Iris was still sited on the floor with her mouth wide open, she moved back with her butt as she watched the projector display her pictures.
Some were unaware, apart from the projector half of the room was covered with her picture. “What the heck is this? Was I kidnapped and rapped?” She asked herself, she now stands.
She heard the doo open and she flinched, she breathed out in relief when she realized it was not the door to the room she was in.
She opened the door slowly and happiness filled her heart when it made no sound, she saw a guy dressed in shorts and a wine color T-shirt.
He sat on the bed and took hold of his head, he was muttering some words but Iris heard nothing. She stared around the room and found a bat, she smiled and took it.
She opened the door widely and held the bat with her hands, she walked slowly towards the guy to h!t him.
‘That cologne is familiar,’ she thought as it filled her nostrils. ‘It doesn’t matter, I need to leave this place,’ she concluded and raised the barton to hit his head but it made contact with his hand since he held it.
“N…. Neil?” She stammered as they started at each other. “Hi my love,” he said with a smile but Iris’s face was void of expression.
She was confused, how did she end up there and that b@stard took advantage of her. “I am not your love!” She snapped and dropped the barton.
“I know you are mad at me but listen to me, I can explain,” he said dropping the barton too. “I don’t care, keep your pathetic explanation to yourself,” she said and walked out of the room.
She head to the main door and tried to open it but it was locked. “Open this goddam door, Neil!” She ordered but he just stood a few feet away from her.
“Open this door or I’m going to break it!” She yells struggling to open the door but it won’t open. “Are you deaf? I said open this door!” She yelled walking towards him.
She wanted to grab his collar but he held her wrist instead. “Let go of me! Your touch disgusts me!” She screamed as she tried to free herself from his grip.
“We made love yesterday my touch was not disgusting then,” he said. “We didn’t make love, you rapped me!” She snapped as she hated herself for getting so drunk to the extent of not recognizing him.
Maybe she recognized him but she missed him and just wanted to let her emotions control her, now that the alcohol is cleared she hated herself.
“I didn’t rappe you! I had your consent!” He retorted. “I was drunk, you could have ignored me but you decided to take advantage of me!” She cried.
“You know I can’t resist your body, I am drawn to you,” he said in a calm voice. “Drawn to me my foot!” She spat. “You left without a word, you were my world! I loved you but you abandoned me, I waited for days, weeks, months for you Neil but you were gone.
My heart was shattered and I thought I would not survive it, you would not have done that if you are drawn to me!” She yelled as tears streamed down her cheek.
“I’m sorry, I had to go. It was for us, I left for us, it was to make a better life for us,” he replied. “No Neil you did it out of your selfish interest,” she snapped.
“I hate you, Neil Young! Your presence disgusts me!” She yells. “Don’t say that,” he said fighting back his tears.
“Why? Because it’s the truth?” She asked. “No, because it breaks my heart,” he replied.
“You don’t have a heart!” She snapped and he drew her closer. “Let me..,” her words were caught in his mouth as he claimed her lips.
He was slow at first but he increased his pace as time went on, she struggled to be free from him but he was too strong, she gave in and kssed him back.
“I missed you, Iris, I missed you,” he said after he broke the kss. “I know you hate me but give me a chance to prove myself please,” he pleaded but she only stared, she was short of words.
Her heart was racing as he stared into her eyes, and she unconsciously hugged him. She couldn’t tell why but she felt like all she needed at that moment was to be held by him.
“We should have breakfast,” he said and disengage from the high, he led her to the dining table and pulled a chair for her to sit.
Iris watched him dish the food and memories of their past flooded her mind, she closed her eyes holding the tears back.
“Let’s eat,” he said sitting beside her. “I can’t do this Neil,” she blurted. “What do you mean?” He asked.
“This,” she pointed at the table. “I can’t…. I can’t eat with you, smile at you…., have a conversation with you. I just can’t pretend that nothing happened between us, I can forgive you but ignoring the pain you caused me is impossible,” she said and stood up.
“Iris, don’t go,” he said standing in for of her. “Please don’t walk away,” he pleaded.
“You walked away Neil, I see no reason why I should not do the same,” she said. “You are better than me!” He yelled as she walked past him.
“No I am worst than you,” she said and stopped at the door.

“I’ll be right back,” Nicole said and left the room. “Good afternoon,” Zoey greeted, she was dressed like a nurse.
“Afternoon,” Mrs. Nora replied. “You will have to excuse me, ma’am I want to run some test on her,” she said and Mrs. Nora glanced at sleeping Diana before walking out of the room.
“Should I leave too?” Draco asked with his gaze on Diana. “No,” she replied and the door opened, Elias walked in but he was wearing a mask.
“Hey,” Zoey muttered patting his hair. “I don’t like it when people touch my hair, only Elias and aunt Romina are allowed to do that,” he said and gently took Zoey’s hand away from his hair.
Elias wanted to ask how he knew Romina but he decided not to, that was not important, the important thing is that he get to meet his family.
“My apologies,” Zoey apologized. “Draco,” Elias called and he turned his head slowly to look at him. “Elias?” He called more like a question and he nodded.
“Elias!” He screamed and ran into his arms, Elias knelt so that he would reach his height. “Where have you been? Do you know how hard it was for us? Iris treated us like shit, it was so hard!” He uttered as if he wet Elias’s coat with tears.
“I knew it was hard and I apologize for making you go through all that, big brother is sorry,” he apologized.
“It’s fine, it was for the good,” Draco said disengaging from the hug. “For the good? What do you mean?” Elias asked.
“You would have gotten married to Iris if you didn’t leave, it makes it easier to forgive you because getting separated from you was for the greater good,” Draco said and pat his head.
“You were awesome,” he added and peck his forehead. “Draco?!” He called only to be hugged again by him.
Zoey smiled and walked towards the bed, she checked if Diana was unconscious or asleep and thankfully she was asleep.
“Hey,” she whispered into her ears and she opened her eyes. “Who are you?” She asked weakly.
“I am a friend of your brother’s, he is here to see you,” Zoey said and moved away for her to see Elias.
“Elias,” she called weakly and tried to sit up but he hugged him Instead. “You are back, aunt Romina fulfilled my wish,” she said excitedly but it was not obvious since her voice was weak.
“Aunt Romina? You guys know Romina?” He asked. “Yes, she told us to be good and nice kids, she told us not to give Iris a headache. She took us to see a movie, brought us lunch, and gifted us wristwatches,” Diana stated with a weak smile.
“Okay, I’m going to listen to everything after your surgery, right now rest,” he said and helped her sleep on the bed.
“Elias,” she called and held his wrist. “Are you going to operate on me?” She inquired. “If not me, who will?” He asked.
“Thank you,” she replied and he pats her hair backward while her eyes closed voluntarily.
“It has been a long time,” Draco said as he snuck into Elias’s arm. “I missed you guys,” he replied.
“Are you back?” Draco asked. “I’m not sure,” he mumbles. “Take us with you, we are going to be good kids. We don’t want to stay with Iris,” he said and Elias made eye contact with Zoey.
“You can’t come with me but I promise to come back soon,” he assured.
