“Tristan!!”
Tristan paused immediately as voice sounded in his earphone. His hand released the trigger and he stayed quiet.
“I know you can hear me. I know what you’re planning, don’t fucking do it” the voice sounded again.
Tristan sighed. It was his older brother’s voice.
“Why the heck are you ruining the fun?” He mumbled and looked back at Jolene who had got into her car and left.
Shit! He cursed inwardly.
“How many times do I have to tell you not to act out of order?” His brother’s voice sounded cold.
“You don’t get to give me order” Tristan rolled his eyes.
“Get over here and let’s talk. Don’t dare spill another blood. Nathan Redmond is enough” His brother said and Tristan couldn’t help but wonder why his brother became a bit soft.
Those who knows their secrets are them killed or joining them. Just like Issabella and many more. Why the hell is he letting Tatiana off the hook.
“Tristan, I’ll explain everything once you get here. Don’t spill any blood”
“Alright, alright” Tristan retrieved his gun and sighed. “I won’t… You better have a good reason”
Rowen who saw Tristan withdrawing and let out a sigh of relief. He watched the weird man all covered in black, packing his gun. He knew someone must have ordered him to stop, he couldn’t help but was glad the person interfered.
“How lucky” Tristan mumbled as he released Rowen.
“T.. thanks” Rowen stuttered.
Tristan stood upright. It was taking every nerves not to kill this man before him. Instead, he sent a hard punch on his face.

Jolene fidgeted on her seat as the cop before her worked on her system. Her father’s voice rang in her head and her worried added.
“When was the last time you saw your father?” The cop asked.
“Yesterday”
“Did he show any strange behavior before the disappearance?” He asked.
“We didn’t talk much. I didn’t notice…”
“Jo!”
Jolene’s head snapped towards the door hearing her father’s voice. She stood when he walked in.
“Rowen?” She mumbled and approached him. Worries blanketed her face seeing the wound on his face. “Are you alright?”
“Yeah I’m fine” he responded and touched his wound. “It’s nothing dear”
“You scared me. What happened? Describe the thieves and I’ll find a way to punish them and send them to jail” Jolene said and Rowen swallowed recalling the strange man in black words.
‘Mention this to anyone and I’ll rape your daughter before you and cut her piece by piece. You will watch every single scene cause I’ll tape your eyelids open’
Rowen only saw the man eyes and he knew he meant every single words. The man looks like a physcopath after all.
“I was attacked by street thieves. They were all wearing black. They wanted me to give them something but I had nothing so they decided to beat me” Rowen was glad he got punched on the face or else he won’t be believed.
“Can you describe them?” One of the cop asked.
“I’m sorry but, I have a terrible sight and they had their face covered”
“Ah, must be the Vipers gang terrorizing the street these days” Another cop mentioned.
“I guess” Rowen nodded.
“Are you sure?” Jolene asked and Rowen pretended to have some pain in his abdomen.
“I should treat the wounds” He said and Jolene nodded.

Rowen hissed in pain when Jolene applied some ointment on the wound on his face.
“Sorry” she whispered and he smiled.
She looked worried and at the same time angry. His daughter had grew up so well, he felt his heart swell with joy. He’ll do anything to make up for his years of disappearance.
Even though that night he left wasn’t entirely his fault.
“Were you really looking for a job?” She suddenly asked breaking the silence.
“Yes, I went to hustle and I met an old friend of mine. We talked for a while and he said he’ll get a good job for me”
“Hmm” Jolene nodded.
Rowen sighed. Gosh! He was so scared when the man in black made to shoot his daughter, and he hated himself for not revealing that bastard. But it is for the best, as long as his daughter is alive and well.

The death news of Nathan Redmond spread like wildfire. It was a news that shocked every Netizens to the bone.
It was said, his cellmates ganged up and killed him. Though they denied it but, their fingerprints were all over the knife used to end Nathan’s life.

That night, Tatiana laid on Cassius’s chest. She was quiet. Awfully quiet.
“Wifey, is something wrong?” Cassius asked lightly and she looked up from his chest.
“I don’t know. I just kept thinking”
“About his death?” Cassius asked and Tatiana slowly nodded.
“I feel like those men they claimed to had murder him didn’t do it” Tatkana guessed right.
“And?”
“It was my uncle Tristan. I hate that uncle. He’s physco I heard. I just have an urge he did it” Tatiana muttered and Cassius kissed her hair.
“Stop thinking about it. It’s all fine, for now” Cassius said.
“Hmm.. I just want to be with you and Dylan. My only family” Tatiana smiled.
Cassius recalled something and drew her closer.
“Rebel?”
“Hmm”
“My mother will be waking up soon” Cassius whispered.
“Really?” Tatiana’s eyes widened in surprised and happiness.
“Yes. The doctor called this afternoon. There was improvement. She’ll be back soon” he said.
“I can’t wait to meet her”
“Me too. She’ll definitely love you” he kissed her cheek and drew her back to his chest.

