Mike drove his father to the airport and when they arrived at the airport he helped him with his bag as they went into the lobby.
” You successfully drove me out of your house and out of the city soon” Desmond said.
” Dad, you’re becoming an headache for me and right now I don’t need one, I need you to leave” Mike said.
” Fine, I’m leaving, I’ll be out of your air very soon……..your city is boring anyways, I don’t know why I came here in the first place” Desmond replied.
” I’ll be happy if you do that” Mike replied.
” You know very well, this is not over……right?” Desmond said.
” And if you’re the son that I raised you will also know that man you arrested is not Peruzad” he added.
” How do you know?” Mike asked.
” Oh please, I’ve been doing this long before you’re born, and I know you also know he’s not the Peruzad” Desmond said.
” I know Dad……but I need to get him on my own Dad, it’s one of the reason I didn’t stay near you guys” Mike replied.
” You will, but remember people like the man you locked up don’t deserve Mercy or second chance” Desmond said.
” I like to do things my way Dad, different from yours” Mike replied.
” Seriously?, I still can’t believe you let go of the guy that was going to kill us, I mean you just leave him like that?”
” Who does that?” Desmond said.
” I have a plan Dad” Mike said.
” You know what this Peruzad might actually be someone you knew or someone you spare his life”
” And now, he’s coming back for revenge, do you really want to know the reason why I’m still alive till now?” Desmond said.
” It’s because I don’t give my enemies a reason to come back for revenge, I made sure I wiped the slate clean so I don’t regret having any stain on my body”
” Remember my quote ” If you continually pardon a recurrent provoker, your mercy will become less, and less till you become merciless”
” I really hope you don’t learn this the hard way” Desmond said.
” Do you really believe that?”
” This peruzad might actually be someone I already pardon?” Mike asked.
” Nah, I don’t think so, this is too deep and I don’t think so…… whoever this is…… he’s smart”
” Which is why you have to be a beast sometimes” Desmond added.
” What do you think I should do?” Mike asked.
” As of now you’re in a tight spot, Peruzad could be anyone around you, could be someone you know”
” You need to single yourself out and count everyone as a suspect, and I mean everyone, Because right your enemy could be anyone” he advised.
” Thanks Dad” Mike replied.
” Yeah, that’s what father’s do, which is why I left you a present in the house……I think you might need it” Desmond added.
” What is that?” Mike asked.
” My bulletproof vest” Desmond replied.
” Seriously?, Your bulletproof vest?………..I thought you don’t part ways with it” Mike said.
” Yeah, I don’t….but right now, I think you might need it the most…..you need to be prepared for the unexpected” Desmond said.
” I don’t need it Dad, remember I have something better than your bulletproof vest” Mike said.
” Your serum…… yeah, I’ll admit that thing is great actually but you won’t always be with your serum”
” Remember you told me it wears off, it’s not permanent” Desmond added.
” Yeah, but it’s still better than your vest, and your vest doesn’t protect your head” Mike said.
” Yeah, on that part…..you will have to avoid getting shot in the head, I thought you better than that” Desmond said.
” Dad, I d…….”
” Take your own advice and wear it……..at this moment anything is possible” Desmond snapped.
” Fine, can you go now?” He said.
” One more thing, I have one more present for you” Desmond said then dipped his hand into his bag and bring out a watch.
” A watch” Mike muttered.
” Yeah, well customized just like my own, everyone in the family has one, so this is yours” he said and gave it to him.
” Thanks Dad” Mike replied collecting it.
” Put it on” Desmond urged.
” I’ll do that when I get home”
” Now!” He said authoritatively and Mike nodded in frustration then strap it on his wrist.
” Happy Now?” He said.
” One minute” Desmond replied then pressed a button on the watch which cause Mike to a short scream.
” Ahh”
” What did you do?” He asked.
” Calm down, it’s nothing…….I just sync the watch to your body to perform some special quality” Desmond said.
” What qualities?” Mike asked as he’s now relieved.
” The watch is embedded a tracker and also show your body signature, which let us know your position ”
” Also it keeps your pulse and heart active for an hour, so whenever you’re in danger which could cause your heart to stop”
” The watch keeps your heart active for an hour and after an hour if you receive no help…..then you die” Desmond explained.
” And this watch could do everything you mentioned?” Mike asked.
” Yeah, My friend made it……. remember Steven?” Mike asked.
” Yeah I do…….is that all? Or do you have anymore surprise for me?” Mike asked and he chuckled.
” That will be all, but remember………I think the battle has just started…… don’t get caught up in it” Desmond said.
” Thanks Dad” he said.
” Let me go back to my house and to my wife…… there’s nothing to do here” Desmond said then took his bag and turned to leave.
” Dad” Mike called and he turned.
” You’re the best” Mike said and he smiled.
” I know son, but don’t tell your mother…… she might get jealous” Desmond replied then left.
After Desmond left, Mike entered his car and drove off.

” Why don’t you tell us who he is then we will know how we can help you” Mike asked the chief’s bodyguard.
