Chapter 72
FINAL CHAPTER
In the livingroom….
Xan was made to sit up on the sofa as mrs qin fanned his head.
” Xan. Are you okay?.” She asked, carving her brows slightly as she stared at him.
Xan looked at no one in particular, his eyes feeling like they would shut down soon.
” My child…Amy.” He said, gasping for breath in a noisy way. He palmed his eyes and began to sob silently.
Mrs qin came along and rubbed his back gently.
” They will be fine, xan. Your wife is fine.” She said still fanning his head and rubbing him.
He didn’t say any more words again than to look at the empty space blankly. It was as if his brain was suddenly washed and he could think of zero thing.
” I hope you are fine now. Please look at me son. Say something, xan.” Mrs qin panicked as he remained stiff nodding his head at her words.
She saw that her pressure to make him talk was effortless. She sighed and sat next to him, holding his hands.
” Don’t worry, okay. The kids will be fine. I believe in Christmas miracle.” She said and xan slowly turned his head at her.
” Christmas miracle my foot!. I don’t believe in any miracle!. I don’t believe in any fate too!. This world is stupid, i hate everyone and everything on it. I hate that we were created!” He yelled in disgust.
” I understand the way you feel, xan. It’s hurt to see your own child dying right in front of your eyes. And then your wife effort to give birth is fruitless. I also don’t blame you for saying it tho but please, don’t overreact.” she begged.
” What do you expect i and amy to do after we loose our child?. Huh?. Continue the marriage or just go commit sui¢ide?. Which is the best choice.” He sternly asked, looking at her.
Mrs qin laughed.
” Son. ¢ommit sui¢ide?. Oh no, that’s way more stupid. Why would you think of that.” she asked.
” I really want to kll myself. I can’t…take this shit any longer, mrs qin. Please, just let me kll myself.” He turned to her, holding her palm.
Mrs qin shaked her heads. She didn’t know what to say to him again than to stare at his face randomly.
If xan was feeling this way because of his child, then Amy will feel worse. Hopefully, Amy doesn’t know her baby just died and she’s the mother.
That was going to be a big problem at hand now. And the load was all on her shoulder. She’s the one who created all this mess on her daughter’s head.
She sighed and folded her hand under her chest.
Mrs lewis footsteps began to head down the stairs catching the other two wheels attention.
” You guys should come up. She’s ready” she said and they both stared at eachother before standing on their feet to leave.

XAN’S BEDROOM.
It’s already Christmas morning. The city outside was bubbling with fireworks.
It’s been six hours now and Amy was still in heavy labour.
Mrs lewis and mrs qin knelt infront of her and joined hands to help bring the baby to life.
Amy screams and yells filled the room. She bit her lips and pushed hard, her stomach jerking with pain.
Xan was kneeling next to his baby cabin, watching the kid they claim was dead. The baby wasn’t moving any longer, he wasn’t breathing or passing through any life phase.
He was just there and xan didn’t know what to do with him. He didn’t want to bury his baby too soon.
He picked out his very small premature kid and rested him on his chest.
” My little romeo.” He said, rubbing the kids a$s gently. He picked up his blanket to cover up his nked skin against cold.
His gaze returned back to his wife. She was really strong and it’s been hours, she was still struggling and pushing.
” Push harder, Amy!.” Mrs qin was yelling. Amy sat up and curled her lips into her mouth, forcing the baby out in one go instantly.
Soon the baby was out and she collapsed back on the mattress, crying in pain.
” Finally, She’s done. It’s a girl!.” Mrs qin said joyfully. The baby was crying, she was glad that the girl actually survived it.
” At least, they were able to secure one child for themselves instead of none.” Mrs lewis chipped in.
” Yeah…” Mrs qin sadly said as she turned to look at xan.
Amy was totally unconscious of her environment but she could hear her baby cry loudly in her dreamland. A smile crept up on her cheeks but it disappeared instantly.
The baby’s cry reached the next room, waking up the couples in the next room.
As the baby kept crying, the one on Xan’s chest moved a little push and began to sob as well.
The two women thought it was katrina’s baby until they looked up and saw xan carrying his child.
He was as suprise as them, staring at the kid he thought was dead.
” W…what’s happening?” He asked feeling too confused of himself or the crying child.
Mrs lewis crumpled her lips dearly
” A miracle just happened. The baby was just sleeping all along, waiting for his twinny to come to earth.” She said.
” Awnnn. This is just so beautiful. We didn’t even had to do anything. God is really great.” Mrs Qin said, covering her lips as she cried carelessly on lewis shoulder.
The two babies sobbed loudly and woke up all the maids and male workers in the house. All of them were standing at the doorsteps of Xan’s room, celebrating in the joy.
Xan found himself smiling out of tears. His emotion was just too void. He was the most happiest man on earth.
He was happier than a man who was given a second life to live.
He sat next to Amy on the floor and placed romeo on her chest before kssing his juilet as well.
” Juilet girl?” He called and his hot breath brushed her skin, making her move slightly and a light smile appeared on her cheeks.
Xan chuckled in return and slept next to them.
Maybe Christmas miracles was real and it came in the most natural way.

CHRISTMAS MORNING ?
Amy was already awake, breastfeeding her baby.
Xan dropped sleepy juilet in the cradle and came to join his wife on the bed.
” How’s your night?. I hope the pain is now less” He asked, pulling her closer to him with his arm.
” No. They aren’t. I feel so heavy beneath and i don’t think I’ll walk for a long while.” She said crumpling her lips cutely.
Xan smiled and placed a crown he got as a gift from his friends’ on her hair.
Their room was crowded with different gift from different families and their livingroom was filled with visitors.
” My queen.” Xan said after placing the crown and she looked up at him blushing hard. She picked up the baby diapers and put it on his head as well.
” My sxy icy king.” She giggled. Xan sighed and threw the shit aside before leaning down.
” Hey romeo.” He turned to the little fella firing on his wife little plumpy tips.
” You are stealing my favourite little peaches, Romeo. Huh?. You are gonna pay for this shit!.” Xan said and Romeo palmed her bbs, proving he was in control.
Amy laughed and Xan curled his lip cutely. She covered up her dress, picking romeo up.
” The kids are so little and very cute.” She said, holding up her son.
” Of course. They took after their mother small figure afterall.” He said, rolling his eyes.
Amy rested romeo on her chest.
” I’m going to love my kid so much like c¢razy!. I love you romeo. I love you and i love you juilet. They are both my stars.” she said, hugging the child.
” You love them. But please…don’t squeeze him too much” xan begged and Amy chuckled loudly.
She dropped romeo on his cradle and turned to face her husband touching his face playfully.
” Do we need other kids aside romeo and juilet?” She asked.
” Then facing this labor mess again. Oh no, kids are cancelled. We’ll go for the family planning.” He said.
” Everything that happened yesterday feels like a dream.” She said.
Xan dragged her closer and kissed her lips lightly.
” Amy. Last night was h’ll for the both of us. I almost thought we had lost it all but, in some ways, We had it all because right now, having two beautiful children who makes us happy is what worth it.” He said.
” I feel like I’m the most happiest wife and mother on earth.Thanks for standing with me till this very end, xan. It was really worth the journey.” She said and kssed his lip.
” And Merry Christmas my sunshine.” He said.
” Same to you, my love” she smiled, staring at the stars that reflected in his beautiful eyes.
Her icy king.
His little fruit.