RISE OF RUBY, FINALLY RELEASED!!!
The media was totally on fire, the number of tickets sold in a day was a shock.
Director Felix felt this was like a dream. Never in his life had he thought he would achieve this. He did, and it was possible because of one person.
Tatiana!
This movie only took a few months to produce and it was beating some other movies that took a year or even more!
Tatiana eyes widened with shock getting to see so much people before the cinema, anticipating to watch her movie. Her face was covered since she was incredibly famous now. Getting recognized will catch a lot of attentions.
The truth is… She never expect the movie to hit this good.
“Congratulations, Wifey” Cassius said beside her. His face also covered.
It’s been a weeks they’ve been married. A week, they had spent at the beach villa. Just them and it was heaven. They wished it doesn’t end.
Cassius had already prepared a good spot for them, though it was among the crowd. He couldn’t miss his wife’s mind-blowing movie.
Tatiana bit down her lips. What a risk of her sitting among her fans. It was fascinating and overwhelming.
Crazy questions like… ‘What if they get disappointed at the end?’ struck her mind and she became nervous.
Sensing her nervousness, Cassius reached for her hand to hold. “It’s alrighty Wifey, they’re going to love it”
Tatiana smiled at the man who understands her without a word.
The movie began to play and total silence rented the place. Everyone’s attention was glued to the big screen.
Tatiana’s head turned to the other side and found a young girl around the age of 18 staring intently at her.
The girl blinked severally before whispered. “You’re Tatiana”
Tatiana was taken aback by her words. She was recognized even with her disguise!
Cassius titled his head to look at the girl.
The girl swallowed at the power he dominated. Just his eyes sent a chill down her spine. The man placed his index finger in his lips indicating her not to let it out. The girl nodded.
This man must be Tatiana’s secret lover. That excited her the more but she dares not speak because of his regal bearing.
“I’m a very huge fan” she smiled at Tatiana whose eyes crinkled at the corner indicating her smile behind her mask.
The girl looked back at her man beside Tatiana and swallowed. She wanted to ask for an autograph but didn’t know how to.
Tatiana understood her and offered her her palm.
The young girl smiled. “Thanks” her eyes beamed with so much happiness. She took out a pen and book and handed it over to Tatiana.
She took it after Tatiana had signed and kissed the book.
“Thanks” She whispered again and clutched the book to her chest.
Tatiana leaned to Cassius’s ear. “You scared the poor girl”
“She needed to” Cassius whispered back and they both returned their gaze to the screen.
While the movie was going on, Tatiana would hear the gasped of the audience as the thrilling scenes, the laughter at the funny scenes, the gushing at the romantic scene.
However Cassius wasn’t pleased at the romantic scene. Fucking Gavin. Thank God his character died in the movie.
They were all engrossed till the end. Even Tatiana and Cassius too. Tatiana finally concluded to a fact that she did an incredible job in this project.
The movie ended after two and half hours. The audience even waited to check the name.
The name that appeared wasn’t Tatiana Wallington but Tatiana Karen. Karen was her middle name.
She can’t use her new surname ‘King’ yet.
One of the audience suddenly stood and clap, other slowly join. As they did, Tatiana heart racing with esctatic. Her chest heave as he looked at Cassius.
He smiled and whispered. “I’m proud of you”
She bit her lower lip.
“You’ve gotten the success you crave for. It remain the status. How about you nominate for the best actress award?”
Tatiana’s face reddened.

