I spent the weekend with my mom so i and Jasper didn’t get to hang out much,My mom wanted to catch up on some girl time.
We went shopping and to several amazing restaurants,it was fun hanging out with my mom.
“Mom, You have never really told me about dad,How he’s like,i don’t even remember how he looks like which is so weird”
“You don’t remember because you were so little and i really don’t like talking about him,it makes me sad”
“Oh..Okay but I wish he was alive so that i could spend time with him”
“Forget about that.. let’s talk about Jasper, He’s so handsome” I rolled my eyes at the way my mom was behaving like a teenager.
“You like him, don’t you?”
“No,mom,I don’t,am not even ready for a relationship”
“Have you talked to Austin?”
“He has been trying to talk to me,He said he regrets everything he did”
“And do you believe him?” I sighed deeply
“I don’t know what to believe,Mom, Austin is my first love,he is the first guy i ever loved with my whole heart and i gave my diginity to him”
“Mariana,just because he’s your first love doesn’t mean you will end up with him”
“Austin and i had good times together,we did almost everything together and when he broke up with me,i almost died of heartbreak”

“Alice, Aren’t you going to talk to me?” I asked Alice as I walked over to her locker, She has been ignoring me since I kssed Jasper.
“What are you aiming at, Mariana?”
“I..i don’t understand”
“I thought you were smart and you are not like the other girls”
“Alice,if you have a problem with me,then just say it to my face”
“I thought you said you weren’t going to fall for my brother so why did you kss him?”
“Because i wanted to make Austin jealous, that’s all”
“It didn’t look like it, You two kssed with p@ssion, He’s deceiving you, Mariana, Open your eyes”
“Why are you always saying bad stuffs about your brother,i know he’s a player but you make it sound like he murdered someone”
“Well,Ask him what he did,Jasper is totally different from what he is trying to be.
Mariana,he is going to suck all the good things away from you and leave you empty,just the same way he did with…You know what, nevermind”
“No,tell me, Everyone is keeping secrets from me,What did Jasper do?”
Alice was about to say something whena random person rushed over to us.
“Alice,Mari, You two need to come quick”
“Why? What’s wrong?”
“Brandon and Jasper are fighting in the school garden” Alice and i rushed out.
A crowd was formed in front of school garden,In the middle Brandon and Jasper were punching each other while Chase tried to separate them.
Alice kept calling Jasper’s name but he didn’t listen,he kept punching Brandon.
“He’s going to kill him” Someone said beside me.
I got closer to where they were fighting to get a clearer view.
“Jasper!!” I called out and he stopped and looked at me.
“Let him go” He slowly stood up from Brandon,Chase and Alice ran to help Brandon.
“WHAT’S YOUR PROBLEM, YOU ALMOST KILLED HIM, YOU M0N$T£R!” Alice yelled at her brother.
Jasper only stared at me,We just stared at each other while Alice and Chase tried to get Brandon up.
“What happened,Jasper?” I asked slowly.
“I couldn’t control my anger,he keeps pissing me off”
“Just tell her..the truth, Jasper,Tell her what you did to Sandra”
“Who’s Sandra?” Jasper held my hands and started dragging me away.
“Let’s go,Mari.. Don’t listen to them”
“Mariana,you need to know the truth then after that, You can decide if you want to still believe if Jasper is a good person” Brandon said to me,i turned to look at Jasper.
“Please,Mari, Let’s go” He begged,i nodded slowly and walked away from them.

Jasper and i are currently in his kitchen,he wanted to go home so i followed,he was cleaning his knuckles.
We didn’t say anything to each other till this minute.
“Do you want anything? Like a drink or something?” He asked breaking the slience.
“No, thanks”
“Thanks for following me,i really needed someone by my side”
“Who’s Sandra and what did you do to her?” He looked away from me.
“I don’t want to talk about it”
“Jasper,If you really want us to keep being whatever we are, then you have to talk”
“Why? So that you can judge me the way my friends and my own sister judges me”
“Am not going to judge you”
“Yeah,right..I know you are just dying to scold me for beating up that dkhead called Brandon”
“Don’t call him that and you are supposed to apologise for beating him up, He’s your friend”
“He was my friend,ever since he started acting like a savior to you,He wants you to see me as a bad person”
“He just cares about me”
“No, he’s in love with you” He looked away from me and focused on his injured knuckles.
“That can’t be possible, Brandon doesn’t like me”
“He says he doesn’t but i know he does,I see the way he looks at you, He’s not happy with the fact that you choose me to be your pretend boyfriend”
“Then i need to have a talk with him” Jasper scoffed.
“Have fun with that” He stood up to leave the kitchen but i stopped him.
“Jasper, You and i are not done talking,We still have a pending issue to talk about”
“I know but for now, let’s not talk about it” He kssed my forehead and walked away from the kitchen
I was about following him when my phone vibrated.
*Please,Mari,We need to talk* – That was a text from Austin.

I arrived at the estate’s central park, Austin was sitting down on a bench,the wind kept blowing his hair from his face.
There’s no doubt that Austin is so handsome,back in highschool,every girl wanted him.
“Hey” I sat beside him,he turned to face me,he smiled at me while i just looked away.
“Start talking”
“First of,i heard about the fight between your boyfriend and Brandon”
“Austin,did you seriously call me here to talk about Jasper?”
“Does he hurt you physically?”
“No,why would you think that? Why does everyone think that?”
“Jasper has a thing for not being able to control his anger”
“Well,he doesn’t hit me”
“Mari,the reason why i called you here is because i want us to get back together”
“Am dating Jasper”
“I know that and i know you don’t love him the way you love me,We had something real”
“Yeah,that you threw away for some desperate sl*t”
“I just got caught up in the college lifestyle,i thought i could find someone better than you but that wasn’t possible.
I still love you,Mari,I have always loved you”
