Mike went out of the confinement after questioning the chief and decided to go check it his story checked out.
The deputy chief also came to meet him to see what he knows, Mike saw him coming and knew what he’s going to say.
” How did it go?” The deputy chief asked.
” What do you mean?…… didn’t you hear everything?” Mike asked feigning ignorance.
” No we didn’t, somehow we couldn’t hear anything you were saying in there” The deputy chief said.
” Oh, well…..the battle is not over yet” Mike replied.
” What do you mean?” He asked.
” Turns out he’s not Peruzad…… he’s only working for him” Mike replied.
” What!……you mean he’s not the one?”
” No Sir”
” Who the hell is this guy?…….what exactly is his motives?” The deputy chief said angrily.
” I wish I knew Sir”
” For him to have someone as powerful as the chief wrapped around his fingers…….whoever he is….”
” He is rich and powerful and he’s planning one dangerous scheme” Mike added.
” what do we do now?” The deputy chief asked.
” I don’t know, I have no lead even the chief has no clue who this man is, right now I don’t know what to do” Mike said.
” Look son, I don’t like the way things are heading and I hate seeing people close to me dead”
” I’ve been thinking maybe you need to change perspective, you’re too deep in this ” he said.
“……. and seeing all those agents dead hurt me deeply, I don’t want to lose you too” he added.
” What are you proposing sir?” Mike asked.
” You know Silver City?” He asked.
” Yeah, what about it?” Mike replied.
” For some months now, some group of teens have been terrorising the City, they called themselves the HOLLY-HOOD” the deputy chief informed.
” Holly…what?” Mike asked.
” Hood” he answered.
” Hood?…..as in neighborhood?” Mike asked again.
” No, Hood as in Robinhood” he replied.
” Thieves?”
” Yes, and they are masterclass, top notch, experts, professionals, because they leave no trace after operations”
” Silver City are requesting for our help…. actually they specifically asked for your” he replied.
” Is it an order sir?” Mike asked.
” No, it’s not…… it’s a request” he answered.
” Well Sir, as interesting as that sounds…. I’m going to have to reject, as long as this Peruzad is around I can’t take on any other mission” Mike said.
” Whatever you say Son, I’ll report back to them……just make sure you do what you have to do to get that ba$tard” he said.
” I definitely will, and Sir….you should be at the hospital……your leg won’t heal miraculously” Mike said.
” When I heard you locked the chief up….I had to come down here to see what’s going on” he replied.
” Well, looks like he’s going to be there much longer……..I need to go sir, there are some things I need to take care of” Mike said.
” Okay, please be careful” he said.
” I will” Mike replied then he went out.

Mike went out of the agency and entered his car drove off.
While he was driving he decided to park and make some findings concerning what the chief told him.
He brought out his laptop and He first made research about the name he gave him “Gracie Daniels”
The report came back and Mike realised the chief was telling the truth, his daughter was indeed killed five years ago.
According to the report by the Media it was stated as an accident but the driver was never caught.
‘ so Peruzad has been around since five years ago?, He has been running his operation since then?’
‘ why come out now?….. except it’s time to carry it out”
Mike made more research on General Alfred and all his data and information came out on the screen.
He’s a tall man, he’s married with three children and he seems happy.
Mike decided to dig deep on him and found out he’s a twin, he has a twin brother who also died five years ago.
Mike assumed it must be Peruzad’s handwork, he’s attacking these people through their families.
He found the General’s home address but decided to pick a line from his father’s book by tracing his phone.
He traced his cellphone and got his location which is not his house, he ignited the engine and drove off.

He drove for forty-five minutes before he got to his location and he realized it’s an abandoned factory.
He came out of the car and get his guns loaded then went into the factory.
As he was moving he saw two men holding guns then he move stealthily behind and shot them rendering them unconscious.
He moved around the factory looking for the General but his men keep showing up which keep taking down.
As he was moving trying to be silent as possible but one of the men saw him and fire at him.
He was able to dodge on time then fire back at him but the sound was loud enough to alert the others.
They all keep coming out and Mike tried his best to take down as much as he could then he saw the general.
He went after him as he was running away with few men with him then Mike shoot them down.
The General tried to punch him but he caught his hand then punch him hard on the face which sprout out blood.
” Where is he?” Mike asked.
” You can’t find him” he replied then he punched him again.
” Tell me where is now” Mike asked again and he started laughing.
” I wish I don’t have to do this but you give me no choice” Mike replied then he pulled out his da.gger and $tab his palm.
“Aaaaaaaaaaaa” he screamed in pain.
” When you’re ready to talk, lemme know” Mike said then thrust the knife under his armpit.
” Aaaaaaahhhhh, JUST KILL ME ALREADY” he screamed.
” Nah, where’s the fun in that?…… Just tell me where he is and all this will be over” Mike said then $tab him again.
” Uuhhhhhhh, I don’t know where he is…… No body knows” he shouted in pain.
” Yeah, I’ve heard that lots of time but I think you must know something” Mike replied then was about to $tab him again.
” Wait, wait,…..I don’t know where he is but I think there’s something you might want to Know” he said and Mike stopped.
” I’m all ears, for your sake I hope it’s useful, go ahead” Mike said.
” Have you heard from your father?” He asked and Mike furrowed his brow.
” How do you know about my father?” Mike asked.
” I think you should be more worried about him because Peruzad gave us a new mission” he said.
” What did you do?” Mike asked.
” Peruzad asked me to send some men after him to tail him back to your family, he wants them all dead”
” I already arranged some men waiting for him at the airport in Lagos as we speak……you can still help him”

