CHAPYER 33
MONICA’S POV
I opened the door and was shocked “Teddy? Are you okay? What’s wrong with you?” I asked as I held his shoulder and raised him up.
He’s really crying, he hugged me tightly and ran his hand through my hair.
He sniffed “I’m sorry, please don’t leave me.”
“I’m not leaving you, I promise, stop crying.” I said.
He kssed my forehead and put his jaw on my head because I’m short.
Why is Teddy crying like this? This is not the first time we argued during our relationship.
He disengaged and wiped his tears off with his sweet smile and kssed me unexpectedly.
“Mommy! Daddy!” Gigi ran in excitedly and Teddy grinned happily as he carried Gigi.
Gigi might not be his daughter but he treats her like one, that’s why she’s calling him daddy.
*Few minutes later*
I freshened up wearing casual clothes and went down stairs to the kitchen.
Teddy took Gigi to school and followed his dad to work. I decided to take a day off and hang with Kayla and Evelyn.
I met Kayla cooking and I smiled “Good morning Kayla.”
She allows me to call her by her name.
She smiled “Morning sweetie, how was your night?”
“Splendid.” I said proudly and went laughed as I joined her in cooking.
“I’m so happy, we’re finally having girl’s day today.” Kayla said as she’s mixing dough in the pink bowl.
“I know right?” I scoffed as I was cutting potatoes on the chopping board.
“So, I heard some quarrels from your bedroom, what happened?” Kayla asked and my face heated up with embarrassment.
I smiled as I shook my head “Nothing much.” I said while cutting the Irish potato “We’re just talking about…
Who’s gonna take Gigi to school today and since I want girls time, I suggested he should take Gigi to school but he didn’t want to. He said that he need to rest.” I lied.
She nodded “Boys are the worst.” She said believing it.
I scoffed “Yeah.”
“So guess what Monica?” Kayla asked.
I finished cutting the potatoes, glanced at her “What?”
“The Griffins decided that maybe you and Teddy should live in the house alone and get married in few months.” Kayla suggested.
My eyes went wide “What?!”
“Yeah, since we see that you’re pretty nice and amazing and my son has not been happy since the past five years, but since he met you, you changed his life. You two deserve each other.” She said.
“But he doesn’t look changed.” I muttered.
“Trust me, you have no idea what he has been through since the past 5 years.
Since that very day, he began to smoke, drink, he comes home late, drunk or high. He gets angry easily.
He didn’t want to talk to anyone, we kept asking him why is he doing this.” Kayla sniffed bitterly “But when he saw you. He changed all of a sudden, he became happy again.”
I felt bad for Teddy, now I’m guilty for treating Teddy badly, I don’t know he went through this, maybe there’s a reason he didn’t want to sleep with me. But I totally understand.
I smiled to Kayla “I’ll stay with Teddy.” I agreed and she hugged me.
“Thank you so much.” Kayla sniffed.

KAYLA’S POV
Thank God Monica agreed, I don’t know her but she totally changed my son.
All what I said is truth and there’s more pain Teddy has caused to his life. I just couldn’t bear to see my son in pain.

*FEW HOURS LATER*
TEDDY’S POV
I was driving my Bentley car, coming back from the hospital, for therapy for my trauma.
After dropping Gigi of from school, I went straight to the hospital.
Anytime Monica is mad at me, I lose it, become emotional or angry for no reason.
I know I’ll have to tell Monica that’s why I’m taking therapy so that I should be ready for the consequences.
A text came in on my phone, I checked it. Justin?

JUSTIN’S POV
I was sitting at a booth in Magic Paradise restaurant, waiting for Teddy.
Teddy approached me “I’m here, what did you want?”
I scoffed “Please Sit, I need to have a word with you.”
Teddy sighed with hesitant as he seated “What did you want?” he asked.
“Let’s order something first.” I suggested.
“I’m not hungry.” Teddy said.
I scoffed “Come on, you need to celebrate, especially now that you have your Monica and Gigi all by yourself thanks to Mia’s idea.”
“Why did you call me here?” He asked.
I sighed “I want you to maltreat Monica for some stvpid excuse.”
Teddy scoffed “No way, don’t even call me or else, I’mma fk you up.” He said.
I sighed “Then I guess I’m gonna tell Monica that you raped her and bye bye babe and Gigi.”
