Romina stood in front of Elias’s mansion with Zoey beside her, Romina took a deep breath before pressing the doorbell.
The last thing she wants is to be a burden to someone else, she has no money with her since she had no plan of leaving.
The door was opened and Elias’s face came into view, he was dressed for work.
She flashed him a smile and asked. “Can we come in?”
“Sure,” he replied and stepped out of the way while Zoey carried the bags behind Romina.
“Good morning,” she greeted. “I am sorry but I have nowhere else to go.”
“You are welcome to stay,” he replied. “Thanks,” Romina appreciated.
“You don’t have to thank me,” he said and she understood what he meant, she needs to get things back in other so she can leave.
“Where are the twins?” Romina asked changing the topic.
“Upstairs, getting ready,” he replied. “Come I will show you guys your room.”
He led the way while Zoey and Romina followed, he took them to one of the guest rooms.
“Feel at home,” he said before leaving.
“You should smile genuinely,” Zoey said as she strolled to open the window.
“I am trying,” she replied and sat on the bed. “What is your plan?” Zoey asked.
“I don’t know, I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Neil made my mom turn her back on me,” she muttered.
“You are strong Romina, you have been through the worst and you have survived. This is not going to be an exception, I believe you,” she said.
“Sometimes I wonder if you are a robot,” Romina chuckled.
“You doubting what you made?” Zoey inquired. “I didn’t make you, dad did,” Romina muttered and stared at the blue sky with a sad smile.
“None of this would happen if dad was here right?” She asked and Zoey walked closer to her, she sat on the bed and hugged her.
“It is going to be fine,” Zoey assured and she chuckled resting her head on Zoey’s arm.
While outside, the kids rush down the stairs excitedly, they were happy Elias was going to work and Nicole won’t be able to make it.
The day keeper he got was going to come late too, they planned on watching the TV all day.
“Elias is breakfast ready?” Draco asked as they got closer to the dining table.
“Yes,” he answered. “I am starving,” Diana uttered as they took a sit.
“There is something you guys should know,” he said and they stared at him.
“Someone, a lady to be exact is going to live with us starting today, maybe two ladies,” he informed.
“Iris and her mother? Why are they moving here?” Diana queried.
“What happened to their house? We are against this, there is no way those two are going to live here,” Draco groaned.
“I get you hate Iris, what do you have against her mom?” Elias asked.
“The fact she gave birth to the witch,” Diana rolled her eyes.
“I broke up with Iris, so it’s neither her nor her mom,” Elias informed them.
“I haven’t heard something as pleasant as this in years,” Draco smiled.
“Who are we living with then? Your new fiancee?” Diana asked.
“No it’s Romina and Zoey,” he replied. “Are you kidding? It’s a joke isn’t it?” Diana asked.
“No,” Romina responded behind them and they turned around to confirm what they just heard.
“She is really here!” Draco screamed and rushed into her arm.
“It’s gonna be cool since you are going to leave here now, I can’t imagine all the amazing kinds of stuff we are going to do together,” Draco said and Romina chuckled.
“Don’t worry we are going to have lots of fun,” Romina assured.
“It’s fine if you are busy don’t take his words too seriously he loves playing,” Diana said as she walked closer.
“You speak as if you don’t want to have fun with her too,” Draco rolled his eyes.
“Don’t do that, it makes you look like Gina,” Diana teased and Draco glared at her.
“Let’s have breakfast,” Elias said and they all went to the table.
“You ain’t eating again,” Diana stated after studying Zoey.
“Diana,” Elias called warningly. “She has to eat if she’s going to live here,” Diana replied and turned to Zoey.
“I don’t eat,” Zoey told her. “Everyone eats, even aliens do. We all need food to survive, how do you survive without food?” Diana asked.
“I survive on electricity,” she replied. “That’s one funny joke,” Draco laughed.
After a few minutes, Diana tapped Draco. “I don’t think it’s funny, she isn’t smiling.”
“It’s not a joke?” Draco asked Zoey. “No, it is the truth,” replied Zoey.
Diana scoffed. “What does that make you then? A robot?”
“Exactly,” Zoey replied. “It’s not good to crack jokes during meals,” Diana warned.
“I am not joking, I am a robot specially designed for Romina,” she blurted.
“Wait, so you are like Gina?” Draco asked and she nodded. “Is this girl’s things or what?”
“I don’t believe you, prove to us that you are a robot,” Diana demanded.
“How will you like me to prove it?” Zoey asked. “I wanna watch you charge yourself later,” Diana said and she nodded.
“I am leaving you guys should behave yourself,” Elias warned and stood up.
“We always behave,” Draco muttered. “Diana?” He eyed her.
“I am going to have fun with the robot here,” she referred to Zoey.
Romina was not hungry, she forced smile at Elias when he waves at her.
She wants to act normal but it’s hard, how can she pretend to be fine when she is on the verge of losing everything?
“Let’s go to your room,” Diana said to Zoey and they both stood up. Draco noticed quiet Romina so he moved closer to her, he held her hand and uttered the six words she needs but also doubt its credibility
“It is going to be fine.”
She found herself pulling him into a hug, she didn’t sob nor did she say a word but she needed the hug.

Neil and Mrs. Zaragoza ate in silence and it angered Neil that she was unusually quiet, shouldn’t she celebrate with him?
“Mom,” he called and she raised her head with a forced smile. “Don’t you love this? The peace we have without Romina, don’t you love it?” He asked.
“It’s great,” she replied. “Dad would be so happy if he was here,” Neil sighed. “Nevertheless, we have what we want. Staring at Romina’s picture is only making me angrier, I suggest we burn it all,” he smirked evilly.
“Don’t!” Mrs. Zaragoza stopped him when he made to stand up, he raised a brow suspiciously at her.
She noticed his looks and quickly force a smile. “You can remove it but don’t burn them.”
“Why shouldn’t I? Are you going to miss her so that you want to peep at her picture once in a Blue Moon?” Neil asked.
“No, I just don’t want us to look like the bad guy,” she replied. “Who cares about what other people’s perspectives are? The earlier you realize it’s useless the better,” he stated.
“If you won’t let me burn Romina’s picture I want something else,” he said.
“What is it you want?” She asked nervously, he is unpredictable she wonders what he is going to make her do again.
“The company,” he blurted. “I need you to give a verbal order and make me the new acting CEO until the will is found.”
“You want to overthrow Romina?” She asked. “Mom, we kicked her out of the house we should kick her out of the company too,” he stated nonchalantly.
Not wanting to attract suspicion she agreed. “How do I give the verbal order?” She asked.
He took a piece of paper and wrote on it what he want her to say, she read everything and nodded as a gesture that she was ready.
Neil brought out his phone and tapped on the video, he motioned for her to start and she did.
He recorded everything and gave her a satisfactory smile before leaving. Mrs. Zaragoza watched his car drive away.
She held her chest as her heartaches and her eyes were wet.

“I called her and she told me it was fine to visit so let me in this instant!” Iris ordered but Nina kept her out.
“That is the problem miss, you can’t go in because Romina is not in there,” Nina replied.
“What is your problem? I am going to get you fired if you don’t let me in!” She snapped.
Neil walked out of his office with a confused look, Iris was so angry that Nina is stopping her from seeing Romina.
Iris is not the type to care about strangers unless Romina is not a stranger.
“Nina,” Neil called and they both finally noticed her presence. “What the fk are you doing here?!” Iris snapped.
