THE WILLIAMS**
“Charlotte..is my sister??” Iris said looking now at Charlotte.
Honestly, she doesn’t even know how to feel. Whether she should feel happy or scared or relieved to know the truth or angry..she is just lost!
Peggy wiped off the tears that were already streaming down her cheek.
“Gael..I’m sorry,, I did it to protect my kids.” Peggy said and stretched her hand to touch Gael.
“Don’t you touch me!!” Gael snapped and shifted away.
“You fooled me for 16 good years! I thought I lost you, I thought you all were dead!! Do you know the degree of pain I went through? For the first in my life I cried,, I cried for you Peggy!! You could have just asked for a divorce rather than playing with my heart like this!!!” Gael yelled making Charlotte flinch.
“I couldn’t..I was just too scared, I needed to protect my kids.” Peggy cried.
“You made me kll Evelyn’s mother, thinking that she was the one who klled you but no!! You were here, moving on perfectly with your life…” Gael yelled.
“Tell me..how many other men did you move on with while i was all…”
Peggy slapped him before he could finish his statement.
“Don’t you dare compare me to a whóre Gael!! Not a single day passed that I stopped thinking of you!!” Peggy glared at him.
Gael lifted his head and glared at her.
“You two calm down” Iris stepped in between them.
“Rather than wasting your saliva on things in the past, why don’t we try and figure out who is that Emery who first came here” Charlotte said.
Gael looked at Charlotte and that’s when his head began thinking that way. Who is that other Emery?
“Who can she be?” Gael muttered.
“I know who she is..” Iris muttered.
They all looked at her.
“When I and Gavin went to escort her to the airport, she whispered somethings to me. She told me that her real name is Joanna and she is just someone who was sent by a Harper to act as…me” Iris said.
“She asked me to keep it a secret till the right moment.” Iris added.
“Evelyn…that devil. Looks like I’ve spared her enough.” Gael growled and stood up. He stormed out of the area.
“Dad!!” Charlotte called running after him but he already entered the car and drove off.
“Gael.. I’m scared of what he will do” Peggy thought.

RICARDO’S MANSION**
“Good morning Colonel” Ricardo greeted a man.
“Morning Mr Thornton, it’s an honor to meet you” The colonel said.
“The pleasure is all mine, thanks for agreeing to my request” Ricardo asked.
“Sure, it’s an honor to train such a high personality like you. I assure you that in a year’s time you’ll be a professional” He smiled.
“Thanks, I already got the training area ready” Ricardo said.
“Great! We’ll start your tutoring tomorrow” The colonel said.
“Seems good to me..” Ricardo said.

HARPER CLAN**
“Tell me, you like the color of your new room?” Evelyn asked nicely when she saw Myles coming downstairs already changed.
Myles looked at her and rolled his eyes then quietly walked to the living room.
Evelyn smiled happily. Finally, she has gotten the heir to her clan..now what awaits her is the role as leader..
She suddenly began hearing people yelling and also some loud commotions were formed. What followed was screams..
“What’s going on?” Evelyn wondered and walked to where the voice was coming from.
Myles peeped and then slowly followed her behind, sneaking up on her.
Evelyn walked to the compound and could see some dead bodies on the floor, bodies of her men
“Fk! What’s happening here?” Evelyn wondered.
Gael st..abbed the last person who came to fi ght him and then sIit his th..roat with the knlfe he was having. The person dropped down d.ead.
He looked up and glared daggers at Evelyn who was standing by the stairs, with some stains of bIood on his face.
“You..” Gael growled.
Gael slowly began approaching her with a murderous look on his face as he twirled the bIoody knlfe in his hands.
“Lyn..Lyn..Lyn. I once warned you that I won’t think twice of ending you if you mess with me. Tell me, why did you fóol me in believing that that girl is my daughter” Gael asked.
Evelyn smirked and crossed her arm under her bbs.
“I see you’ve found out..” Evelyn smirked.
Gael smirked and laughed mockingly.
“You’re so stvpid..you klled your own sister” Gael said and looked at Evelyn.
“What are you talking about?” Evelyn frowned.
“Valentina..is your sister” Gael smiled.
“Huh?” Evelyn exclaimed.
Myles gasped from where he was watching them. He couldn’t believe what he heard…so it is confirmed that Evelyn really klled Valentina and now the most shocking of all is that they’re sisters?!
Gael immediately frowned as he dangerously approached Evelyn.
“You klled your own sister..you klled Valentina. Do you know how much I cherished that girl, I love her like my own daughter. Now that I’ve found her and my daughter, you klled her!!” Gael said.
“Don’t come closer to our boss” One of Evelyn’s men said and brought out his gun to shoot at Gael.
Gael looked at him sideways and then in a swift movement, he threw the knlfe he was holding. It went and got stuck on the man’s ne¢k who fell down and d..ied instantly..
The rest made to shoot but Evelyn lifted up a finger, making them stop. She looked at Gael with a cold look.
“Get out!” She muttered and entered the house.
Myles ran off so that he wouldn’t be caught. Gael glared at her going..
“The next time we meet, I promise you it’s either you or me. You tampered with something precious to me” Gael said.

