Romina’s eyes filled with water all of a sudden, she wanted to let it out but that was not the solution.
“Why should I leave? This is my father’s house, if Neil wants to live here he is welcome but I am not leaving this mansion for him,” she retorted.
“This is his father’s house too,” Mrs. Zaragoza stated. “Well, I am not disputing that since he has brainwashed you, but I am not leaving not for him or anyone else. Besides, this mansion is huge enough to accommodate us,” she said and picked up her bag that fell on the floor.
“Excuse me, I had a long day at work and I will love to rest,” she glared at Neil who was smirking secretly, she shook her head slightly and walked towards the stairs.
“Stop right there Romina!” Mrs. Zaragoza ordered and she stooped reluctantly.
“You should learn some manners you know, should I enroll you in a class?” Neil mocked beside Mrs. Zaragoza.
Romina turned to face him with a smile. “Sure, the class will be helpful for both of us since you have the brain of a fish.”
“What did you just say?” His eyes were red and he wanted to walk toward her but Mrs. Zaragoza stopped him.
“You both should calm down and listen!” She snapped and Neil was stunned, why was she suddenly mad at him? Shouldn’t her anger be towards Romina?
“Romina,” she called. “You are leaving this house tomorrow morning, that is an order.”
Romina scoffed and went straight to her room not wanting to argue with them again.
Elias tapped the twins gently and they understood his gesture, they left the mansion quietly not wanting to be caught in the conflict.
Elias wanted to follow Romina and check if she was okay but that was not advisable, things could get worse because of his intervention.
“Elias, do you think aunt is okay?” Draco asked as they got into the car. “She is going to be,” He replied.
“I wish I could beat that bamboo up, how dare he hurt aunt. The house is not his, is it?” Diana asked.
“I believe it’s not,” Elias replied. “Why are they throwing aunt out of her mansion then?” Draco asked.
“You guys won’t understand if I were to explain,” he stated.
“We are twelve, not five,” Diana uttered and he chuckled. “We should still change the topic,” he insisted.
“I want to help,” Diana muttered. “Me too,” Draco added.
Back in the mansion, Nanny Gloria and Zoey stood in front of Romina’s room.
“Do you think she is going to open the door?” Nanny Gloria asked Zoey. “Romina will be fine,” Zoey replied.
“I know, but I still can’t help but worry. She has been through a lot in the past and things are just getting worse,” she muttered.
“Will you two continue mumbling or are you gonna come in?” Romina asked from the room.
Zoey opened the door and they met Romina sited in front of her reading table going through some documents.
“Oh, goodness you had us worried,” Nanny Gloria said as they walked closer to her.
“Why were you worried?” Romina asked and turned to face them. “You…, know…, about what happened,” nanny Gloria stuttered briefly.
“You look okay,” Zoey muttered.
“What were you expecting? A sulking girl?”
Zoey smiled at her. “You get stronger day by day.”
“Of course, you are not allowed to show weakness when you are on a battlefield,” Romina uttered.
“Or are you just pretending?” Nanny Gloria asked. “Gosh nanny, I am not that little girl anymore,” she stated.
“Yeah, you are not,” Nanny Gloria muttered. “What is your plan? You have one don’t you?” Zoey asked.
“I am not sure if it’s a plan but I am not leaving,” she answered.
“It’s a plan,” Zoey agreed. “I guess,” Romina shrugged her shoulders.
“Neil is going too far, you have to stop him as soon as possible,” Nanny Gloria said.
Romina sighed. “The only way to do that is to find the missing will but we can’t do that without mom.”
“We are going to do our best to make sure Mrs. Zaragoza regains her memory,” Zoey assured.
“Thank you,” Romina appreciated. “You are welcome,” Zoey replied.
“You don’t have to thank us, we are family,” she said. “Yeah, we are and the family got each other back,” Romina uttered in agreement.
“Family hug!” Nanny Gloria screamed and they hugged.
They left after they were sure Romina was fine, Romina’s head was blank. She stopped working and just rolled endlessly on the bed, everything was confusing for her.
She stopped rolling and stared at the ceiling. “How did I end up here?” She wondered with her gaze at the ceiling.
“Dad, you are up there aren’t you?” She paused as if waiting for an answer.
“Do you think I can win against Neil? Can I get mom back? What am I going to do?”
She was still lost in thought when her phone rang drawing her to reality, she sat up and reached for the ringing phone that was on the lamp table.
“Hello,” her voice was down. “Have you been crying?” Elias inquired from the other end.
“No, just thinking about some kinds of stuff,” she replied. “And how is that working out for you?” He questioned.
“Good enough or not that good, I don’t have an answer,” she replied. “It’s gonna be fine,” Neil assured.
“How sure are you? He is in total control, mom listens to him and is willing to throw her daughter away because of him. Despite all that you still think it’s going to be fine?” She asked.
She sighed, not waiting for a response she continued. “I earlier I face the truth the better for me, the only way to get my mom is to defeat Neil which is nearly impossible.”
“There is still hope then,” he uttered.
“Pardon,” she furrowed her brows.
“We can win this battle because that non-brother of yours is an id!ot,” he stated. “And it takes a genius to beat an id!ot, and I just happen to know a genius.”
“You are not referring to me, are you?”
“Who else would I be talking about?” He questioned back, she brushed her hair back with her fingers.
“You don’t understand what’s going on, do you? Neil…. I don’t know,” she sniffed back her tears and palmed her mouth to muffle her whimpering.
“Get under the duvet,” Elias uttered out of the blue.
“What?!” Her eyes widened.
“Just do it,” he replied, and not wanting to argue she obeyed. “Close your eyes and place the phone on the pillow,”
She obeyed. “Now inhale and exhale,” he added and she did, he started humming a song and in less than ten minutes she was fast asleep.
While in Mrs. Zaragoza’s room she was whimpering silently in her bed, Neil left a few minutes after Romina went to her room.
Mrs. Zaragoza wished she could go into Romina’s room and unsaid the things she said, she regretted hurting Romina.
She is her daughter and she should protect her even if she remembers nothing about her but all she has done is bring her pa!n.
“I am sorry,” she whimpered as tears gush out of her eyes, she hugged her pillow to herself.

Iris was sited in her room in front of the dressing mirror, crying silently as she sipped from the bottle of alcohol in front of her.
“Iris, your dinner is going to get cold!” Nora yelled from the living room, Iris was under the duvet when she got home earlier so she decided to prepare dinner.
But, she has not stepped out of her room since earlier.
“Are you asleep? Do you feel sick?” She asked as she knocked on the door.
“Baby girl,” she called opening the door when she got no response from her, she smiled when she sighted her in front of the dressing table.
“Aren’t you going to have dinner?” Nora asked and walked closer to her but she was stunned when she saw her reflection in the mirror.
“Hey, why do you look like that? Have you been crying? Why are you crying? And is that….. Oh, mine, what are you doing with this?” She raised the bottle of alcohol.
“It helps,” she mumbled drunkenly dragging the bottle with her mother.
“Since when did you start drinking?!” Nora snapped. “A few hours ago,” she replied and successfully got the bottle from her mom.
“Do you have any idea of what you are doing? Why are you drinking in the first place?! Talk to me, Iris!” Her mother demanded.
“Lower your voice mom,” she cautioned. “Well, you should answer first,” Nora replied.
“There is someone I need to talk to,” she picked up her phone and managed to dial a number, the fellow picked up on the fourth ring.
“Hey, I need your help,” she said and smirk at her reflection in the mirror.
