Desmond arrived at a restaurant and he entered, he looked around and saw a young lady eating alone.
Desmond looked around one more time then went to sit beside the girl who looked at him weirdly.
” Are you expecting anyone?” Desmond asked.
” No, who are you?” She asked.
” Oh, I’m no one” he replied.
” Then why are you sitting here?…. there are other seat in this place….why here?” She asked.
” I realised you’re the only one sitting alone so I decided to keep you company” Desmond replied.
” Look old man, I’m not one of those girls that flunt around with men like you, I’m a good girl” she said and Desmond smiled.
” Of course I know you’re, because you don’t dress like them either which mean you’re from a good family” he replied.
” Then what do you want?” She asked.
” You see, immediately I came in here…..I saw you and I studied you as well and I realized you’re not happy” he said.
” How would you know if I’m happy or not?” She asked.
” Trust me, I know” Desmond replied and he knew he’s right.
” So tell me, what is it?” He asked.
” I can’t tell you” she replied.
” Oh c’mon you tell me….. there’s nothing wrong with that”
” You a problem shared is a problem solved and if you tell me at least the burden will reduce from your heart” he said.
” So tell me, is it Daddy issue?” He asked and she nodded negative.
” Boy issue?” He asked again and she reluctantly nod affirmative and he smiled.
” Boys, lemme guess…..he doesn’t have your time or see you as someone important” he said and she look at him immediately.
” How do you know that?” She asked surprised.
” Trust me, I know…… I’m kinda good at reading people…. that’s how I know” he replied.
” What do you think I should do?, I don’t want to break up with him” she said.
” Boys….they are very predictable”
” Boys these days don’t care about girls anymore or give them the respect they deserved”
“….. all they care about is themselves”
” I have a son as well, I came here to see how he’s doing and he left me alone to myself, I have to come out and have fun” he replied.
” Look here sweetheart, this is what you’re going to do” he said and she look intently to hear what he’s going to say.
” Since he doesn’t give you time or see you as someone important, you need to do the same to him as well”
” You need to stop caring about him, make yourself scarce to him and stop hovering around him”
” Stop it all and start enjoying your life and have fun……. trust me he’ll come running back to you” he concluded.
” Are you sure that would work?” She asked.
” It will, you’re a youth…..keep having fun and let it start from here” he said then wave the waiter over.
” Get us one of your finest wine” he ordered.
” Okay sir” the waiter replied then went away.
” You’re young and beautiful, you need to stay that way for a very long time…..you don’t need to be moody” he said and she smiled.

The waiter returned with their order and they started drinking, Desmond keep cracking jokes and she was laughing.
By the time they finished the drink the girl was starting to get tipsy which Desmond noticed.
” Oopps, my bad……turns out you’re a bit drunk” he said smiling.
” yeah, a little bit” she replied inebriatedly.
” Come, let me take you home” he said and he took her out of the restaurant after settling the bill.
He waved down a taxi and took her inside and followed as well, the driver took off after the girl said her address.
” Thank you so much for today……I really enjoyed myself” she said sluggishly then burped.
” I’m glad you did” Desmond replied.

Not long after the driver pulled right in front the girl’s house and they got down then paid the driver.
” We are at your house, c’mon let’s go” Desmond said as he helped the girl to her house.
” Thank you so so so so muuccch” she said slurring her words.
They got to the house and Desmond knocked twice then a while later an old woman came out and was surprised.
” Heyy, Nana”
” OhmyGod, what happened to her?” She asked as they helped her into the house.
” She was drunk at the restaurant……I think she was sad and heartbroken…..I think it’s a boy situation” Desmond said.
” Oh this girl, I told her that boy is a badluck but she wouldn’t listen” she said.
” Are you her mother?” He asked.
” No, I’m her nanny ……her mother died few years ago and her father is not always around” she replied.
” Her father will be angry if he realized this happened to her” she added.
” Here, take her bag…….. I’ll take my leave now” he said giving her the bag.
” Thank you so much for bringing her home….. thank you sir” she said.
” You’re welcome” he replied then went out.

Mike was taken to a room and they tied him to a chair and they left.
A while after he woke up and looked around and realized he’s been tied down and in a dark room.
” Heyyy, I want to see your boss”
” Let me see your boss……let me see that ba$tard” Mike shouted then a while later a someone entered.
” Do you mind shedding some light in here?…. it’s quite dark” Mike said then the light came on and standing before him was a man.
Mike recognized the man to the one his father was talking about, he’s the driver/bodyguard.
It’s means he’s not Peruzad but whoever he’s working for is definitely Peruzad and he can’t wait to find out.
” Thank you but Who are you?” Mike asked authoritatively.
” you agents always think so highly of yourself and think you’re above everyone” he said.
” Why are you doing this? And who is Peruzad?” Mike asked.
” So many questions, I’m sorry I can’t give you the answer you seek” he replied.
” If you’re going to kill me you might as well tell me who is messing with me” Mike said.
” You can’t know and we’ve been given a direct order to kill you, you’re becoming a problem” he said.
” I don’t know how you find me here, and you killed most of my men….. I’m sorry you just have to die” he said pointing his gun at him.
” If you kill me you will have a bigger problem on your hands and trust me, you don’t want to kill me” Mike said.
” And why is that?” He asked.
” Because if you did, someone will for you and trust me he’s a beast and it cost him nothing to kill you all” Mike said.
” You won’t see him coming and he has an urge to kill people like you” he added.
” Tell me, Who is it?” He asked then he was interrupted by a knock on the door then guy who shot a lady earlier entered.
The guy went to him and whispered something in his ear and he looked at Mike then turned back to the guy.
” Bring him here” the man said.
” Yes Boss” the guy replied then he went out and the man smiled which made Mike wondered what he came to tell him.

