Jasmine’s pov ?
Silence!
I stood silently by the window, my arms folded on my chest as I stared out the window.
My heart is breaking, I could feel it ripping apart slowly when I recalled the scene back at Thanatos office.
Jade was riding my boyfriend…I wish this was a dream, but I know it’s not a dream… it’s harsh reality.
Jade fked my man!
“Baby, I’m sorry, I swear it wasn’t my….”
“Was that a revenge?” I cut him off in a gruffly.
Hearing his voice alone is increasing the anger in me, it’s as if I should just go away from him…I don’t wanna hear him talk.
“A revenge?” Thanatos asked himself.
My back is facing him, so I really can’t read his expression but I could feel he’s frowning.
“You left the house in a grudge…”
I trailed off and rubbed my forehead gently.
“… you were angry that I called Arthur darling…is that why you choose to revenge me in this way?”
My eyes welled up, that annoying scene kept replaying in my head. It’s making me mad at myself for not murdering Jade.
“It’s not a revenge.. I never thought of revenging you… ”
“Then how do you expect me to interpret what happened?”
He held my shoulders and turned me to face him, but I shrugged his hands off and turned away from him.
I don’t wanna see his face, I might just break down.
“I swear, baby, I didn’t touch her, please try to understand… ”
This statement infuriated me, I turned to face him with a very harsh glare and narrowed my eyes at him.
“Try to understand? Understand what? Your explanation?”
He kept quiet, he’s avoiding my gaze…I don’t know if it’s because he’s feeling guilty or ashamed.
“I saw my sister riding my boyfriend.. what do you want me to understand about that? Huh?”
He remained silent, I hit his chest and pushed him back… He staggered slightly and would have fell if he hasn’t held himself.
“How did that even happened? What were you doing? Answer me, don’t just keep quiet!” I snarled at him.
He stepped forward and tried to hold my waist, but I stepped back and slapped him across the face.
“Don’t touch me, speak with your mouth!”
He shut his eyes and rubbed his cheek, he opened his eyes and stared in mine…
“Why did you let this happen? Do you know the consequences of what happened today?” My voice broke as I speak.
I blinked my eyes, I felt the tears I’ve been trying to hold back, running down my cheeks like a flowing stream.
I looked at him in the eyeballs.
“She could be pregnant with your baby already, my son will be his cousin’s brother.. does that make any sense to you?!”
Thanatos remained silent, he’s just staring at me speechlessly.
“How could you let such a thing happened?! Why aren’t you saying anything?! Why are you keeping quiet?!” I yelled.
He’s not even making any attempt to defend himself.. did he enjoy Jade’s hole?
“Baby, you haven’t given me a chance to say anything” he said.
I grinded my teeth against each other, I moved away from the window and headed straight to a sofa.. I sat down.
He came towards me, he sat on the sofa next to me and simply stared at me without saying anything.
“Well, start talking?!” I snarled at him.
He nodded quickly and cleared his throat, then began..
“I was in my office, when Elvis came… ”

Mike’s kitchen (Thanatos_office)
“… McMahon’s assistant is on her way right now, Mr O’Briens” June said.
“Alright, handle the robots issue and give me a feedback!”
“Yes, sir” June replied.
I ended the call and pushed my laptop aside.
My eyes landed on the heap of paperwork and a groan left my mouth.. when am I gonna be done with all these? I had wondered.
I reached for one of the files and glanced through it, I wanted to push it aside.. but decided to do some work until McMahon’s assistant arrives.
Just when I was about to start, I heard a knock.
“Come in” I said.. I knew it’s Elvis knocking.
The door opened and he walked in, he greeted me with a bow which I returned with a curt nod.
“Mr O’Briens, McMahon’s assistant is here” he said.
I raised my head and found out he’s giving me a nasty look, as though he’s glaring at me.. I frowned.
“How audacious!” I banged on the table.
His head quickly bowed, his eyes stared at the floor or his toes.
“You’re glaring at me…are you tired of working here?!”
He shook his head.
