UNDER THE RAIN OF LOVE : CHAPTER 1 – 10

Chapter 9.
Anna stared at the mirror blankly. She palmed her cheeks smiling at her reflection.
She was glad that her awful face and big red nose was finally gone.
She remembered how she had soaked her whole body in the bathtub, crying continuously till no tears could crawl out of her eyes again.
She didn’t understand the reason for her tears. But she knew she felt very sad, sort of heartbroken.
Her instict was ready to be strong now. Ready to live her life just the way it had always been, with vixen.
She was ready to push the thought of the ‘heartless’ xan away from her head and fall in love with the one who saved her, and who truly cared.
Now, she was dressed in a jean short that exposed her straight, white legs and she wore a white crop top that had a red love signature on the frontier.
She picked her black cover cap and wore it above her pony tale hair before dashing out of the room.
Her routine that day was to go to the mall and get some dog groceries for pink and then return home to spend the rest of the day with vixen.
She stepped into the livingroom, halting to a stop. She laughed, covering up her lips in mimicry.
It was because she met him playing with pink, laying flat on the bare marble floor.
” Vixen!. Why are you doing like a two year old who’s fond of dogs?” She asked, stepping forward to meet them.
Vixen quickly sweeped up on his feet, dusting his shirt. He stretched out his long arm, yawning loudly.
” Because you made me bored by leaving me out here alone. So i decided to look for a playmate.” he said.
” Well I’m glad you are not allergic to dogs like your so called brother.” She laughed again.
” Xan..pst… that dude is always allergic to everything. Soon, i know he’ll be allergic to girls.” He said with an eviI smirk on his lip.
He picked Amy hands and took her towards the sofa before he sat on the handrest. He drew amy closer to stay inbetween him.
” Amy…” He called her name sexily, making it seem like the words were drooling.
He slowly slide his hand to grab her waistline and used his other arm to palm her cheeks gently.
” You look really pretty. I’m glad your face looks much better than how it was an hour ago. I know it would take some time before you forget about loving xan, but please…” He said.
She lowered her gaze, biting her lower lip. He was talking about xan again and she felt her heart squeeze together.
” Xan is only a devil to have tried to hurt me. I would never think of falling in love with him ever again.” She said and looked up at him.
Vixen smiled very satisfied. He knew he was the real d’vil. The one who risked everything to always cause trouble for them.
He felt really sad that he was the one causing her pain. He wished Amy could perhaps, love him genuinely too.
He sighed, palming both her cheeks.
” Where are you going to dress like this. Are you trying to impress me?”
” Are you saying i dress unfashionable sometimes?” She asked.
” Averagely true” Vixen said nodding his head.
Amy angrily sticked out her tongue and scattered his front hair and made it look like a bed nest.
He laughed, grabbing her wrist to stop her actions.
” Fine. Where are you probably going?”
” To the store. I want to get some groceries for pink.” She said, pulling his hands off her face.
She began to move out of the door with vixen following her behind.
” I’m sure you want me to stay back and watch over the house till you’re back?” Vixen asked.
” I promise not to be too long.” She said, palming her hands together to plead.
Vixen sighed, pocketing his arm.
” A kss, first?” he smirked, patting his red thin lips.
” Do i suppose to do that before i go?”
” Or i might carry you up and do it roughly with you then” Vixen grinned.
Amy eyes formed wider. She wouldn’t want that to happen at all.
She meekly leaned up and kssed his long nose quickly.
” Ba!. Bye!!” She ran away, turning back to look at him.
Vixen smiled staring at the puppet vanish away unscathed, he wished to have tasted those rosy lip of hers.
He didn’t plan to fall in love with amy, but he could feel the feelings already building rocks in him slowly.

