“Hey! Are you listening to me?!” Nicole snapped at Iris who smiled absentmindedly.

‘It was a thought, how I wish I could make it come true,” Iris thought as she glared secretly at Nicole.

“I am guessing my brother needs my help,” Nicole said and Iris nodded slowly. “Well, I ain’t in the mood to help,” she replied.

“What? What is that supposed to mean?” She
asked.

“It means, I want him to rot in jail. He deserves it for all the evils he did,” Nicole uttered with no remorse.

“Are you even his sister? How can you wish your brother to rot in jail? Are you even listening to yourself?” Iris scoffed in disbelief.

“Iris, I will advise you to back off if you don’t want to end up like my brother since birds of the same feather flock together,” she mumbled and stood up.

“When next you visit tell him I declined, and he shouldn’t try to escape or I will hunt him down myself and $I!t his thr©at,” she uttered with a daring expression and Iris gulped down now and then.

“Good night,” she added and left.

“She is ¢razy,” Iris muttered and left too, she couldn’t stop thinking about Neil and Nicole.

She needed Neil out of prison to get her revenge on Romina, she can’t fight Romina all by herself. She is too powerful.

“How will I get him out if that dumb head of a sister isn’t willing to help?” She wondered as she drove into her garage.

Nora rushed out of the house to meet her, she was so nervous she has been trying her line but it was switched off.

Her phone must have died without her awareness, Iris sighed as her mother pulled her into a hug immediately after she stepped out of the car.

“How are you? Are you hurt?” She asked worriedly. “I am fine mom, I wouldn’t have come home unless I am fine,” she replied and disengage from the hug.

“Don’t you think It’s time you should stop getting yourself involved with Neil,” Nora suggested.

“Mom….” She complained. “I don’t know what is going on in that head of yours but you should think about the time he hurt you. Remember how treated you like trash and almost made you give up on yourself, think Iris! Think!” She snapped.

“I know mom, I remember everything but I need him. An enemy of my enemy is my friend,” she quoted.

“I can’t support this, let things go. People are always going to hurt you, will you always avenge yourself?” Nora asked.

“I won’t know everyone,” she replied. “You are impossible,” Nora said and walked away.

“Why is everyone against our relationship?” Iris wondered. “Wait, why do I sound like I am in love with him?”

She doesn’t love him all she wants from him is his help, she needs to pay Romina back in her coin.

“I don’t care what everyone thinks, I am going to do whatever I can. Whatever is necessary to get rid of my problems, problems like Romina Zaragoza,” she thought with a d’vilish smirk.

“We are getting late Romina,” Mrs. Zaragoza complained as she waited for Romina in the living room.

They had a doctor’s appointment that morning, and Mrs. Zaragoza insisted on getting a new doctor.

She didn’t want Elias to treat her, Romina tried to convince her but her mind was made up.

Romina walked tiredly down the stairs, they slept late and she wanted to sleep more but her mother would not let her.

“Romina,” she called. “I am tired mom,” Romina complained.

“But you just woke up, you can be tired only if Elias visited you at night, which I am sure he didn’t,” she said and gasped. “Did he climb the window?”

“You have a rotten mind mom, I am tired because I didn’t get enough sleep,” Romina replied and walked outside

“Wait for me!” Mrs. Zaragoza tells running after her. “I thought you might wanna run since you seem so energetic,” Romina replied ironically.

“You are short-tempered,” Mrs. Zaragoza complained as she got into the car

“I am not, I am the nicest person you will come across,” she replied.

“I am happy they are okay, everything will be perfect once Mrs. Zaragoza gets her full memory,” Nanny Gloria smiled.

“I hope they always smile,” Zoey added beside her and nanny Gloria nodded in agreement.

Romina slept on the way to the hospital, her head was rested on Mrs. Zaragoza’s shoulder.

Mrs. Zaragoza stroked her hair gently as the driver drove at a minimum speed, Mrs. Zaragoza wished she could recall everything.

It would be nice if she remembered what happened before the accident, she wanted to know if she was a good wife and mother.

“Romina,” she called despite her awareness of the fact that she was fast asleep.

“Who do you love the most between me and your dad?” Mrs. Zaragoza asked. “Mom,” she replied sleepily.

“Why?” She asked. “Because mommy is always nice,” Romina replied.

Despite not remembering anything she was happy, Romina loved her and she felt the same.

After ten more minutes, the car stopped and Mrs. Zaragoza tapped her gently.

“We are in the hospital, you should wake up now,” she said and Romina shook her head stubbornly.

“I don’t want to wake up yet,” she replied. “Get up Romina!” She snapped.

“You are mean,” she mumbled and raised her head reluctantly. “I love you daughter,” Mrs. Zaragoza said jokingly and she stopped.

Mrs. Zaragoza stared at her hand on the opened door but she didn’t move, wasn’t she going to alight?

“Romina, are you alright?” She asked with concern. “Yeah, no worries,” she replied and stepped out of the car.

Mrs. Zaragoza can not imagine how happy she is at the moment, Romina led the way to the doctor’s office.

“Good morning doctor Ronald,” Romina greeted as she walked into the office, the old man in his sixties was testing a pregnant woman.

“Hey, Miss Zaragoza,” the doctor waved. “Sit here mom,” Romina gestured at the couch and her mom sat.

Soon the doctor was done with the pregnant woman and she left.

“So what brings you here?” Dr. Ronald asked.
“My mom,” Romina started.

Neil was sitting in the cell with four other cell mates when a police officer walked towards their cell.

“Zaragoza,” the officer called and he sat up. “This is for you,” he gave him an envelope.

Neil was hesitant in opening it, it could be a trap.

“Hey, new boy. Want me to open that for you?” One of the inmates laughed.

Neil stylishly glared at him, he dare not make his intentions known or they will give him the beating of his life.

“No…., thank you,” he stuttered but deep down he wanted to cvt them open, bring out their inte$t!nes and shove it down their thr®at.

He opened the envelope and it contained a map and a letter, he stared around to make sure no one was watching.

They were just trying to get some sleep or playing games, he sighed in relief and moved farther from them.

He read the letter which he guessed were from Iris and Nicole.

*Use the map to navigate your way out of there tomorrow at noon, a police will help you get to me. Be careful not to get caught or it will be the end*

He smiled and returned his gaze to the map, red marks were on the road he was to use.

“Wait for me Romina, I will make your life miserable once more,” he mumbled with a smirk.

He hid the letter and lay on the cold floor with a smirk.