” I can’t tell you…….. he will kill my daughter” he said.
” Tell us who he is then I promise you…..your daughter will be safe” Desmond assured.
” C’mon tell us…..you can trust us to get this bastard” Mike said to him.
” He’s the director General…… chief Rex Daniel” he said reluctantly.
” Hold on, That’s the chief……. that’s my boss” Mike said.
” You mean your boss at the agency?” Desmond asked.
” You’re lying…..tell me it’s a lie” Mike said grabbing at his neck.
” I’m not, that’s the truth…….why would I lie?…. He’s the one I’m Working for” the man said convincingly.
” OhmyGod, So it’s chief all along?…..but why?” Mike asked.
” Seriously?….. you’re still looking for why?” Desmond said then turned to the man.
” What’s his plan?……what does he intend to do?…..what is his aim?” Desmond asked.
” I don’t know, I don’t get to ask any questions only to carry out orders” he replied.
” I can’t believe this” Mike said surprised.
” You better do” Desmond replied.
” What was the main order he gave you apart of having us killed?” Desmond asked.
” The last one was weeks ago, he told me to send some men to the senator’s house for a device” he said.
” What device?” Desmond asked.
” I heard about that…..so he was actually the one behind that?” Mike said.
” What kind of device is it?….. what does it do?” Desmond asked.
” I don’t know but all I know was that it was dangerous and there are two of them” Mike answered.
” Where is the other one?” Mike asked.
” That was the first one we secured at the forest and we brought it to the agency which……. oh God” Mike muttered.
” Which means he has both the device in his possession?” Desmond completed then turned to the man.
” The device, what does it do?” He asked.
” I don’t know, I told you I don’t get to ask questions only carry out orders” the man replied.
” What was his next plan?” Desmond asked.
” I don’t know, only him knows” he replied.
” Where is he now?” Desmond asked again.
” I don’t know but he told me to meet him at the New Moon cemetery this afternoon” he replied.
” Cemetery?…..what for?” Desmond asked.
” I think I know, it’s a burial for the Agents that were killed at the agency, which he orchestrated”
” I can’t believe this man has been around all these while…… plotting this evil deeds and acting all innocent” Mike said hurtfully.
” Thank you for your honesty, I really appreciate that and I’m assuring that your daughter will be fine”
” You have my word on that but I’m sorry you have to die” Desmond said pointing gun at him.
” Drop the gun Dad” Mike said pointing his gun at him.
” Hahaha, Seriously?…..you’re a pointing a gun at your own father, have you gone crazy?” Desmond said.
” drop the gun Dad, you’re not Killing him” Mike said.
” You will shoot me because of him” he said.
” You always told me to be in control of every situation and this is my mission and I’m playing it my way”
” And right Now, I’m saying you’re not Killing him” Mike said.
” He’s a bad man, he has to die…… people like this don’t deserve Mercy, he’s better off dead” Desmond said.
” He might be guilty but he’s not as bad as you think……he made a mistake fine, everyone does that” Mike said.
” That’s what makes us human” he added.
” Sorry son, I just don’t give bad people second chance” Desmond said.
Desmond made to shoot him but Mike was quick enough then shoot him on his head and he fell down.
The bodyguard was shocked with his eyes bulged out.
” You just shot your own father?…..what kind of crazy man are you?” He said in shock.
” Calm done, he’s not dead……but trust me when he wakes up……he will kill you” Mike replied.
” I’m your only chance here and I promise you no harm will come to you but you need to do something for me” Mike said.
” What do you want?” He asked.
” I need you to work for me” Mike said.
” Are you kidding me?, Work for you?……Just kill me already” the man said.
” Well you might have your chance, if this man wake up, and I’m certain he will reunite you with your wife”
” I’m giving you a chance here to live a better life, I’m giving you a chance to be a father to your daughter”
” I’m giving you a chance for your daughter not to completely become an orphan because of you stupidity”
” This unknown man killed your wife and if you don’t act up, he will kill your daughter as well…….the decision is yours” Mike said and the man started contemplating.
” What do you want me to do?” He asked.
” The chief is not the Peruzad, I know that for sure…… he’s not the man I’m looking for though he might be working for him”
” I think I’ve got myself in middle of all this, and right now I don’t know how to get this guy because he’s just too smart” Mike said.
” What exactly do you want from me?” The man asked.
” I need you to help me find this peruzad and make him pay for everything he has done, and also……”
” I need you to watch my back and inform me if you heard anything about Peruzad or his whereabouts” Mike said.
” This is dangerous…… I’ll be putting my family in danger” the man said.
” I Know it is dangerous, but I need you to do this, and to proof to you that I’m serious…” Mike said then cut off the rope binding him.
” You’re letting me go?” He asked.
” Yeah, get your family to safety and when they are safe report back to me,….. I’m asking for your help here” Mike said.
” How can you trust me with this?” He asked.
” I don’t, but I hope you make the right decision……… You can go” Mike said then the man turned and left.
