Chapter 54
MORNING? BEACHSIDE
Amy stepped out of the house and palmed her cheeks in suprise. So this was the suprise xan was talking about all night.
She was just short of words and all she wanted to do was to run towards it quickly. It was a small boat waiting for her at the seashore alongside her husband, xan.
He waved his arm to grab her attention and she quickly ran towards him, hugging his broad chest in the process.
” A boat!. I’m so excited!” She yelled.
” I’m glad you like your suprise. I changed my mind about surfing since that’s is quite dangerous.”
” Anything you choose, I’ll gladly go for it.” She smiled.
She jumped inside the boat and xan followed suit. He took the paddles and began to roll it out of the sand.
Amy looked around sea with so much interest and she saw how empty and sad it was. She turned back to look at xan.
” Xan are there sharks or other dangerous animal beneath this?” She asked.
Xan saw the fear in her eyes and he could only laugh.
” My little fruit is scared.” He grinned.
” Wait. Do you still call me by that nickname?” She asked, bulging out her eyes.
” Yeah. The name suits you alot.” He grinned louder.
” Shut up, icy king.” She yelled at him. ” You know, you really look like those heartless fantasy anime”
” Is that what you think?”
” Yeah, they are usually tall, broad chest, thin jaw, de.adly eyes, ink dark hair and thin lips. You have it all.
I suppose you a real life carbon copy of them.” She laughed and xan could merely see anything funny in it.
” We are leaving here tomorrow.” He said.
” Tomorrow?” She blinked.
” Yes, you’re sad?” He looked up to face her.
” Xan. Why don’t we just start living here?” She asked and xan laughed loudly.
” i rented this whole beach for three days alone, baby. We can’t stay here because people would still come over to swim and have fun.” He said and she pouted her lip.
” But, can’t we have a place to live that looks exactly like this.
Somewhere away from the troubles of the world. Somewhere that is meant for just two of us alone to live happily ever after? ”
” Are you talking about the paradise in heaven?” He grinned and she pushed his arm playfully.
He breathed in a sigh and stopped paddling.
” I would love to stay in such a cool place but don’t you think i have to work to earn money that will spare us and our kids.”
” Yeah, yeah. I never thought about that. But vixen can handle the office stuff, right?.”
” I can’t leave vixen to handle my office stuff. That’s as risky as committing sui¢ide.” Xan said.
Amy kept mute for a while as she focused on ripples the water was making. Something crossed her mind and she quickly brought up her head.
” Can i still come to work as your pA.?” She nervously asked, rushing off the word.
Her heart began to beat faster as she looked at his stiff face. She remembered rejecting his job but here she was, begging to be one.
” The door is always widely open for you.” He said and Amy smiled as she blushed.
Xan stared at the water and saw they had gotten to a shallow place. He left the paddle, giving it to her.
” Your turn.” He said and Amy happily took it and started paddling fast, spinning them in a circle.
He directed her and made sure she wasn’t going too fast. After she had mastered it, he left hold of her.
Before she knew it, xan had dung himself into the deep blue sea. She got immediately startled. She went to the edge of the boat looking for him hopefully.
” Xan!. Hubby!” She yelled out, swallowing hard. She could only hear her voice echo
She realised she was in the middle of nowhere. Just the little wife, herself, and the boat.
Her eyes began to wet up.
” Xan!. Oh no. Where did you go!…” she sobbed. She was scared of dipping her feet into the water.
” Xan are you there!!” She leaned down as she made her arms swim inside the sea.
” Hey, beautiful..” Someone contoured from behind. She turned around in fear and was glad to have met xan leaning himself on the boat.
His wet hair had fallen over his face, making him look extremely hot.
” Xan..” she rushed to him and cupped his jaw dearly. ” Please don’t disappear like that. Please stay with me.” She begged.
Xan smiled and looked behind her only to find the beach waves coming by.
” Amy. Take the paddles!” He told her quickly.
” Huh?. Paddles?” She looked very confused.
” The waves!.” He yelled
Amy turned around and was welcomed by the most terrifying heaps of water she had ever come across with
It was like they were tiny ant under the shade of a water m®nster.
” Dmn it. Sht!” He cvrsed as he pulled amy out of the boat and began to swim swiftly back to the shore.
Before they could reach the shore, the water had capsized on them.
