Chapter 53
The livingroom went into a pin drop silence as mrs qin walked into the room. Her face was with a smiley, motherly expression.
She made a stop infront of vixen and palmed her hands happily.
” Son, Thank you for inviting me over to your home. I don’t know where i’d be now without you. I’m very glad to be here.” She said and sneeked her head to look at mrs lewis who was folding her arms and tamping her feet.
She approached her as well.
” Um..madam. Thank you for…”
” Eish!. Thank you for what exactly. What are you doing here with your luggage bags. Are you coming here to spend a night?” She cut her off.
Mrs qin felt startled. She stared at the bags she had brought and looked back at her.
” What does it seem like to you. Do i look like someone who’s coming to do a sleepover here?” She asked.
Mrs lewis laughed, adjusting her long, sleek hair to the corner of her ear.
” i’m sorry mrs qin. It’s not gonna work for both of us. Two of us, under this roof….pstt…i bet if we survive.”
” I bet we won’t survive a night, mrs lewis. You are forgetting that this is my daughters home. I have every right to come here as i wish as far as she is now married to this family.”
” Are you also forgetting my ‘son’ owns this home too?” Mrs lewis asked and katrina gave a noticeable mockery cough behind her.
The two women turned their heads to look at her and katrina shrugged her shoulders as she questioned a look at them.
Mrs lewis turned to face mrs qin again, scowling a terrible face at her.
” I’ll advise you to take your bags and look for somewhere else to sleep” she yelled.
” There’s no way i can leave here, mrs lewis. As far as my feet is here, my soul and spirit is here even in your dreams and nightmare” She said.
Mrs lewis gawped in shock and started to boil in her ears as she took a step over to vixen.
” Tell her to leave our home. Tell her we can’t accomodate rags like her!” She yelled, pointing her hands at the woman.
Mrs qin stood firm and with a hard face, caring less about vixen decisions towards her.
Vixen sighed and pocketed his arm as he tried to speak but Katrina held him still.
She folded arms under her breast and matched forward towards mrs lewis in bravery.
” If I’d tell anyone to leave, it’s gonna be you, mrs carrot head. You said it that you won’t cause trouble but that’s exactly what you are doing right now.”
” You all are lucky that i haven’t pick up a fight with anyone. Cuz I’m only trying to maintain my cool.” Mrs lewis sneered.
” Before you go through anyone, you’ll go through me first.” Katrina muttered and slightly pushed her chest before walking over to mrs qin.
She picked up her luggages.
” I think you need somewhere to rest your head now, mrs lewis can be a hell of an headache. Follow me.” She said.
” Thank you so much, dear.” mrs qin said and followed her upstairs. She stared at mrs lewis with an acheiving smirk on her face as she matched her way upstairs.
Mrs lewis turned to look at vixen.
” Can you hear them, Son!. They insulted me right in my face. You brought in brat who were not home-cultured!. Do they know who they are dealing with?!” she asked as her lip got curled in her mouth.
Vixen leaned his face closer to her that she could almost feel his breath scorch through her skin.
” Change mom, change!.” Vixen muttered and walked out of her too.

INSIDE A BEDROOM.
” You will be sharing a room until the other ones are fixed in the morning.” The maid said dropping mrs lewis luggage at the side of her bed.
” You mean I’d share a room with her. This ugly big thing…” Mrs lewis pulled a face, pointing at mrs qin who wa sitting up on her bed.
” You should rather prepare a space for her in the corridor outside.” Mrs qin said to the maid.
Mrs lewis scoffed and sent the maid to leave while the other woman shaked her heads and returned back to the book she was reading.
She plonked herself on the bed, staring around the room in awe.
It was a wide bedroom that contained two large beds at opposite sides but one wardrobe and toilet.
She took off her heels and walked up to the large wardrobe at the corner. Opening it up, she was greeted with Mrs qin stuff inside.
She scoffed and angrily walked back to carry her luggage, dragging it back towards the wardrobe.
She shifted mrs qin cloth to a side in a rumpled way before fixing her luggage bag inside.
Mrs qin saw what she did and hastily stood up with anger.
” How dare you do that to my dresses!” mrs qin yelled.
” When you were brought inside this room, did they do not tell you you would get a partner?”
” So?. What’s all this mess for?. Can’t you just arrange yours to a side without getting mine rumpled.” she asked.
” Fine. I’d avoid more of your troubles here.” she said and placed her bag ontop of mrs qin clothes.
Mrs qin scoffed and took her bag, throwing it aside.
” Homeless bch, woman!. Can your daughter ever afford my bag!” Mrs lewis screamed.
” Tell your son how to practise orderliness and manners. Look at what you did to my clothes. Like for what?” Mrs qin brought up her shoulders.
” Thank God I’m with a key. I’ll lock up this wardrobe and don’t come back begging me for what to wear tomorrow morning. You can walk naked if you like” Mrs lewis said and locked up the wardrobe.
She head towards her bed with her bag and slumped on the bed.
” When you ready, you will open this wardrobe by yourself.” Mrs qin hissed and laid on her bed to continue reading.
Mrs lewis threw off her dress and wore a pajamas before turning off the light to sleep.
” Were you blind enough to see that i was reading a newspaper article?” Mrs qin yelled in the dimness.
” I don’t understand people like you who read in the night instead of day.” Mrs lewis.
Mrs qin stood up and flashed the light on. Mrs lewis sat up, squinting her eyes angrily.
” There’s a lampshade on your table, use that instead!” Mrs lewis yelled. Mrs qin turned on her lampshade and continued flipping her book open.
” Are you an id!ot!. Huh?. The bulbs?. Turn off the bulb now!” mrs lewis ordered.
” I’m not a child that you will order me around. if you can’t sleep in brightness then go turn off the light yourself.” She yelled and mrs qin fell out of the bed.
” Let’s wait until tomorrow morning!. I’ll show you the other color i have!” She yelled, walking out of the room.
” What other color do you have except from being white like snow. Mctw!” Mrs qin hissed and continued her work.