Evelyn lifted her head up and looked at reflection on the mirror. Honestly, she didn’t even felt remorseful now that she learned that Valentina is her sister. Instead she felt happier.
“I can’t let anyone take away the position I’ve been dreaming of…not even my sister. Good ridden” She smiled and walked out of her bathroom.

“This news is still shocking as hell… You’re my sister.. I don’t even know how to feel right now” Iris said.
“As for me I’m happy you’re the one who turned out to be my sister. Thinking about it..you’re betrothed to Gavin” Charlotte said.
“Wow…never thought about that” Iris gasped.
“Wow,, seems like you two were match made from heaven” Charlotte gushed.
Iris smiled and sighed..
“Well what’s the point… Gavin is gone and my elder sister is gone too” Iris sighed sadly.
Charlotte rubbed her back and placed her head on her shoulder.
The car packed in front of their house and Gael came out of it, dressed in another outfit. Well he went back home to shower and clean off all the blood on him
Gael walked into the house and met Iris and Charlotte sitting at the veranda house. He stared at Iris as Iris stared at him too.
Calling him dad seems so weird to her and same as Gael… It’s so weird to find out that you knew your daughter all this while but just didn’t knew that she was the one.
“Emerald… Go pack your things, you’re coming to stay with me and Charlotte. Staying here is too dangerous for you” Gael said.
“Huh? What of my mom?” Iris asked.
“I don’t know. If she wants to come with you, it’s her problem. I’ll be waiting in the car” Gael said and walked to the car.
Iris nodded and walked in while Charlotte followed behind. They went and packed Iris’s things then helped Peggy pack her things too.
Once they were done, they walked out of the house. Gael helped them pack their things inside the booth.
Iris looked back one last time at their house. The place where they get to share a lot of fun memories with Valentina.
“Will miss this place” She muttered and entered the car which drove off with them..

NEXT DAY, RICARDO’S MANSION**
“Good step.!”
“Now you have to widen your legs abit and then tighten your hold on the gvn. Look closely at the target and don’t loose focus then…shoot!!!” The colonel said.
Ricardo nodded and did as he was told. He aimed at a glass which was place farther away from him then he pulled the trigger.
“Nice shot!! Now shoot down all the targets” The colonel said.
Ricardo began shooting at the various bottles placed at different angles of the garden. Though he missed some, he also succeeded in shooting some.
“Nice! That’s all for today” He said.
“Thanks man!” Ricardo said and they shook hands.
They discussed for a while before the colonel left. Ricardo summoned one of his guards to come..
“Boss, you called for me?”
“Go and fetch Emilia and bring her here to me. Tell her I need really badly” Ricardo said coldly.
The guard nodded and left. Ricardo recharged the gun with bullets and then continued his training on his own…

BAXTER VILLA**
Iris walked out of her new room, already dressed for school. She walked to the living room but stopped when she saw Gael starring out of the window.
“Uhm good morning Sir,,,sorry I mean dad…” Iris said weirdly.
Gael looked back and smiled shortly.
“Good morning Emerald. Hope you slept well, do you like your new house?” Gael asked.
Iris nodded with a smile.
“Breakfast is ready. Go eat with the others” Gael said.
“Alright… Won’t you come over?” Iris asked.
“I don’t think so, I don’t wanna see your mother for now” Gael said.
Iris sighed and took a step closer to him.
“Uhm dad..gosh this sounds so weird coming from me” Iris sighed making Garlic chuckle.
“Okay dad.. You need to understand mom. She did that for a reason,, well it wasn’t the best reason but she did that to protect me and my sister. Why don’t you try to forgive her.. I know you both still love each other very much” Iris said.
“Why don’t you try both try to be happy once again” Iris said.
Gael looked at her for a while and then sighed. He slowly nodded..
“Okay, I’ll try and forgive. Though it will be hard” Gael said.
“That’s the spirit dad! Come let’s go eat breakfast” Iris held his hand and that instant, she felt a spark. Something was missing in her life and now she knows what it is..a father!
They both walked to the dining room hole holding hands. The maids couldn’t help but stare at them like they’ve seen and abomination.
“I just wish you were still with us Val..” Iris thought sadly.

Inside a room, a bed could be seen there and beside it a machine beeped slowly.
The environment was all peaceful till when the machine began beeping crazily..
Doctors rushed inside the room and began trying their possible best to stabilize the situation.
“Quick! We’re loosing her and the baby!!” The doctor said.
They continued their struggled till the patient’s condition was stabilized.
“That was close!”