“No fucking way! Did you see the amount that was made from just its release. Billions of dollars. Not even from only Australia. This is highest!” Jolene paced around Hudson’s office.
“Idol was right about you being such a drama Queen” Hudson stated as his eyes focused on the screen.
“Tssk… I wasn’t talking to you. Where’s Tatiana? I can’t be with a grumpy man like you” Jolene scoffed.
“Gr.. umpy?” Hudson lips parted.
The door opened and Jaxon stepped. His mouth opened to speak but not a word came out when his eyes met with Jolene.
He haven’t seen her in a week.
“Mister Jaxon!” Jolene exclaimed and bowed to greet him. “Nice to meet you again. How have you been?”
Jaxon didn’t reply instead he gave Hudson a questioning look.
“She’s here to see idol” Hudson said and Jaxon nodded and face Jolene who stood like a status.
‘Why does she have to be so cute’ Jaxon’s mind wondered. Shit! He had plan to avoid her since he was not a type that chase a woman. It should be the other way round.
He successful did avoid her for a week and now she was before him smiling. Freaking cute.
“Are you busy?” Jaxon found himself asking and Jolene blinked once.
“I’m waiting for Tatiana but I can help you with whatever you want if it won’t take time” she responded and and Jaxon swallowed.
Does she even know what he really want? She’d curse at him if she gets to find out what was running through his head at the moment.
“I was about to have lunch. I wanted to ask Hudson but he seems busy…”
“I’m not busy” Hudson blurted and Jaxon glared at him. This guy!
“Yes you are. Would you like to come join me Jojo?”
Jolene was dumbstruck. Not only did he want a mere assistant to join him for lunch but he also called her by her nickname.
“Uhm.. okay I guess” Jolene agreed with an awkward smile. She wondered what the man was up to.
As they left, Hudson eyes turned serious as he face the screen again. His idol just got to another level… She got a new enemy.
A famous actress from Crystal entertainment industry.
Jemima
Crystal entertainment company was well known for his resources and strict policy. It was even quite resourceful than Stardust company.
They produced many great airtist, among them was Jemima.

On her comfortable couch, Jemima drank slowly from her wine as she stared at what Tatiana achieved. Her movie and Tatiana’s was released on the same day
The shocking thing was, her movie didn’t make half of what Tatiana’s movie made.
How preposterous!
Jemima had thought a mere project done within a few months would never beat hers that was made for almost a year! She had persuade her team to release her movie and at the end, she got a slap on her face.
Tatiana Wallington or Karen.. whatever her name is, just crossed the line.
Every Jemima’s movie always make a hit and it becomes the talk of town but this year was different. An actress from nowhere stole the spotlight.
Of course Jemima knew Tatiana years ago, she wasn’t in the industry at that period of time. She had join when Tatiana left and had became famous. She even won the best actress award last year and was determined to win this year too.
But it seems she now have a competitor.
Her door opened and her male assistant, Wiley walked in.
“Ma’am” he called.
“And?” Jemima glanced over her shoulder.
“She isn’t signed to any company yet”
Jemima hold on her cup of wine tightened. She let out a deep breath. Tatiana wasn’t even signed. How in the world did she manage to pull it off.
“Okay. When is the best actress award?” She asked, her voice sounding rough than usual.
“In a month madam”
Jemima shut her eyes in annoyance.
“One more thing Ma’am. Tatiana was invited to the Crystal entertainment interview. It seems the company might even consider to sign her” Wiley added and Jemima cursed under her breath.
“And she agreed?”
“Yes” Wiley responded.
What sane artist won’t agree anyway? This interview aids many things. Exposition and status. An opportunity to get nominated in the award ceremony.
Jemima was to be interviewed too.. and now Tatiana?
Definitely, this woman didn’t do this on her own. She was definitely sleeping with some kind of powerful men in the industry.
One thing Jemima didn’t know was. Tatiana’s success was her capability. Cassius never used his power to help Tatiana’s status grow.
She did it herself!
“That means Tatiana would be sleeping in the provide hotel before the interview?” Jemima asked.
“Yes ma’am”
The interview starts by eight and the guests are to sleep in Starline hotel.
This might be a good opportunity to for her.

Wiley got the information, Tatiana wasn’t in her given room. He had asked some of his acquaintances to trace her. Though they haven’t given him feedback yet.
However, he on the other hand was going to search Tatiana’s room just go find what to use again her. She had settled in so it’ll be easy.
He got to open the room door and closed it gently. The room was dark and he can’t turn on the light to avoid suspicious.
He turned on his phone touch and began to search the drawer he sighted first. His fingers moving fast knowing Tatiana might be here anything soon.
He suddenly heard someone cleared his throat. A man.
A man!? His mind emphasized. Definitely, the man Tatiana had been sleeping with. But the fuck! This aura was definitely something else. Its regal bearing was choking.
Since he got something, there’s no need to stay any longer. He just need to inform Jemima about this.
He immediately ran to the door but his body collided with a hard chest that bounced him back…
What the…
He made to on the flash to his face but the man grabbed him by the neck like vice. His phone fell to the floor and the room turned dark again.
“Let me go” he squeaked and the man squeezed harder and slammed his back to the wall.
“Pl…ease d..on’t kill me…” He pleaded. Tears cascading down his face. He might die with the was gripped him.
Though he couldn’t see the face but he could feel the anger emitting from him and that sent a chill down his spine.
“An advice Wiley. It won’t take much effort to break your neck right now. I’ll release you just so you can tell that Bimbo bitch of yours….
