CHAPTER 22
Amy pouted her lips as she stared up at him. She walked towards him and stood at his front until there was no inch left among their bodies.
” I’m very confuse, Xan. I…i..don’t know who to choose and who not to. I feel like you both are inncocent.”
He held her shoulder, leaning to her height.
” Remember what i said to you. Who does you heart seeks for?” He asked.
Amy stared at him for a while and stared at the door that just bursted open.
It was vixen. She quickly stepped away from xan fearfully.
” There’s no confusion in love, Amy. You fail to understand the technique” Vixen’s voice rang out as he stepped towards them.
‘So he had been there hearing our conversation, even the kss part.’ Amy thought childishly.
Vixen stopped and turned her around, making her face him.
” Amy. There is still time for you to make amends. I know this might sound really childish but, You need to choose between whom you love more.” He said.
” Who i love more?” She asked, turning to stare at xan who was behind her.
Vixen pulled her chin to turn back at him.
” Is it me, your childhood love. The man who fulfilled your vows truly. The man who never fell in love until fate made his part for us.
The man who protected you against bully and gave you courage. The man who gave you your first kss and loved you till the very end?” He asked, forming a smile
Amy returned the smile back at him, her head began to replay those past moments with him.
Then vixen turned to stare at xan.
” Or Is it xan, your bvlly in highschool, The man who almost klled you. The man who didn’t apologise until today. The man who claims he’s change but will do more than this later on.” He asked.
Amy blinked as she turned to stare at xan. She found him shutting his eyes tight as he sighed.
” Vixen. What the heck are you saying?” He asked, opening his eyes as he turned to look at him.
” I’m just saying the true fact. There’s nothing great to speak about you.” Vixen shrugged his arm.
Xan turned to Amy and held her shoulders firmly.
” Amy. I’m not the same guy you knew as a bvlly back in highschool and it’s not a must you fall back in love with the person who gave you a first kss. Who does your heart seeks for, that what’s matters most” He asked.
She looked at him with wide eyes, just wandering her balls at him nervously.
Her mind was beating faster when xan was around her, speaking directly at her with his eyes pinned on her pupils.
Right now, she could feel her adrenaline run high as they lean so close to each other.
” I..i…” she looked away, staring at vixen who was leaning somewhere else on the table.
He seemed not to be concerned, fully aware that she would choose him after all he had said.
Amy sighed, pouting her lips as she looked away from him as well
” I…i..love…vixen.” she said, as tears ran down her eyes like gold lining.
Vixen sighed, closing his eyes with gladness as he stared at the roof.
That word alone had awaken his spirit life.
Xan stared at her so shockingly as if he couldn’t believe his ears.
He wished he could remote back to the past and replay what she said.
” Vixen?. You choose…vixen?” He whispered as he stared at her.
She swallowed, looking away from his face.
” I’m not done yet.” She said and xan pressurised face melted immediately.
Vixen looked down at her, utterly speechless as xan was before.
” I love vixen. But i also love xan too. But i don’t want any of you.” She said.
The two men stared at eachother for a while, then back at her.
” What do you mean?” Vixen asked, coming closer to them.
” I’m confuse because i love both of you. I can’t leave you over another. I can’t love one over someone else. So I’ve decided to let go and return home just to make things better.”
” Return home?. No. Y..you can’t leave. Not now…” Xan said, holding up her wrist.
” Please don’t stop me, xan. No one should stop me please. You guys said i should make my choice. This is my choice, To leave.” She said, pulling xan wrist away.
” You guys have a side story to back up the incident that makes you evil towards me. I’m sure if i had choosen, xan.
Vixen might start up another endless war. And if i had choosen vixen, xan might make everything possible to end our friendship.
You two are just dvils and angels at the same time. I prefer going back home and living a normal life until the right time comes.” She said.
She walked to vixen and cupped his cheek.
” Vixen. You did alot for me. I’m happy that we met again but I’m sorry i….”
” It’s okay. I will…understand.” He said, looking like a drentched kitten.
” Thank you.” Amy smiled and placed a short fast kss on his lip.
She stepped towards xan and stopped infront of him.
” I love you to xan. But I’m sure there are other girls you could love more than me. Thank you for confessing your feelings.” She said
Xan grabbed her in, hugging her tight.
” Please don’t leave yet, Amy. Not when I’ve decided to accept love…i might break down..” he whispered.
” This is my choice. I’m sorry.” She said and let go of him.
Xan sighed pocketing his arm. She stared at both brothers for a while before running up to her room.
The two men stood there, unable to determine what next to do again.

LATER THAT DAY.
Xan and vixen were in the dining room, having their lunch.
Vixen was heavily piling himself on his meal because he had been busy fghting with gvns and taking revenge.
Now, all he wanted to do was eat and regain his strength.
Xan, on the otherside, was lost in his own realm of drastic world.
Vixen stopped and stared at him.
” Xan. Xan!.” He ended up tapping the table to get his attention.
Xan shaked his heads in realisation and looked at him.
” I’m sorry. I…i….what were you telling me again?” He asked, looking confused.
” What are you busy thinking of?. Look at the cereals in your plate, they are melting.” Vixen said.
Xan stared at it and pushed it aside before folding up his arm.
” I lost my appetite already.” He said.
” Second time in a roll?. Do you want to be compared to a stick?” He asked.
Xan sighed, dropping his head.
” You don’t understand.” He said
” I understand that’s it Amy. I feel sad too but i just don’t know how to express my sadness physically. Deep down, i really wish she could stay.” Vixen said.
Vixen rubs his head affectionately and pushed his chair closer.
” She’s gone now. We both feel hurt but that doesn’t mean the end of our life right?”
” Yeah. you’re right” Xan smiled, and give him a notch on his fist.
Vixen picked out some cereals from his plate and dropped it in his.
” Eat this. Gain some strength so we could run upstairs and go fight cobo” he said.
Xan laughed, nodding his head.
” You know i always win you in that game.” Xan said.
Vixen held his chin.
” Yeah. Last time, i think i lost the bone inbetween my legs.”
” And one of your teeth too.” Xan said.
” Yeah. Thanks alot for reminding me.” Vixen sneered angrily.
Xan chuckled and continued on his meal.
” Remember we skipped office today.” Xan said.
” Na. We could resume fully next week. You know, until we recover from our breakup feeling.” He said and they both ended up laughing.
They stopped and looked back at eachother with an appeasing sigh.
” I missed this old days, vixen. Don’t you think it feels much better we behave like this from now on.” Xan asked, smirking.
” Gross. I actually loved part we used to exchange dark glances and have revenge all day.” He said.
Xan continued back on his food without saying any more word again.
Vixen pvnched his arm playfully.
“My serious big brother” he chuckled.