“No, I’m sorry, Mr O’Briens”
“Get out!” I growled.
“Yes, sir” he said and rushed towards the door.
As if he remembered something, he stopped and faced me.. he cleared his throat quietly.
“What about McMahon’s assistant?” He asked.
“Let her in” I answered.
He nodded and rushed out as if his pants on fire.
I put the file away and adjusted my suit, I leaned back on my chair and waited for McMahon’s assistant.
A few moments later, the door pushed open dragging my attention to it, only to find out it’s…
Jasmine’s sister?!
My eyebrows furrowed instantly in confusion, how did she ended up being McMahon’s assistant?
“Hello, Thana” she said.
“What are you doing here? Who let you in?” I asked her gruffly.
She stared at me briefly and laughed, she started walking towards me se ductively.. with a fllrtatious smile on.
Last time I met with McMahon at his company, his assistant wasn’t a female… what’s going on?
“Are you McMahon’s assistant?” I voiced out my thought.
“Of course”
No..not possible, something is wrong somewhere.
Dad wouldn’t let Jade work, everything she needs is made available in the mansion.
I locked gaze with her and she giggled, then winked at me.
“We haven’t seen for long, are you surprised?”
She stopped in front of me, she leaned down and shoved her chest in my face.
“Thana… Do you miss me?”
Then it clicked.. this must be a set up! I pushed her away from me, she fell and landed on her bum… I quickly got up.
“Get out of my office!” I snarled at her.
She got up and dust her hands, she took steps towards me but I stopped her.
“Come on, Thana, take a look at me”
“You…” I swallowed my words and my eyes grew wide, when I saw what she’s doing.
Her jacket fell off her shoulders, exposing her bare shoulders and clea.vage…I quickly looked away from her.
“What are you doing?! Get out now or I’ll make the security team bounce you out shamefully!” I balled my fist.
“Take a look at me, I’m your wife, you shouldn’t shy away from me”
“You’re not my wife, you’re my sister-in-law.. leave now that I’m still respecting you as my sister-in-law!”
She came in front of me, I looked at the wall behind her.
“Sister-in-law? But I’m the one you’re married to…”
“Yes, Henry did married you in my name, but you should understand that I don’t and will never love you… I’m in love with your sister and we even have a son together!”
She scoffed.
“In love with my sister? Then what’s gonna happen to me? What about me?”
I didn’t say anything, I just want her to leave or I might do something I’d regret later… I don’t want to hurt her or Jasmine might blame me.
“Five years.. five good years, that’s how long I waited for you.. now you’re telling me you’re in love with my sister?”
I frowned and moved away from her, I walked towards the big glass window and stared out.
“Jade, I didn’t know you before, it’s not my fault that you waited for me.. that’s your mistake it has nothing to do with me…”
“Why? Am I not good enough? Is Jasmine more beautiful than me?”
Jasmine’s face appeared before me, when she said that and I smiled to myself.
“Yes, Jasmine’s more beautiful.. the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen” I said.
Then there’s a brief silence, before she speak again.
“I don’t care about Jasmine, I don’t care if you both had something together.. ”
She paused, making me wonder what she’s about to say.
“…but now I’m your wife, that’s a fact you can’t deny, I’m your legal wife.. end things with Jasmine and be with me”
I faced her and glared at her.
“Stop your wishful thinking.. leave!” I growled and pushed her.
She staggered back and almost lost her balance, but quickly held herself.
“Have you forgotten Mr McMahon’s condition so soon?” She asked.
Condition? What condition?
“Wether you’ll work together depends on your performance” she smirked.
Hmm.. now I understand what he meant, he wants me to f**k Jade. But why? What’s his connection with Jade?
Before her I knew it, she’s standing in front of me and way too closer to me..
She reached out to touch my face, but I caught her hand and frowned.
“End things with Jasmine and be with me, I promise I’ll make sure McMahon work with you”
I narrowed my eyes. What a disgusting human being!
