Aurora’s POV
No!! No!!! Why did she have to go??!!
Why are all these happening to us??
I just wanna wake up from this horrible nightmare.
How can my best friend and only confidant just go like that? Is life that cruel??
Mum!!!
I cried as I upturned everything in my room.
“Aurora stop! Open the door,Shawn and Timmy’s voice rang out from outside my room.
“Leave me alone, life su¢ks!!” I screamed in tears as I pushed my bookshelf to the floor,it fell noisily and books littered the floor.
I sat down weeping as my whole body shook vigorously.
“Mum” I whined sniffing hard. “I love you mum,why did you have to go?? Who took you away from me??” I thought sadly.

Peniel’s POV
I walked into Aurora’s front yard,I looked around and smiled.
She hasn’t been in school for a week now,of course,due to the death of her mum.
I rang the doorbell severally but no one came to answer so I pushed the door open.
Sitting on a rocking chair was Aurora, holding a picture frame of her mum,I guess.
Her eyes were all puffy and reddish.
“Ora” I called gently.
She turned slowly and was surprised to see me.
“P… Peniel? H.. how did you know where I live,did Elsa………”
“She didn’t!” I said cutting her short. “I’m so sorry about the death of your mum” I consoled as fresh tears came pouring down her face.
A week later
Aurora’s POV
Spending time with Peniel had really eased the pain I was feeling. But when ever I’m alone,I cry myself to stupor.
I feel more for Shawn,he has been a shadow of himself since mum’s Demise.
No doubt,we both loved her dearly.

Shawn’s POV
I had to rush home from school coz I wasn’t feeling too well.
I’ve been a ghost of myself since mum died. I mean why did she have to go? We just love Dad!
Her death was indeed a big blow to us,we never expected it.
I got down from my car as I entered the house. I was expecting mum to welcome me with her;
“Shawn! You’re home,lunch is ready!”
But I guess that ain’t gonna happen. I sighed loudly as I walked further into the house.
The door to my room opened on it’s on accord but I brushed it aside thinking I was hallucinating until I saw someone in an overall black hoodie sitting on my bed,backing me.
I grew cold with fear.
“W.. who a..are you?” I stuttered.
The figure in the hoodie began turning slowly towards me but before it could face me fully,I fell to the ground and passed out…
