Romina stood at a safe distance and watch the mini robots that were being built, she could not get her mind off Elias.
She missed him despite seeing him that morning, she hummed a song as she daydream about him.
“Someone is happy,” Steve said behind her and she turned around with a smile. “I’m just happy the company is doing great,” she replied.
“I don’t believe that, you look out you have just won a lottery,” he said and pinched her cheek stylishly.
“It would be good to win a lottery but I think this is better than winning a lottery,” she replied and he chuckled.
“Let’s have lunch together, we should celebrate the unknown,” Steve suggested. “What unknown?” She inquired.
“Don’t lie to me, the company is not the reason you are blushing,” he replied. “Blushing? I was not blushing,” she denied walking away.
Steve ran after her and held her hand, she snatched her hand from him as she tried to hide her excitement.
“Why are you hiding your face?” Steve asked and she tried to run because to that extent she might blurt her reason for blushing.
“I am mad at you,” she replied and bit her lips hard since she is a terrible liar. “Me? What have I done?” He inquired.
“You accuse me of things I’m clueless of, I was smiling because the company is doing great and here you are having other thoughts,” she replied and he block his way.
“Where do you think you are going?” He asked. “To my office,” she replied. “And why will you go to your office when I invited you to lunch?” He asked and she folded her arms under her bbs.
“I don’t want to eat with you,” she replied and tried to walk past him but he pulled her hand instead and dragged her towards the cafeteria.
“Hey let me go this instant!” She screamed h!tting his hand. “Do you want the employees to have negative thoughts of me?” She asked and he stopped.
“What negative thought?” He asked. “Rumors spread quickly you see,” she reminds him and he chuckles.
“What if rumors spread? Why do you care? It’s not like we are forbidden to go out and we are both singles,” he said and noticed her change in expression.
“You don’t have a boyfriend, do you?” He asked in a calm tone, he doesn’t think his heart will be able to bear it if he is in love with someone else.
“No,” she replied and he breathed out in relief. “What’s wrong?” She asked when he kept grinning
“Nothing, hey just because I don’t have a boyfriend doesn’t mean you can hit on me, I don’t want to date you!” She said and he felt his heart h!t with an arrow, he loved her and hopes she would be his one day.
“I was not h!tting on you in the first place,” he replied. “Liar,” she snapped and they entered the cafeteria.
“I’ll go and get our food,” he said and walked away, Romina walked to an empty table and sat there.

“It feels good to be back home,” Diana said as Draco helped her sit on the couch.
“You are right,” he agreed and sat beside her. “What will you guys like to have for lunch?” Iris asked startling them.
“You scared the daylight out of us!” Diana snapped since she hurt herself because of the shock.
“Sorry, does it hurt?” Iris asked nicely. “No,” Diana replied.
“That’s good, so what will you like to have for lunch?” Iris asked.
“Nothing,” they replied in unison and Iris bit her lips trying to hold back her anger.
“Nothing? How can you guys want nothing?” She asked with an awkward smile trying to suppress her pain.
“We missed Elias cooking so we will appreciate it if he prepares our lunch,” Draco replied nicely.
‘They are not nice and it’s driving me crazy, they are just like their brother,’ Iris thought and Elias walked in with Mrs. Drake and the twin’s stuff at her place.
“Elias, the kids want you to prepare their lunch,” Iris informed him and went to the kitchen.
“We are not rude, are we?” Diana asked. “I don’t know, it’s hard being nice to her,” he replied.
“Attend to them, I will take these to their rooms,” Mrs. Drake said and went upstairs.
“What will you guys love to have?” He asked and squatted in front of Diana. “You are not going to scold us?” Draco asked.
“Why will I scold you?” Elias inquired. “That we turned down your fiancee’s offer to cook for us,” he replied and Elias stood up
“I will fix you guys something,” he said and went to the kitchen. “Is it I or everyone is acting weird?” Diana asked.
“I have the same thought,” Draco replied.
Elias met Iris sitting on a stool in the kitchen doing nothing, he didn’t say a word as he walked straight to the cabinet.
He opened it and started bringing out things he needed. “Have you come to a decision?” She asked.
“What decision?” Elias asked dropping the ingredients on the counter. “About us,” she replied.
“Will you break up with me?” She asked. “No,” he replied and she smiled.
“Why?” She managed to ask. “Do you want us to break up? If you do then…..,” she interrupted him.
“I don’t want a breakup, I just don’t understand why you choose to stay by my side,” she clarified
“I don’t understand why either doesn’t ask,” he replied and started washing the ingredients he was going to use for the preparation.
“Do you need my help?” She asked and stood up from the stool. “Go and help your mom with the twin’s stuff, I can handle things here,” he replied and she felt hurt but it was not obvious.
She wanted to say something but nothing came to her mind so she just left, the twins were watching a movie when she got to the living room.

Romina was about to get into her car when her phone rang, she brought it out of her bag and her heart raced at the sight of the caller.
It was Iris, Romina suddenly feel guilty and didn’t want to pick up her call. She dropped the phone in her bag and got into the car.
Her phone rang again and it was Iris, she groaned as she felt more guilty. “What am I going to say?” She wondered and picked up.
“Hey, what took you so long to pick up?” Iris queried and Romina forced a smile.
“I’m sorry,” that was all Romina could say. “Let’s meet, I miss you,” Iris said and Romina gulp nothing down her throat.
“Romina? Are you still there?” Iris asked when she heard no response. “Y… Yes, I am,” she stuttered shortly.
“I will text you the address,” Iris said and hang up. “What am I going to do?” Romina wondered and her phone made a notification sound.
She checked it and it was a message from Iris, it was an unpopular restaurant.
“It’s not like I did something wrong, why do I feel scared?” She asked and ignited the car.
She got there in no time since she wanted to leave as early as possible, there weren’t many people in the restaurant.
“Hey bch,” Romina heard Iris say and she furrowed her brows. “Bch!” She repeated with a light chuckle, her expression was not friendly so Romina was sure she meant what she said.
“Why are you calling me a bch?” Romina inquired with a nervous smile. “Isn’t that what people like you are called? You pretend to be a friend but you are a hypocrite! Bch!” Iris screamed and the little people in the restaurant started chanting BCH.
“What are you talking about Iris?” Romina asked. “You lying bch! You se.duced my fiancee and pretend to be my friend! I am going to kll you!” Iris growled.
“KLL HER!” The people started chanting and Iris stood up, she marched towards Romina who moved back I fear.
“Romina! Romina!!” Iris yell snapping her to reality, Romina stared around and found the customer still seated at their various table.
They were paying zero attention to them and Iris was still sitting in her seat. ‘It was all my imagination,’ Romina thought and breathed out in relief.
“Why are you standing there? Are you alright?” Iris asked and Romina sat on the chair opposite her.
“You spaced out, are you stressed?” Iris asked with genuine concern. “I guess,” she replied with an awkward smile.
“You should rest often, I guess I can’t talk to you about my problems since you have yours,” Iris said with a sad pout.
“It’s fine, I am only stressed due to work,” Romina replied and Iris’s eyes twitched like a Christmas tree, she was going to tell her even if she was against it.
“I told my fiancee about my past,” she started. “He is back?” Romina asked pretending to be clueless.
