“I overreacted? Did you just say i overreacted,Alice?
I saw a female’s fking earring in your brother’s room and not just any female, It’s that fluzzy called Kara”
After i left Jasper’s house,I called Alice and Alexis to my house.
“Am not saying that you overreacted,Am just saying you could have relaxed a little”
“I told Jasper that i don’t trust Kara,As my boyfriend,he is supposed to stay away from her but he didn’t.
I can’t count how many i have avoided just to make Jasper happy”
“Mari,You and Jasper have a wonderful relationship,You two understand each other so well and it’s sad to see you like this” Alexis said,i ran my hands through my hair.
“I just hate her,I hate Kara and it’s so sad to know that Jasper doesn’t see what i see.
He literally kicked me out of his room”
“So what did you do?”
“I smashed his phone on the wall, then walked out,I hate him honestly”
“Nooo, You love him so much”
“I know and it kills me”

“Dude, Where’s Mariana?” Chase and Brandon walked over to my locker.
“Honestly,I don’t know”
“What do you mean you don’t know,by this time, You two are already kssing and acting all fl!rty”
“We got into a fight”
“You two always fight and you reconcile in less than a minute”
“No,this one was different,it was serious”
“How serious?”
“I kicked her out of my room” Chase and Brandon gasps in shock.
“You what?”
“I got really annoyed by her behavior”
“What did you two fight about?”
“Kara, Mariana thinks Kara’s trying to seduce me”
“Well, She’s not far from the truth,That Kara girl is weird,She wants you,bro”
“Well,Mari is supposed to trust me,She saw Kara’s earring in my room and flipped”
“Any girl would flip, What’s her earring doing in your room?”
“I guess it fell off when she came into my room”
“It couldn’t have just fallen off”
“Well, Even if Kara dropped it there to cause problems between i and Mariana,I think Mariana should at least trust me”
“Nonetheless,You need to reconcile with her,you can’t an outsider break you two up”
“I know but she needs to miss me a little,I’ll talk to her tonight”
Brandon wanted to say something but was interrupted by a student who came running towards us
“Am sorry to interrupt but Mariana and Kara are hitting each other in the school garden”
“What?” Brandon,Chase and i ran over tobthe school garden,a huge crowd gathered, I pushed through the crowd.
Mariana was on top Kara giving her several punches.
“Mari,Stop it,Stop hitting her” I tried to carry her but she pushed me.
“Stop it”
I finally carried her off Kara’s bl.eeding body.
“Let me go,I need to teach this sl*t a big lesson”
“That’s enough,You almost killed her”
She faced me with so much anger in her eyes.
“And why do you care? I thought you were tired of me”
“You know i can never get tired of you, Mariana you need to calm down”
“No,i don’t want to,You should leave me the hell alone,i don’t need or want you anymore”
She tried to turn away from me but i held her hands.
“We both know that’s not true,I need you to come back to your senses,babe”
“Leave me alone, Jasper.. You have made it clear to me that you prefer a random btch to me,So leave me alone and let me go back to teaching that idi0t a lesson”
Kara was still unconscious, Mariana must have hit her hard.
“No,I won’t let you”
“LET ME GO” Before I knew it,She slapped me really hard,A loud gasp was heard from the crowd.
Mariana used her hand to cover her mouth,She looked remorseful,She tried to touch me but i moved away.
“Jasper,am..
“Don’t say it, Mariana.. Don’t say anything,I think we need a break from each other” I walked away from her.

Few Hours Later.

After what happened between i and Jasper,the Dean of our university called for me and i was reprimanded.
Kara was taken to the hospital,She was going to be okay.
I went home early,My mom was already waiting, I guess she knew what happened.
“Mariana Williams,What the hell happened?” She said so sternly,I crouched down to the ground and started crying.
“Don’t you dare cry because you caused all this for yourself,You did this to yourself..You beat a student almost to the point of death and now you have been given one month suspension from college,all because of what?.. Something so irrelevant”
“Am sorry,Mom..am…
“No, Don’t say sorry to me,You should feel sorry for yourself,You are definitely not the Mariana that came from Chicago.
I know i said you should fight for who you love but not like this,You almost killed her, Imagine what would happen if you did”
“I know and i deserve everything am getting, I just don’t want you to be angry at me, Please not you”
My mom sighed in defeat,then came over to hug me,I cried in her arms until i fell asleep.

A Week Later.
It’s been long since I have felt tgis feeling of loneliness,Infact i don’t think I have felt loneliness, I have always been happy.
Now,i just feel miserable,I haven’t been to school in a week,My mom is still trying to talk to the Dean of my school to let me back in.
Jasper doesn’t call me and he hasn’t tried to see me, He was really serious about this break thing, it’s my fault.
I miss him so bad, Everytime my phone rings,i think it’s him but am disappointed.
“Honey,You can’t stay in your room all day”
“Mom,I want to.. There’s no need to go out and look pretty when Jasper hates me”
“He doesn’t hate you”
“He does because if he doesn’t,He would have been here a week ago, Anytime we fight,He always comes back to me in less than a hour”
“Then since you are at fault here,Why don’t you run to him?”
“Run to him?”
“Yeah and don’t let your ego speak for you”
“I do have a big ego but I’ll do it, Anything for Jasper,Mom i miss him so much”
“He misses you too,Now get into the shower and look pretty” I jumped down from my bed and hugged my mom
“Thanks,mom..You are the best”
After three hours of getting ready,I was finally good to go,I kssed my mom goodbye, then headed straight to Jasper’s house.
I hope he forgives me,I got to his house but it was awfully quiet,Alice and Jasper’s mom wasn’t around.
Maybe i should come back later, I turned to leave but i heard voices.
It was coming from Jasper’s room, Maybe he was around,I took the stairs to his room.
“I need you to leave now,i don’t want my sister or my mom seeing you here,leave now” I heard Jasper say, the door was closed.
“But last night was amazing,You drove me crazy,You have such great stamina” I know that voice,I just hope it’s not who am thinking.
“Get dressed and leave and don’t even say anything that happened between us to anybody”
I opened the door and what i saw gave me the greatest shock of my life.
Kara was completely n@ked standing in front of Jasper,He only had his b0xer on.
“Mari? What..what are you doing here?” I was completely speechless,All i wanted was to get out of there.