A while later, Desmond was dragged inside the room and Mike was surprised with his mouth wide open.
” Is this the man you’re talking about?” He said pointing at Desmond who was unconscious.
” How did you find him?” Mike asked.
” My men caught him sneaking around and they knocked him out”
” Who is he anyway?……we received order to kill him already…..turns out the boys failed” he said.
” Answer me…….who is he?” He asked then Mike started laughing.
” What’s so funny?” He asked but he continue laughing.
” I’m sorry, I’m just trying to understand what you said……you mean you caught him sneaking around?”
” You’re wrong, you didn’t catch him……he let you…..you just brought in death but if you tell me who you’re working for I can prevent him from Killing you all” Mike said.
” We will see about that” the man said then he went out then Mike turned towards his father.
” Dad, are you awake?” He said kicking his leg then Desmond woke up and groan.
” Uhh, ughh……there you are, where are we?” Desmond asked.
” Still at the factory, probably one of the office……..what are you doing dad?” Mike asked.
” Whatt, I was looking for you then one of them got me from behind” Desmond replied.
” And you expect me to believe that?….I know you can take them out if you want, so why do this” Mike said.
” Nah, I’m too old for all that…..I can’t stress myself… I’m doing this old fashion” Desmond replied.
” And why are you tied down?” He added.
” I also have a plan, I’m about to know who Peruzad is” Mike said.
” He won’t tell you?” Desmond replied.
” You don’t know that,… he’s about before you interrupted us” Mike said.
” Trust me son, he won’t you a thing… but don’t worry we will know who that person is very soon”
” Because I have a plan” Desmond said.
” Of course you…….you always do” Mike said.
” Where did you go dad?” Mike asked.
” Don’t worry, you will know soon enough” he replied smiling then they started hearing footsteps.
” they are coming back, what does your plan says we do?” Mike asked and Desmond grinned.
” Nothing, we do nothing” he replied and Mike turned to him.
” Are you kidding me?” Mike asked.
” We do nothing…. I’ll handle this” he replied then the man entered along with his men.
” You two made a mistake coming here and I’ll give you the privilege of dying together” he said then pointed the gun at Mike.
” You pull that trigger, you might as well be Killing your own daughter” Desmond and the man stopped.
” What are you talking about?” The man asked.
” I said if you kill him you might as well be Killing your own daughter” Desmond repeated.
” What does killing him has to do with my daughter?” He asked.
” You’re asking the wrong question man” Desmond said.
” Hold on, how do you know about my daughter?” He asked then Desmond grinned widely.
” You see, that is the right questions….. you’re smart after all” Desmond said.
” Answer my question” the man shouted.
” Few minutes ago, I met this gorgeously looking girl at a restaurant, you two share a resemblance”
” She’s a great kid actually, I sat with her and started talking about things….most especially relationships” Desmond replied.
” That’s a lie, she would never talk to a stranger not to talk of sitting with you” he said.
” She did talk to me and we sat together for quite some time infact when she was drunk I took her home myself” Desmond narrated.
” I don’t believe you……so you took her home that means she’s safe” he said.
” Oh no she’s not, she’s in grave danger” Desmond said smiling.
” Dad, what did you do?” Mike asked.
” I don’t believe you…… you’re lying” the man said then pulled out his phone and dialled home.
? ” Hello Maria” he said immediately the person picked.
? ” Good afternoon sir” the nanny replied.
? ” Where’s loveth?” He asked.
? ” She’s at home….. she’s in her room” she replied then the man turned to Desmond angrily.
? ” Is she okay?” He asked again.
? ” Yes Sir, but she’s sleeping” she said then he put the call on hold.
” You liar” he said then made to punch him.
” Am I?……or maybe you should check on her to be sure” Desmond said then he went back to the call.
? ” Maria, did anyone dropped her home?” He asked.
? ” Y-yess” she answered reluctantly.
? ” What!, And when did you plan to tell me that?” He asked angrily.
? ” I’m so sorry sir, she was drunk and I don’t want you to get angry with her but a nice man dropped her off” she said.
? ” Go to her room right now and check on her” he shouted angrily.
? ” Yes Sir” she replied then he wait.
” If anything happens to my daughter…… I’ll kill both of you” he threatened.
” Good luck with that” Desmond replied smiling.
” Dad, what’s your plan here?” He asked.
” Not much of a plan but they will untie us very soon” Desmond replied.
? ” Ohmygod, Ohmygod” the man heard from the phone.
? ” What happened?……what happen Maria?” He asked.
? ” Sir, she’s not feeling good…..her body temperature has risen so much…..I don’t know what’s wrong with her” she said then he went back to Desmond and pointed the gun at him.
” What did you do to her?” He asked.
” Don’t you think it’s time you stop pointing this at us…….that won’t save your daughter” Desmond replied.
” How about I just kill your son as well” he said then aimed the gun at Mike.
” Go ahead, then we will know how much you truly love your daughter and how you’re the cause of her death” Desmond said.
” What did you do to her?” He asked.
” While we were having a drink at the restaurant, I slipped in something into her drink” Desmond said.
” What?” He asked.
” Trimethylmercury 32″ Desmond said.
” What!….. Dad” Mike shouted.
” What what wh…..hold on, what is mety..what is Mercury?….what the fk is that?” The man shouted.
” It’s a deadly poison” Mike answered.
” What!”
” Yeah, it’s a very slow deadly Poison” Desmond replied grinning evilly.