Desmond arrived at home and entered the house and Jeffery his youngest son run to hug him.
” Daddy is back” he shouted as he went to hug him.
” Hey little soldier, how are you?” Desmond said.
” Fine dad”
” Hope you didn’t cause any trouble in school?” Desmond asked.
” You told me not to and I didn’t” he replied.
” Good boy” Desmond said then went to the parlor where the rest are sitting.
” Welcome back Dad” Goodness and Mercy greeted.
” Hey girls”
” How is Michael?…..he can’t even call me, did he hate me that much?” Goodness said.
” Oh c’mon, your brother has a lot on his plate right now…..give him a break” Desmond replied.
” Yeah right” she replied sarcastically.
” where’s your mother?” He asked and just then their mother came out and was surprised to see him.
” Heyy, you’re back already?…..I thought you said you will stay for a week or two” Jane said.
” You won’t believe what your son did, he sent me out of his house ” Desmond said and they burst out laughing.
” It’s not funny, I’m serious here…… what stories have you been telling him?” Desmond asked.
“Nothing, why would he sent you out in the place?…..the brother I knew won’t do that” Goodness asked.
” Oh dear, you don’t have to ask that……I think we already know” Jane said smiling.
” Lemme guess Dad, you entered the city, you found some really bad men and you showed them the road to hell, right?” Mercy insinuated.
” Exactly, how is that a bad thing?” Desmond asked.
” Seriously? Dad…..you haven’t spent 48 hours in that place and you already committed a murder” Goodness said in surprise.
” they are bad people, it’s not like they are that much….I think it’s 10 or 15″ Desmond said.
” 15 PEOPLE!!” They all shouted in surprise.
” What?” Desmond said.
” Dad, that’s mass murder ” Goodness shouted.
” Have you forgotten the part where I said they are bad people?” Desmond replied.
” 10 bad people in one day?……are they that much?” Jane asked.
” There are lot of bad men in that city infact it could’ve been more but your son sent me packing” Desmond replied.
” Wow, I wish I was there, it’s been so long since I’ve been in action, I think I’m getting stiff” Jane replied.
” Seriously Mom, you too?” Goodness said surprised as her mother’s words.
” C’mon baby, I’m not old….. I’m still young and I still have some fight in me” she replied her.
” Don’t worry, You’ll have your chance very soon now” Desmond said.
” You keep saying and I told you it’s been a while I’ve been on action, you keep having all the fun” she replied.
” Listen to my voice, I mean real soon” Desmond said and she furrowed her brow confusedly.
” What do you mean?” She asked just then the warning alarm in the house blare out.
” Intruder, we have some unwanted guest” Mercy announced.
” Dad, do you know anything about this?” Goodness asked.
” While I was coming home, I saw some fish tailing me from the airport so I decided to let come” Desmond replied.
” Seriously?……you mean we are going to have a guest?….you lead them here?” Goodness asked.
” Yeah, I didn’t see snacks on the road to bring home, so I brought them so we could all enjoy them together” Desmond said.
” Yaaayyyyy” Mercy and Jeff said in jubilation.
” That’s not so bad….. it’s a nice gift especially for me” Jane said.
” No Dad, you and Mom can take care of them, I and these two are not taking part” Goodness said.
” Oh please sister, speak for yourself……because I’m also having fun” Mercy said.
” Me too” Jeff added.
” I’m serious Dad, they aren’t taking part” she said again then Desmond rolled his eyes.
” Fine, sorry guys,…..I think you have to listen to your big sis on this” Desmond said.
” What?, You can’t be serious Dad…. I’m old enough to make my own decisions” Mercy said.
” Don’t worry dear, you will have your chance……. just let your father and I take care of this” Jane said.
” Noooo”
” You can watch from the camera….it will be quite a show” Desmond said then they both went out.
“Arrggg…….why do you have to be the eldest?”
” You’re just like Mike, trying to be the good girl, innocent boy…. you two are the same….so boring” she said as she went to the system.
” Perhaps if you get yourself a job you won’t be looking for trouble, they keep sacking you wherever you go before you are trouble” Goodness replied.
” So just because you’re a lawyer now you think you have the power to control anyone?”
” Just do everyone a favor and get married, you’re making this house too boring” Mercy replied.

Desmond and his wife went to their storage and pressed a button which bring out their ammunition.
” Ohh, I missed these lovelies” Jane said picking a rifle and cocking it and Desmond did the same.
” How many are they anyways?” She asked.
” I don’t know, and I don’t care” he replied and when they are done he turned to her.
” So tell me Agent Mackerel, how do you want your fish?…. gutted and smoked, cooked or fried” he asked and she smiled.
” All of the above”
