CHAPTER 89
“Who..who I’m I? What I’m I doing here?” Valentina asked.
The two men walked to her..
“How about her face?” The man wearing leather jacket asked.
“Well her face is not the main cause..we can repair it anytime the problem is this..” The doctor paused and faced Valentina.
“Miss,, do you remember who you are?” The doctor asked.
Valentina just stared blankly at him. She closed her eyes to think but opened them back and shook her head.
“Amnesia…”
The man wearing a leather jacket stepped in front of her and came closer to her.
“My name is Michael Seville and that’s your doctor,, Carlos” The man said.
Well I present to y’all Michael Seville, Valentina’s savior, 26 years of age..very dashing and handsome. Not only is he a very recruited bodyguard, but he’s also the secret agent of the FBI.
Well he’s also Ryan’s cousin and actually came to America to visit Ryan when Ryan suddenly called him to come over to the incomplete building.. To his amazement, he met fire! He struggled his way into the building only to see his cousin was already burnt to toast by a wood that fell on him.
Beside him laid Valentina, her face was half burnt. Luckily she was barely alive.. He took her and rushed out of the building with her then went to the safest hospital.
They removed the bullets from her and treated her all they could. It was quite a risky mission but he traveled all the way here with Valentina and he kept financing for her treatment till now that she has woken up. Well guess you know all…
“Michael?” Valentina repeated trying to recall something but impossible, her brain was just blank
Michael stared at her with a serious look on his face. He made researches on her and he knows everything he needs to know about her but..
“I don’t think knowing the truth now will do her any good. She needs to deliver first” Michael thought, looking at her stomach.
“Yeah, my name is Michael and I’m your..I’m a friend of yours. You got into a fire accident and in the process you loss your memory. Your real name is…is” Michael began thinking.
“Yeah! Your real name is Jocelyn McKay and you’re pregnant,, almost two months pregnant. The father of the baby is,, is far away” Michael said and bit his lips, hoping she believes it.
“Jo..Jocelyn and I’m pregnant?” Valentina repeated.
“Yes Jojo” Michael replied.
“Okay,, and my face?” Valentina touched her burnt face.
“Well it got burnt in the process” Michael replied.
Valentina thought for a while and looked at him before smiling and nodding.
“Okay Mich” She replied.
“Cool!, just rest…let me get you something to eat and drink” Michael said and walked out. The doctor followed behind…
“Why did you lie to her?” The doctor asked worriedly.
“If I tell her everything,, what will fill her head is revenge and that’s not what the baby needs.
There’s a life growing inside her, at a young age I lost my mom…don’t want someone else to experience it.” Michael said and left the area.
“That’s so..confusing” The doctor said and shook his head before leaving too.

THE BAXTER VILLA**
“That’s all what you’ve observed about her…you sure about that” Gael asked.
“Yeah,,, well that’s all what Myles told me” Ricardo said and sighed, leaning back.
“She’s really careful. We need concrete proof to send her to jail” Ricardo said.
Gael just chuckled and shook his head..
“We? Say you! As for me I’m just waiting for her make one more wrong move so I can send her to the rightful place she belongs…h’ll!” Gael said.
Ricardo looked at him and sighed. Gael told him all what he knows and honestly, he couldn’t believe it. Evelyn and Valentina are sisters!
“I got married to sisters! Valentina is my kids aunt… This life can’t be more messed up than this” Ricardo said making Gael chuckle.
“That’s just life for you. Look at me,,, never knew my daughter was under my nose” Gael said.
As if they heard it, Iris and Peggy entered while discussing.
“Oh..Ricardo! Never knew you came by” Peggy smiled.
“Good morning mother” Ricardo smiled.
“How you doing? And the kids? Heard thay Myles is now living with Evelyn,, the poor boy” Peggy asked, sitting beside Gael who placed his hand on her shoulder.
“Well yeah he is! He’s good though, the only person that worries me is Minnie. Ever since Valentina’s death, she hardly talks” Ricardo said.
“That’s sad” Iris pouted.
Peggy sighed sadly, missing Valentina so much. Gael rubbed her hand soothingly.
“I’m happy you two are finally together” Ricardo suddenly said.
“Oh..thanks” Peggy replied.
Ricardo nodded and smiled sadly.
“I miss you more at each passing day Valentina” He said inwardly.

RITA CARES**
“So tell me doc, what’s the gender of our baby?” Kristina asked, as she laid on the stretcher with her shirt, pulled up.
“A minute..” The doctor said.
Kristina smiled and she saw the echography on the screen.
“A boy! Its a boy right?!” Kristina asked excitedly.
“Yeah, it is…” The doctor smiled.
“Yay! I won hunny!” Kristina exclaimed.
“I wanted a cute baby girl but that’s okay,, so long as you’re the mother of my child then okay..” Logan smiled and kssed her cheek.
“Let’s name him Jordan” Kristina said.
“Wow! I already feel the basketball talent in him..Will surely be as handsome as his father” Logan said and wiggled his brows.
“And funny too!” Kristina laughed.
The doctor kept smiling, enjoying the love he’s seeing between this couple.
“If Valentina was here..she could have been his godmother” Kristina thought and smiled sadly.

SUNSHINE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL**
“Myles!” Leslie rushed to him with a smile.
Myles turned to her and smiled slightly.
“How was your weekend?” Leslie asked.
“Well you already know the song.. h©rrible” Myles said.
“Where’s my sister?”
“Oh well,, she is in class awaiting for the classes to begin” Leslie replied.
“Let me go and chat with her. Bye!” Myles waved and rushed in their class.
He met Minnie sitting on her desk, drawing something. He walked closer to her and sadness took over him when he saw she was drawing Ricardo, Valentina and them…
“Minnie” Myles called.
A drop of tear fell on the paper she was drawing on as her grip on the pencil weakened.
“I miss mommy,, I miss you,, I miss our family” Minnie muttered and teared up.
“Oh Minnie…” Myles pulled her closer and hugged her tightly, patting her back.
Their teacher who was watching them by the door sighed sadly, feeling pity for them.

THREE YEARS LATER**
“How dare you walk out on me when I’m talking to you!!” Evelyn yelled.
10 years old Myles rolled his eyes and carried his school bag then faced her with a mean look on his face.
“You should have think twice before taking me away from my family.. I won’t stop telling you this,, I hate you and will never consider you as my mom. My mom died 3 years ago” Myles spatted and walked out of the house.
He entered the car and the driver drove off with him.
Almost immediately he left, Emilia drove in and got off her car. She met Evelyn standing by the door, obviously furious.
“That brat!! If not for the fact I need him I could have disassembled him in various parts” Evelyn hissed.
“What’s wrong girl?” Emilia said coming to her.
“Nothing, just this nuisance I call son” Evelyn sighed.
“How have you been. And your short trip to Miami?” Evelyn asked.
“Oh it was cool…and yours?” Emilia smiled.
“Cool,, I just discovered that someone is ratting me out to Ricardo. What be tight the person when I’ll find him or her” Evelyn gritted her teeth.
Emilia gulped down nervously.
“Yeah..”
