Chapter 37.
Mrs qin tripped into the office, using one of her arm to jam back the door.
Her first gaze landed on xan, who was putting on a white shirt that was folded halfway in his arm and a nice pant that fitted his long sxy legs.
He was leaning on the doctor’s table with Amy standing infront of him.
Both of them were staring at her like they had seen the shock of their lives.
Mrs qin jotted her neck, she was suprised to see xan.
” Xan?” She called, utterly confused.
She was just too lost in awe to meet him unharmed and hearty.
Wasn’t he the same xan whom she had called thugs to bleed him till he rots apart the other time?
How come he looks so good than the previous time.
She swallowed that fact and decided to act unaware of her doings.
” How come you are here?” She asked xan, holding her waist.
Amy turned her head to look at xan. He, in turn, lowered his eyes and struggled to talk until mrs qin rushed to Amy.
” What real result papers were you rattling about?. Does that mean i was given a fake one?” Mrs qin asked.
” Uhhh?. No.” Amy quickly shaked her heads, swimming in a pool of guilt.
” What’s no?. What’s that in your hand?” Mrs qin pointed.
” This?” Amy looked down at the papers in her palm as if she was seeing it for the first time and she gulped down nothing.
She stared up at Xan’s eyes, wandering around his pupil as if silently asking him if she could present the result to her.
Xan heaved a sigh, taking his gaze away. She began to troop towards mrs qin but xan instantly held her wrist.
He turned to mrs qin.
” There’s nothing for you to see in the paper. This is just between the two of us.”
” Something like what?. Wait. Does that mean you guys hiding something from me?.” She asked.
Amy held up Xan’s wrist as she raised her chin to face him.
” Let’s show her, Xan. We can’t hide it forever. I’m sure one day she’s gonna figure out. Let that day be today.” She said.
” Are you for real?” He asked, squinting his brows as he stared at her daringly.
She got puzzled for a while. Many ‘what if ‘ thought began to trip in to her mind.
She shaked the thought away and insisted on showing Mrs qin the result.
Xan sighed deeply and took the papers from her. He stretched it out to her mother.
Mrs qin picked the papers with interest as she unfolded it. She bored her whole life and attention into that single paper.
Whereas, the two couples were still lost, looking at eachother’s eyes as if reasoning the same thought.
The curious old lady looked through the papers and finally, but slowly, her eyes scorched into a circle.
” Lord!. Good Heavens!!” She immediately screamed, jotting the other two wheels back to reality.
She looked at Amy with huge bulged eyes.
” Amy!. Don’t show me this!. This can not be the real result. You can’t be pregnant!” She yelled.
” You can see for yourself, mrs qin. She’s pregnant. And, she’s carry…my baby.” Xan forumed, like he was reading a sweet poem to her.
Mrs qin smiled sarcastically, forging her lips into a blunt pout.
” So you!. You had the gut to proudly say she’s pregant after ruining her!. You pulled out that stinky dk into my daughter.”
Xan shut his eyes close as he threw his head away, his adam apple lined up, forming like rock on his throat.
” Mrs qin. I told you earlier. You can’t do anything about it. You have to accept the fate.” Xan muttered under his breath.
” Shameless fool. Look at you. Accept what fate. I Forbid any sort of Xan coming into my daughter’s life. It can’t happen. And you_” she turned to Amy.
” You’ve finished me!. You’re totally a mess now. What am i supposed to do with you!” She yelled.
Amy lowered her face as she used the back palm to clear the tears off her chubby cheeks.
” What’s the usefulness of calling you my only child. You’ve totally hurt me, Alicia. What am i…” she paused and sat down on a chair, sighing loudly.
Xan leaned up from the chair, throwing his hands into his pocket as he walked up to her.
” Mrs qin, It’s good enough we are all here. You can give us your blessings so i can take her and get her married and then everyone can live in peace” He said.
” Fk the h’ll and hold your peace!” Mrs qin yelled and stood up, ready to slap him.
Amy quickly sweeped inbetween their bodies, stopping her mom’s actions by raising her arm in surrender.
” Mom, please!” She begged while xan remained still, his fierce face unchanging.
Mrs qin crumped her lips as she fell her hands down. She turned to look at Amy.
” Alicia. You are never keeping that baby!. You are not!, read my lips!” She yelled.
Amy slowly dropped her hands too as she stared at her kindle mother.
The doctor came in at the same time and mrs qin didn’t waste a time to rush down to him.
” You!. Arg!. I Just realised. So you are part of these two fools who are planning to fool me right?. You gave me a fake result thinking i wouldn’t figure out. Huh?”
” Cool down, please. This is a clinical hospital, not a psychiatric hospital” The doctor said.
Mrs qin gr.abbed his collar, boring her wrinkled pale face at him.
” Don’t make me show you how mad i can be. Hear me?!. Do me a favor and do away with that bstard baby.” She pointed.
” What baby?” The doctor asked.
” Which baby do you call bstard?” Xan was already flaring up in his nose, but gladly, Amy held him still.
” Mom!” Amy turned to meet her. She had taken enough.
She walked up to mrs qin and took her wrist off the doctors collar.
” Mother. I’m not doing away with our baby!. I’m going to carry this baby and you’ll become a grandma, like it or not!.”
” Don’t make me disown you and your already dead child!.” Mrs qin muttered.
Xan stepped out, making Amy stand behind him. He had lose his cool.
” Mrs qin. Aren’t you suppose to listen to yourself. Is this actually the best you want for your daughter. I don’t even think you deserve to be her mother!”
” I am her mother and i want the best for her. This is the least i can do for you Amy, take it or leave it. You are carrying a huge forbidden baby and I’ll cut it off by all means.”
Amy decided to step into the scene too.
” You can say all you want mom. But this baby will stay. For Godsake, What else do you want me to do for you?” She asked.
Mrs qin settled down, heaving for breath she failed to suck in the whole time.
” Amy. What did i tell you in the first place?. Did i not warn you not to get pregnant for xan. Oh, you think i was joking. Good, just watch me.”
She turned to grab the doctor’s shirt again, this time pulling him closer to her chest.
” Doc. How much does it cost to do away with a baby!. Answer me!. I’ll pay, be it millions”
Amy turned to xan and held his arm protectively.
” Xan. Let’s get away from here. Take me away far away with you and never bring me back to this woman.”
” What did you say?!” Mrs qin yelled turning to meet her.
” You heard her right. She’s coming with me. Amy. Let just go.” Xan said, pulling her away with him.
Mrs qin held Amy’s wrist, stopping them in the process.
” Where do you think you are dragging my daughter to?!” She yelled at Xan’s face.
Xan broiled up.
” Home!. My home where she belongs. Don’t ever stop me from taking her. She belongs to me now.” Xan muttered.
Mrs qin arm was left to drop like a chick as she watched xan aimlessly drag Amy out of her presence.
The doctor helped them close back the door and finally strolled back towards her.
She stood there, gawling in shock until she finally loosed her kneel balance to fall.
She fainted.

XAN’S MANSION.
A huge motorbike drove into the Xan’s mansion. It was vixen and katrina was hugging him from behind.
Vixen dropped his leg, stopping his bike from moving any further before he took off his helmet. His wavy red hair fell off, descending on his straight jawline face.
He dropped the helmet on his bike stand and gently climbed down.
He quipped katrina in his full arms as she aimlessly fell on his hands.
