Elias trailed his hand as his body moved closer to her back, he tried taking all her clothes off but luck was not on his side.
The doo opened and Zoey walked in, Elias massaged her back properly while Zoey smiled.
“You could have knocked Zoey,” Romina scolded after Elias was done they were now walking down the stairs. “Sorry, I never knew he was about to have your back on the bed,” Zoey replied and Romina groaned frustratedly.
“Will you have breakfast with us, doctor?” Nanny Gloria asked, he wanted to spend more time with Romina so he agreed.
“Yes,” he replied and Romina blinked her eyes to be sure she heard him, why will he decide to eat out of the blue?
He definitely has breakfast, she tasted it when he kssed her earlier, could be playing nice boy? Well, she should bail him out.
“He is a doctor nanny, patients must be waiting in the hospital having breakfast with us can cost him his job,” she explained and her nanny pouted sadly.
Elias walked closer to her and held her wrist. “What are you doing?” He queried in a whisper.
“Saving you,” she whispered back. “I don’t need it,” he replied and turned to nanny Gloria.
“I will have breakfast,” he agreed. “Are you sure?” She asked a little concerned and he nodded
He pulled a chair and Zoey went to the kitchen with nanny Gloria. “Congratulation on successfully making me look like an idiot,” Romina muttered sitting beside him and he chuckled.
“This isn’t funny,” she scolded. “Sorry, I just don’t want her to feel bad,” he explained.
He placed his hand on her’s and rubbed it a little to soothe her anger. “Don’t be mad,” he said cutely and she could not help but blush needlessly.
“Breakfast is here,” Nanny Gloria announced and placed the dishes on the table, Romina picked a spoon and started serving Elias, then herself.
“Where are you going?” Elias asked nanny Gloria when she turned to leave.
“I am heading back to the kitchen, is there something you need?” She asked.
“You should have breakfast with us,” he requested. “Huh?” Nanny Gloria furrowed her brows.
“It is wrong to invite me if you are going to leave me here,” he said and Zoey ushered Nanny Gloria to a seat.
“Thank you,” Nanny Gloria appreciated. “It’s my pleasure,” he replied and dished nanny Gloria’s food.
‘Could Iris be right about his feelings for me? Does he want me? What about Iris?’ Romina wondered as she ate the food one after the other.
She was slower than a tortoise, Elias glanced at her at every opportunity he got and he knew she was bothered.
“How is Mrs. Zaragoza?” Nanny Gloria asked diverting Elias’s attention from Romina to her.
“Better, we are going to perform her surgery hopefully next week,” he replied.
“Thank you, doctor,” she appreciated. “Just doing my job ma’am,” he replied and the table was silent after that, Romina and Elias walked out of the mansion together but Romina was super silent.
She plans on fulfilling her end of the bargain but what can she do if her heart fails her, and Elias made things worse by pulling her into his arm.
Her chest almost beat her, she stared into his eyes and wondered who would not get lost staring at those eyes of his.
“What are you doing?” She asked trying to release herself from his grip.
“Let’s talk about earlier,” he said and she gulped nothing down.
“It’s nothing, let’s forget it and pretend it never happened,” she replied. “I can’t,” he replied.
“Not now then, I’m late for work all thanks to you and nanny, you should hear refused to have breakfast if you wanted to talk about that,” she said avoiding his gaze.
He loved her shy type, it was more fun that way than watching her all bold and talky.
“Dinner then,” he said and she finally stared at his face. “You are inviting me to have dinner with you?” She asked.
“I believe so,” he replied. “I’ll send you the address,” he added and peck her cheek, her heart skipped a beat as she wished it was her lips instead.
“See you tonight,” he waved before getting into his car, Zoey stood behind Romina saying nothing and she didn’t notice her presence.
“Is this love?” Zoey asked and Romina gasped holding her chest.
“Do you plan on putting me on that bed once mom is awake?” Romina asked. “That is if you make it your new bedroom,” Zoey replied.
“I am going to destroy you if you work against me,” Romina threatened. “Destroying me is the same as murder, do you want to be a mvrder?” Zoey asked.
“It would be cool to remake you into a vacuum cleaner or something,” she started walking towards her car and Zoey followed.
“You want to turn your best friend into an ordinary cleaner?” Zoey asked with a surprised expression.
“Yes, my best friend is starting to be a pain in the neck,” she replied and got into the car.
“I’m coming with you,” Zoey said and got into the car too. “What do you think you are going to?” Romina asked
“To RGC,” she replied. “You kidding me? Do you want to be dismantled?” Romina asked and she nodded negatively.
“Your facial expression is anxious, it is not because of Elias but due to some meeting you have, using a robot is not illegal,” she started and winked.
“You are kidding me, you missed associating with metals don’t you?” Romina asked as she drove away.
“No, it is to help you and to say Hi to Steve,” she replied. “I am starting to forget you are a robot,” Romina said.
Zoey gave her a thumbs up and a smile. “I will take that as a compliment.” She said.
“Shut up now, I need to think,” she ordered. “What is it you want to think about? I can help,” she replied.
“No,” Romina shrugged. “Say the word,” Zoey insisted.
“Fine, I am going out later tonight on not a date, I am clueless on what to wear,” she said shyly.
“You have ro..mantic feelings towards the person,” Zoey stated and Romina cut in, she was not going to let Zoey tease her with it.
“No, I don’t,” she denied. “You would not have considered the dinner a date if you didn’t,” she replied.
“I said not a date,” she reminded. “Humans wat of saying I wish it a date or it is a date,” Zoey replied.
“Zoe…. It’s useless arguing with a robot,” Romina concluded. “I will shop online now,” she said and used the windscreen as a surface while she projected all sorts of clothes.
“It’s all beautiful,” Romina exclaimed. “I can help you choose if you are finding it hard,” Zoey suggested.
“No, save it. I will see it later,” she replied and concentrated on the road.

Elias whistle a song as he walked into the hospital, his happiness knew no bounds as he remembered getting super close with Romina, and if not for Zoey he would have done crazy things with her.
“I love you Romina,” he muttered as he danced into the office. “Good morning guys,” he greeted.
“Good morning Doctor Elias,” they replied in unison. “Where is chief?” He asked.
“He is in the OR,” a junior doctor replied. “Oh,” he pouted and walked to his seat, he started researching for a restaurant in a remote area.
He didn’t want to make Romina uncomfortable and he had plans for some things, he smiled sd his heart danced.
After an hour chief walked in. “Good morning,” Elias greeted.
“Sounds happy, is Iris letting you go?” He asked and Elias dropped the pen in his hand.
“Should we celebrate?” Chief asked. “What type of human celebrates breakups?” He asked and the chief smacked his head.
“You think I am not human?” Chief asked. “No, that was just a joke you should have forgiven me,” he mouthed.
“You were late,” Chief stated and sat on the chair close to him. “I had breakfast at Romina’s place,” he replied.
“Did she invite you?” Chief asked. “No her nanny did, but we are going on a dinner date later,” Elias informed him.
“You should break up with Iris first or it will be considered cheating,” Cheif said.
“It is a friendly date,” Elias said. “It starts with it but never ends with it, give her no reason to make you look like the cheater,” Chief said and pat his shoulder.
Elias was surprised that he advised on love, why didn’t he do it when he was in love with Iris?
Why is everyone against them, was it because they saw through her and he didn’t? Why was he blind?
He picked up his phone and tapped the message icon, he typed the three opposite letters words.
*Let’s break up*
He wanted to send it to Iris.