I let go of her hand and landed a resounding slap on her face, the sound echoed in the office.. I pushed her and she fell to the ground.
“What a shameless sister you are! Thinking of convicting your younger sister’s possession!”
She glared at me, then got up slowly and rushed to her bag.
“Leave now, or I’ll forget you’re Jasmine’s sister!”
“I’m not gonna leave, not until you give me what I want” she said.
My eyes narrowed more, I felt rushing over to her and strangle her to death.. but I can’t, she’s Jasmine’s sister after all.
Now wanting to commit a murder, I rushed to my table and pressed the intercom button..
“Hello, Mr O’Briens” one of the security men answered.
“Come to my office right now and….”
I didn’t get to finish my words, I felt a stink on my neck, I tensed and I slowly turned around.. Jade’s smirking at me.
“What did you do?!”
“You refused to give me what I want consciously.. you left me no choice but to take it while you’re unconscious”
My vision started burring, I grabbed whatever she stabbed on my neck and pulled it out.
“You… ”
And I fell…

Back to present time!
“… baby, I swear, I don’t know what happened afterwards.. I only woke up and saw you” I explained.
She raised her hand and I braced myself, waiting for her to slap me.. bug she dropped her hand and balled her fist.
Her teary eyes stared at mine, my heart broke at the sight..it hurts me a lot as her tears are wasted on me.
Even though I’m not at fault, I still hurt her.. I mean, it hurts to see someone else fking your beloved.
“Baby, I’m sorry” I apologized, that’s all I can do now.
“Are you trying to say, this was a set up?”
I nodded quickly.
“Yes, I swear, I wouldn’t dare stare at another woman.. you’re all I need, I’m contented with just you”
Jasmine stared at me blankly, I couldn’t read her expression but I know she’s very angry right now.

Jasmine’s pov ?
I’m barely controlling myself, I’m still feeling hurt even after his explanation.. and I don’t understand why.
It’s true, this must be a set up.
“I have sent Peter to look into it, baby, I…”
“Enough” I cut him off.
My head suddenly felt heavy as a sudden headache attacked me, I held my head in my hands and closed my eyes.
I must have cried or shouted too much, I sucked in some hair.
“I don’t wanna hear any more explanations.. the conclusion of everything that happened is.. ”
I removed my hands from my head and got up, I wiped my tears.
“Just pray Jade doesn’t end up getting pregnant, if she does.. ”
I trailed off and locked gaze with him, I stared at him for a good moment.
“… Davis and I will disappear from your life!”
He stood up abruptly and shook his head frantically.
“Baby, no, we… ”
“We’ll go far, far, very far away from you and I promise you’ll never find us!”
“It hasn’t gotten to that, baby… ”
I toned him off and headed for my room, just a few steps away from my room.. I suddenly felt dizzy and lost my balance.
But before I could fall to the ground, Thanatos rushed forward and caught me… He stared at me worriedly.
“Are you ok?” He asked.
I straightened up and pushed him away from me, I held the wall to support myself.
“Stay away from me, I don’t wanna see you!” I snapped at him.
“Baby, it’s… ”
I cut him off with a glare. I waited a few moments, until I’m feeling a little bit ok.. then stepped into my room and shut the door in a bang.
Maybe I used too much strength beating up Jade, because I’m suddenly feeling kinda weak.
I guess I should take a quick cold bath, I’ll be alright afterwards.

Thanatos pov ?
I sighed deeply when Jasmine slammed her door, I leaned against the wall and ran my fingers through my hair.
This is fked up.
Now Jasmine wouldn’t forgive me, she thinks I’m trying to revenge her.
This is a shitty game, but well planned.
Whoever planned this game should wait for me, they wouldn’t like what I’ll do you them.
My phone started vibrating in my pocket, I reached for it and answered it without checking the caller.
“Yes?”
“Mr O’Briens, I’ve got the information” Peter said.
I smirked.
“Bring it to my apartment!”
“Yes, sir” I hanged up and shoved the phone back in my pocket.
Let’s go see what Peter found out!
