“She has the kids!” Valentina said, pacing round the living room.
“Being the heartless woman that she is, I know she’s capable of doing what she said” Ricardo said.
Valentina h it her hand on the table in anger.
“If she touches a single hair of the kids, I swear I’m gonna end her” Valentina sneered.
“What shall we do? We dont even know where she could have taken the kids to” Michael said.
“Think I know where she could have taken them” Ricardo suddenly said.

THE BAXTER CLAN**
“I’m so happy to see you back my baby” Peggy hugged Iris tightly
“How have you been my boy?” Gael smiled, patting Gavin’s back.
“I’ve been good dad” Gavin smiled.
“Where’s Charlotte? She didn’t come back too?” Iris asked.
“Yeah, she said she’ll come next week. Issues with a king or something like that” Peggy said.
“A king?” Iris and Gavin chorused..
“Yeah, apparently the king of Denmark I courting her.. He even called me to ask for my permission” Gael said.
“He’s so responsible…she’s lucky!” Charlotte smiled.
“Boss!!” One of Gael’s men ran in the living room, looking breathless.
“Boss…the the Harper clan… They attacked us!!” He said, breathing heavily.
“What!” Peggy exclaimed.
“I was expecting them…but not at such time” Gael said with a blank look on his face.
“Harper clan..it’s Evelyn right?” Iris asked and Peggy nodded.
“What’s happening here?” Gavin asked.
“I’ll explain everything to you later babe” Iris said.
“Peggy, you and Gavin make sure you stay in here and don’t come out no matter what. If worst comes to happen and they succeed in entering the house, use the room found at the cave..it’s unbreakable so you’ll be safe.” Gael said and removed his coat then folded up his white shirt.
He made to go upstairs But Peggy held him by the wrist.
“Stay with us..” Peggy said pleadingly.
Gael smiled shortly and kssed her lips, rubbing her cheek.
“I can’t, as the leader is my duty to lead my men. Just know that I love you very much Peggy” Gael kssed his forehead and went upstairs.
Peggy placed her hand on her chest as she sighed sadly. Iris came and hugged her from behind, rubbing her arm.
“Don’t worry, dad will be fine” Iris said, praying inwardly.

“Take this!!” Gael’s men shot down one of Evelyn’s men.
Unfortunately, another Harper shot him down from behind. He made to enter the house but a bullet at the forehead brought him down..
Gael walked out of the house with a not so happy look on his face. He was with his white shirt and two gvns on both hands with a belt full of buIiets across his shoulder.
“Coming to attack me..you guys seriously want a de..ath wish” Gael said and began shooting them down.

“Argh!!!!!!”
Pearl screamed as she wiggled but she was tied up really tight.
Her arms and legs were spread across a bed and was tied very well at the four corners of the bed. Above her was an axe tied adjacent her neck.
At each passing minute, the axe lowered. Another minute went by and it lowered.
“Ahh!! Mommy!! Daddy!!” Pearl screamed in tears.
She woke up to see herself tied up like this with no one in the room

THE ROOM NEXT DOOR**
“No!!” Myles screamed from the chair he was tied up.
All what Minnie could do was shed tears, she was so scared for their little sister.
Right now they were watching Pearl through the transparent wall separating the two room. They could see her but sbe couldn’t see them.
“Evelyn stop this!! Let me sister go!!” Myles yelled..
“Your sister? How come? Don’t tell me Ricardo had an affair with another woman” Evelyn smiled from where she was sitting.
Myles opened his mouth to speak but Minnie looked at him, urging him not to say a word. If Evelyn gets to know that Pearl is Valentina’s daughter then things might get messier than it really is.
“8 minutes left.. Looks like your father don’t love you that much” Evelyn said and chuckled like a lvnatic.
“So you two, decide on who to die next. Minnie or Myles..personally I’ll choose Myles coz,, you know” Evelyn said and winked.
Myles gritted his teeth still wondering if such a mon$ter gave birth to him.

Michael roughly drove in a building, hitting some men. He got down the car and brought out his gun already on his guard.
Ricardo got down too with a gvn in his hand then followed by Valentina. She was dressed in a white singlet with an army printed pants giving her this bada$s look.
She had her face covered with a mask inorder to ware off chaos. Valentina brought out her gvn too.
The three of them backed each other aiming their gvns at Evelyn’s men.
“Looks like you guess the place she is hiding correctly” Michael said.
“This used to be our marital house till all that happened” Ricardo said.
“We have to split up inorder to quickly find where she is at.” Valentina said.
“Yeah, hope you have your ear pods on?” Michael asked.
“Yeah” Valentina and Ricardo chorused.
The three them quickly moved to different directions. Valentina h it behind a pillar.
She peeped out and quickly shot down on of Evelyn’s men before moving into the house.
Ricardo who was impatient brought out a grenade. He pulled it and then aimed it at them. It exploded clearing his way in.
Michael swiftly dodged their shots as he shot the back too.

“What’s that?” Evelyn asked when she heard a huge explosion outside.
She looked out of the window and smiled when he saw Ricardo and another man battling against her men.
“Looks like I was wrong..he really cares about you. Too bad that won’t save you three” Evelyn said and bit her lips.
She looked front and smiled widely when she saw how the axe was just inches away from Pearl’s neck.
Pearl who was already so tired of screaming just stared at the axe. She closed her eyes tightly awaiting for the worst to happen.
The axe kept drawing near. Minnie closed her eyes in tears while Myles hurtfully looked.
As the axe was just few centimeters away from her neck, it abruptly stopped..
Evelyn immediately frowned..
“What’s happening?” She asked to no one in particular.
She watched as the door to Pearl’s room was broken. Ricardo rushed in and went straight to Pearl..
“Daddy..” Pearl teared up.
Ricardo quickly untied Pearl and helped Pearl up. Her arms and legs were all red and her face was all puffy due to tears.
“Pearl, don’t worry daddy is here!!” Ricardo said and pulled her closer, hugging her tightly.
This is too much for a 3 years old kid to witness.
“Evelyn!!!” Ricardo screamed in anger.
“Stop this game and come face me.. I’m the one you want right? Come out here and face me!!” Ricardo yelled.
Evelyn who was watching everything from the other side of the wall smirked and brought out a gvn from her back.
She stared at it and smiled before looking back at Ricardo.
“Since you insist… Here I come” Evelyn smirked.
