Chapter 7.
At the roadside, inside Sean’s car.
“Now listen carefully…” The man in a black hoodie and face mask said to sean.
Sean could only swallow, taking in some sips of breath.
He could feel his bI.ood rush to his head and make a spin all around his eyeballs.
Right now, he knew this was probably the end of his lifeline especially with this hoodie man with a loaded gvn.
Precisely, this man in hoodie was one of Vixen’s men.
He leaned forward and drew down his mask to whisper into Sean’s ear.
Sean could already feel his hot breath scorch through the skin under his ear.
“This is how Vixen wants this plan to be carried out. Very simple…you’ll go into her apartment and make it seem it was Xan’s plan along.” He said.
“I’m sorry but if this plan will require me hurting the young girl, I can’t possibly do it. I can’t destroy me boss reputation.” Sean said very politely.
The man ignited his trigger button, scaring the living ghost out of sean.
“Shut your trap and let me explain the plan to you before you begin to blab!” The hoodie guy yelled.
Sean quickly shaked his heads in agreement staring at the gvn in his hands.
His heart was dangerously pounding in his chest. He had never been scared to this extent in his entire life.
“Now. You’ll go into her apartment. You’ll grab her and tell her this things I’m about to say. After that, make her fall asleep.”

At Amy’s apartment,,
Amy was busy in the kitchen. She walked towards the fridge and picked up some cereals.
She shaked it and saw there weren’t much content inside it any longer.
“Gosh. I’ve ran out of food when I won’t be receiving salary in the next sixty days. What are we supposed to do now, pinky?” She asked, turning around to look for her.
Pink instantly ran into the kitchen barking loudly.
“Someone is at the door?” Amy asked.
Pink left the kitchen and ran towards the livingroom. Amy followed her, reaching towards the door.
“Are you sure someone is out there?” She asked pink who in turn, barked loudly.
Amy placed her ear on the door and heard the sound of the doorbell.
She quickly picked a long mop stick and held it in her fist before pulling the door slowly.
Her face became very bright as soon as she saw sean stand there at her doorstep.
“Sean!. You came back!.” Amy heavenly rejoiced. The next person that crossed her mind was Xan!.
“Is Xan with you as well?” She asked, leaning to peek her head out of the door.
“Xan asked me to deliver a message to you. Please Come outside, I can’t come in.” He told her.
“Oh, sure…is it very important?” She asked, pulling in her flipflop slippers into her feet.
“Very..very” Sean replied.
Amy went out, wanting to close back the door but pink began to bark louder.
“Shh. Go back inside pinky, I’ll be back. Stop being a bad girl!” Amy sneered a warning finger at her before shutting the door close.
She turned around to meet Sean’s face again.
“So..what is it that Xan wants me to know about?” She asked as they climbed down the balcony.
Sean bit his lip, resisting himself from breaking down at that point.
He was supposed to capture her at once but he was finding everything difficult. His hands couldn’t even raise themselves up as well.
He was betraying his boss behind his back but he was doing this because he was inbetween life and de.ath.
At least, he has to accomplish the mission and live to tell the story to Xan.
“Actually, Amy. I didn’t come here to tell you any news” He said, his eyes darkening like an ugly valley.
“What do you mean?” Amy asked, looking up at him with confusion.
He quickly grabbed her frail arm and twirled her around so that she was now resting her back on him.
“Huh!. W..what are you doing. Sean!!” She yelled.
“Sorry. Amy. You have been so fooled. Xan and i have no good intentions towards you. You are such a coward, you should have listened to vixen.” He scowled, covering her lips tightly.
Amy cried, struggling to get his tight fist off her lips. Her eyes became very red and watery. she almost felt like her bones had become numb and melted.
“Xan has been good to you, huh?. Being the nice sweet CEO?. Sorry!. He only wanted to know your house to carry out his plan…haha. Such an empty brain like you!” Sean muttered.
He brought out the handkerchief and placed it on her nose. At once, the sour ingredients mixed into her system, weakening her the more.
Her heart became very heavy. She didn’t realise when her body began to slid down on its own lazily.
Sean quickly caught her and stared at her face for a while. Her face was very calm.
He had completed his deeds. He knew huge problems would arise sooner after this.
He picked her and threw her little body up on his shoulder before escaping freely down the road.
The rain had stopped at that time.
He pulled up the passengers door and dropped her at the backseat before taking a turn back to the driver seat.
“She’s asleep” Sean said, palming his face in disbelief. He didn’t realise he would do such a thing to that innocent girl.
“Good. Your life is now better secured.” The hoodie man said returning his gvn back at his pocket.
He picked up his phone and called Vixen, telling him that the operation went very smoothly.
Vixen told them where he would meet them and the man accelerated the car immediately.

Amy opened her eyes after the light rays got into the room.
She stared around the place she was in and saw that she was now in a fine looking room.
This wasn’t her room, she knew that. This meant only one thing- her dream was actually a reality!.
She sat up, trying to grasp how and when she got here but her whole bones felt like they had been screwed out of her skin.
She fell back, laying there and feeling completely numb.
The door opened and she turned her heads to see Vixen along with another strange, tall huge man in a hoodie.
They put on a smiling face the moment they saw she was awake.
Vixen gently plonked himself to her bedside and touched her head gently.
“Vixen?.” She was confused. Was this Vixen’s room or….
She held her head in pain. She didn’t know why her head had been working really badly very lately.
“I think she’s reviving slowly. Thank God I was able to save her on time” Vixen said to the hoodie guy.
The man smirked and nodded his head in acceptance.
“Vixen. Why am I here?. What happened?. Last night…I…I..it was a dream right?” She asked, her heart feeling heavy again.
“Amy. So much happened last night but I’m glad we both got out of it together” Vixen said, locking his hands with hers.
“Xan was a beast last night. He almost tried to kll you. He had sent Sean to kidnap you, don’t you remember?” He asked.
Amy blinked her eyes. Everything last night happened really fast. They all began to input into her head and she could remember everything.
“It was true?. Xan wanted to kll me?” She asked, her brows bent with so much worry.
“I know you wouldn’t believe me, Amy. But for this once, you’ve seen it with your own eyes. Xan is really dangerous. I tried to warn you but you followed love instead.”
Amy face fell. She loved Xan. She didn’t know why this was happening.
She was finding it hard to believe this. Xan wouldn’t want to kll her, would he?
Of course, everything that happened last night wasn’t a dream. She saw how sean threatened her.
She heard all his scary words. She knew he deeply meant it from the way he told her.
She palmed her face, sobbing silently.
“I’m such a coward!. Why was I so dumb to have believed he was the good one!” She wept.
Vixen crawled closer and rubbed her shoulder gently.
“Don’t worry amy. I know this is too much for you to take in but I’m right here beside you and believe me, I won’t do anything to hurt you. The only thing I want you to do right now is to stay completely away from Xan.” He said and looked at her eyes.
“When I mean stay away from him, I mean…show and treat him how much pain you feel right now. Make him understand that he can’t mess with your heart. Right?”
” Right!” Amy sobbed, shaking her head.
