Chapter 66
*NOON*BOARDROOM.
Amy is going around the gigantic room. Everyone is silent as they stared at her.
” The boss is hosting a party for the succession we achieved so far in the company after getting a million dollar contract” Amy said.
The whole staffs burst their arms into an applause, causing a smile to appear on Amy’s cheek.
Xan told her she would speak today to the audience and she had been making some silly stage rehearsal with katrina.
Right now, being the center of attention with her sweet spoken voice, she felt like the star of the day.
Talking to crowds now was feeling much easier than she had thought.
” It would be hosted at the popular five star hotel and each staff will be given a ticket to get in, just for security purpose.” She said and the crowds began to mumur about the popular five star hotel.
It was owned by the royals and only rich influencing people came to host their party there.
” Ahem!” She coughed, clearing the noise. ” It’s a formal party not a club house. Everyone must be dressed in their dinner gown and cocktails suit.”
She stopped moving around and she faced the audience.
” Any questions concerning this party?” She asked and not even a cricket sounded.
” Okay, for the final announcement. Our boss here, the director of this company, is having his wedding going on this Sunday.” She said with a smile.
Everyone clapped again. This time there was joy in the air, splendour and amusement.
Amy turned to look at vixen with a smile but he returned it with a sad, heartbreaking frown, lowering his head to look at his papers.
She threw a concerned look at him and curled her lips up. Xan squeezed his eyes at her, noticing the tension going on between the two.
He stood up, placing his hand behind his back.
” So that’s all for now. You can all return to your duties. I wish you guys, goodluck.” He said and everyone stood up from the chair, mummering with noises as they left.
Xan walked up to Amy and tapped her shoulder before walking past her. She looked at vixen one more time while following xan out of the room.
He arrived outside the boardroom and they took the stairs instead of the elevator.
” What happened to vixen. He jerked when you talked about his wedding.” He said as he casually stepped down the stairs like a prince.
” I…i…don’t know what happened either. He seems so off since morning.” She replied, pouting her lips up.
” I saw the way he looked at you. I didn’t like it.” He said and Amy paused in the stairs, staring at him in amusement.
She quickly rushed towards him to share the same walking pace.
” What do you mean by that?” She asked.
” I’m crazy right?” He asked with a deviIish smirk on his cheek.
” Are you trying to say you are jealous?” She asked.
Xan was the one to stop this time. He swooped his feet and turned to face her.
” What do you mean by jealous. There’s absolutely nothing to be jealous about. I just didn’t like the way he stared at you” He said.
” Fine. I don’t want to argue about anything” She rolled her eyes and walked past him.
Xan stepped towards her and grabbed her by her wrist, pulling her down the stairs.
She winced from pain of her wounded toe and before she knew, he was down in his office.
He took her in to his office, slammed the door and pinned her on it.
” Amy listen up. I don’t fall into jealousy but No one deserves to stare at you like that. It boils me up, especially if it’s vixen.” He said and Amy could only blink.
He pinched her chin.
” I hope you understand that you are mine. You are mine!” He said.
He slammed his lips on her, kssing her so deep and rough that Amy was failing to process her thought.
He stared at her eyes and his breath got stunted the moment he saw his wife sobbing silently.
” Amy..” He held her cheeks, forming a big frown.
She pouted her lips, shutting her eyes as the tears finally went down like ripples.
” You were so hard on me.” She said as she sobbed.
Xan grabbed her cheeks and gently kssed off the tears in her eyes.
” Dmn!. I’m so sorry. I was caught up in my emotion. I’m sorry sweetheart.” He said and kssed her eye again.
She sniffed and climbed down his body.
” Promise me you won’t be this hard again?” She asked and xan held his chest, promising her.
She rested her head on his chest.
” I love you.” She said.
” I LOVE you more than the daybreaks.” He said and kssed her hair.

Xan’s BEDROOM.
Amy walked into Xan’s room with a pillow on her waist. She smirked playfully.
” Mom said i shouldn’t sleep here. I should go to vixen’s room” She said stubbornly.
” There’s no space here. You can definitely Find somewhere else or go use the other rooms.” He said blankly while staring at the ceiling.
She threw her pillows on his head and xan laughed, noticing her prickly potty belly.
” The kids are maturing already?” He asked .
” I think so. I’ve never prayed for much. It seems like the doc was so wrong” She said rubbing her stiff hard belly.
She happily went to sit next to him in bed.
” Hubby. I can’t wait to go to tomorrow’s party.”
” Don’t worry, it’s gonna be legit.” He said.
” Do you think so?. This is my first official party” she said
” Congratulations then. You are going to love it, trust me.” He winked at her sxily, rubbing her belly and feeling his child.
” I’m glad your mom left. I don’t feel scared to spend time with you anymore. I feel more secured now” she said.
” I’m afraid she might come back. We need to be very careful now, especially with our numerous outing. My mom is a total green snake.” He said and Amy heaved a tiresome sigh
She stopped and palmed her stomach in pain.
” Ouch.” She winced.
Xan leaned up and looked at her perplexed. He pats her hair, kssing her lips faintly.
” Xan. My belly!” She wept out her sanity, crouching on her kneels.
Xan excuted himself down the bed and pets her back as she forced herself out of the bed.
” Do you need water. Or a massage. Does it hurt that much?” he asked feeling absolutely clueless.
His heart clenched and got hardened at the sight of her passing through same pain again.
” I want to poo. Poo!” She screamed.
She rushed into the toilet quickly and squatted and before she knew it, her second baby was down.
She stooped up on her shoulders and fainted on Xan’s body.