….
EVENING.
Amy was happily walking out of the mall store with her hands full of dog item in both bags.
The day was already turning dark and Amy was left to walk alone down the cold lane.
Her arm was very cold making all her skin hair form erected. Her lips had become dry, white and chapped.
She looked up and saw that the clouds had turned deep blue with dark scary clouds hovering them.
She had already noticed that the presence of rain was coming by.
Amy witnessed a light blinking from behind her. It was a moving car.
She became very scared, thinking it was some robbers because she had heard robbers attack people in this lane at night.
She bit her lips hard, feeling her heart thump loudly in her chest. Her body began to panic with fear as the car approached her closely.
” Oh geez!. Lord!” She mused.
Her steps increased, and she didn’t realise when she started to run.
The light stooped off immediately making Amy to halt in her steps.
She realised the person might not have been a robber to have not chased her.
She allowed her feet turn around as she waited for this ‘stranger’ being. The door opened, filling her eyes with wonder.
Xan!!. Her head felt like it would burst open.
” haah…wrong girl!. Wrong girl!” She said, turning away to run and escape for her dear life.
The kller was back again for her. This time she knew he wouldn’t spare her. Why was fate bringing them back together!.
” Amy!. Stop!” His hoarse voice startled her and she found her feet obeying his orders, halting immediately.
Her face screwed up and her eyes shut close as she heard his footsteps march closer to her.
She Knew this was it. The end of her life. This mon$ter wouldn’t stop going after her.
He would stab her from behind…right there…and then.
” Amy.” His voice was deep and hot, sending her shoulder to shudder slightly.
She shut back her eyes open like it was being forced to, and she saw the tall figure of his shadow behind her.
His cold arm trailed on her shoulder line and Amy could only stiff her bones together.
She didn’t know that she held her breath physically while he did this.
” It’s not really safe for you to be out here in the cold road, little fella. Don’t you know the risk?”
” It’s not your business, Mr xan. I walk wherever i want to. And why do you keep following me around like a pet?!” She shot back, turning to face him.
” I am not following you around, miss. It only happened that we meet coincidentally.”
” Well it better we don’t meet coincidentally anymore cus i hate seeing your horrible face!” She yelled.
” Well, I’m glad to have found your face today, Amy, but i still want to warn you about vixen”
” I’m not ready to hear you accuse your brother again for what you did!. I would say it a hundred time, stay away from me!. I hate you, i don’t ever want you!!”
He grabbed her fist and pulled her closer to himself, grinning darkly at her scowled face.
” I want you to really pay attention to me right now. Like, open your deaf ears and dumb brain and listen!. I might not know what vixen told you to have made you hate me.
But i won’t blame you for believing whatever he had told you, afterall, so many had also fall into his traps too.
I guess he’s doing this just to make my life more miserable. But i guess you won’t understand what going on between the two of us because you are just a new bie!”
” Yes. I care less of what happened between the two of you. All i know is that, you are just behind everything. Being evil, same time being cunning!” She blurted.
“I’m not going to stop and just watch him do what he likes to you, Amy. He’s the evil one here.
Just let him know that..I’m going to pay him back according to every bad he did. I’m going to be that monster he has referred to me as.
Sigh’…i just hope you realise he’s being the devil and he’s only trying to….obstruct our friendship.
I wish i could protect you from him cus i never got to protect others. But you are being very stubborn, Amy!. You don’t want to listen!”
” Let me go!” She tore her arm from his grip, stepping a feet away.
” I never pay attention to trash!. I will never be a coward to believe anything you say. I’m no longer an empty brain xan. No one fools me this time around into believing a lie!”
” Fine!” Xan said bitterly.
He curled his lower lip into his mouth thinking of how to convince her, away from this timing danger.
He knew no matter how many times he knocked some senses into her head, as far as she was under vixen’s influence, she would never listen.
” Fine. You can go ahead and do whatever you wish!. Love him…care for him. But don’t say i didn’t warn you!”
” And don’t ever come back for me again!” She trailed.
And like that, he strided back into his car and she picked her groceries running home without turning back.

The next day….
XAN’S OFFICE
Xan was reading some heaps of files when he heard the door shift open.
He looked up and saw it was Vixen trotting in very randomly. He quickly stumped the papers close, leaning up from his chair to glare at him.
” i never asked for unwanted visitors!. Kindly leave my office” Xan yelled.
” This remains our office, Xan. You keep forgetting. Such a coward!” Vixen laughed, playing with some pieces of furniture.
” Well i guess you have no any idea that this is my company and i can sack you if i want?” Xan bvtted.
” You are forgetting something, xan. This is dad’s company which we inherited. So since it fathers own, you can’t sack me out” Vixen said proudly.
” Oh. Is that so?”
Vixen laughs.
” Do you know what is more funny, big bro. You keep replying me with questions and i keep shooting you back with good responses. Haha..” He said.
Xan sighed, leaving his seat to meet him.
” What did i ever do to you, vixen. Why do you keep threatening my life and making it very miserable!.”
” Ha!. He finally asked!!” Vixen exclaimed, laughing harder.
” Sorry but, I don’t reveal gift until they are good enough to be seen. I’m not finished with you, xan. When I’m done, then you’ll realise yourself what you did.”
Xan tightened his fist and threw a dirty glare at vixen.
He began to walk out.
” Wait. ” Vixen stopped him.
Xan stopped without turning to look at him.
” I want Amy to join us in our apartment from now on. I want her to live more close to me
