me..” Daniel said and left the room.
Ricardo walked to Valentina and held of her hand before kssing it.
“You look beautiful” Ricardo said.
Valentina looked down and blushed greatly..
“Thanks” She muttered.

“Myles… Can I dress like you?” Pearl said, sitting on the bed while watching Myles brush his hair.
“Really?” Myles said, turning to Pearl.
Pearl smiled and nodded with a smile..
“Alright come” Myles said.

FEW MINUTES LATER**
“So cool!” Pearl said, star at her reflection on the mirror.
She was putting on a blue jean with a blue shirt and a pullover tight round get waist with white sneakers.
“I love it!!” Pearl exclaimed
“You look cute.” Myles smiled, tying her hair up in a pony tail.
“Never knew you were so good in fashion big bro” Pearl said…
“Learnt it in case mom gives me a lil sis” Myles said.
Once they were done, they held hands and went downstairs.
“Wow! You’re wearing matching outfits…that’s not fair, I’ll wear mine” Minnie said and went to her room.
Myles and Pearl sat down on the couch with Myles teaching Pearl how to play some games on the tablet.
Minnie came down, dressed like them. She smiled and twirled around.
“Looking cute!” Myles smiled.
Minnie came and sat down next to Myles such that Myles was in the middle. They continued playing games while waiting for Valentina and Ricardo.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Pearl stood up and ran out to know who it is
“Maybe it’s mom and dad! Can’t wait to see mom’s face!” Pearl smiled.
She opened the door with a smile…
“Mo…mmy..” She trailed down when she saw some not so smiling men in front of her.
She looked at them with a wary look. She slowly took a step back she saw them bringing something out..
Myles and Minnie walked to Pearl when she was taking to long. They both stopped when they saw a man who was carrying unconscious Pearl.
Almost immediately, a lady Walked in with a smile on her lips..
“You..” Myles glared at her while Minnie held Myles arm in fear.

LATER**
Michael Ricardo in his mansion who was chatting with Valentina.
Well her face was back to normal and she kinda looks more pretty than before. Michael who was the one driving slowed down when he saw red stains on the floor almost everywhere..
“Mich, what’s wrong?” Valentina asked when she noticed Michael coming to an halt.
Michael ignored her and got down the car, same as the couple. He crouched down and touched the red stain.
A gasp escaped his lips when he realized it was blood..
“Omg! Is that bIood!!” Valentina exclaimed.
They slowly began walking in the house with Michael on his guard, ready to bring his gun out if necessary..same as Ricardo.
Valentina covered her mouth to prevent herself from screaming when she saw the body of bodyguards lying carelessly on the floor.
The house was so calm and unusually cold and eery. The three of them searched the whole house but all they could see are the corpse of Ricardo’s bodyguards and maid.
“I don’t think the kids are in here” Michael said worriedly.
“Look!” Valentina said, noticing an envelope half buried in bIood.
She took and opened it. Ricardo came to read it too.
? You have thirty minutes to find me and once the thirty minutes are over, I’ll kll one of these kids, Your favorite enemy?
Ricardo pvnched the wall once he was done reading it. He swept his hair to the back.
“It’s her right?” Valentina stuttered.
“Yes,, it’s Evelyn” Ricardo glared.
