“What did you just say”i said moving back
“You heard me right melanie,dont make me come get you “he said walking towards me
“I….i…i”somehow i couldnt find my voice
He walked close to me,closing me into the wall,starring down at me
“So wont you do as i say”
“I dont do such things your highness”i said feeling my chest beating fast
“Then you shouldnt say such things,if you had said that to some other prince,then he might have taken advantage of you”he said walking to stand by the window
“Relax okay,i wont do a thing,am someone who respects female and i wont let that image be destroyed because am inlove with you”he said
He was really sad and hurt that i rejected him
“Then why make me your personal maid ,it would only cause more problem for us,your a prince,engaged and rich too,what would the likes of you be doing with a girl like me”i said walking to wards him
“You cant tell your heart who to love melanie,for the very first time this heart of mine loved someone,even when sarah was around me,it never behaved this way around her but when i saved you at that hill,i knew you were for me”he said holding my cheek
“You deserve better your highness,am not the right girl for you”i said moving my face out of his palms
“As far as we are both concerned ,you are the prince and am your personal maid,lets just keep it like that please”i said begging him
“You know your the first girl i know who is rejecting the love of a prince”he said
“A love which wouldnt give us peace and peace is what my mom and i need right now”i said
“Your sacrificing everything for your mom”he said
“Am not,it just cant be between us”i said
“Am not accepting that Melanie,am not,one thing i was brought up with was never to give up and that wont start with you “he said
“Fine then,do whatever you want,you just wont listen”i said angrily
“When it comes to getting you,then i will do whatever i want”
“You know what ,i quit,i quit for tonight,your personal maid have some assignment to do,now excuse me your highness”
“Why not bring it here,i can study with you”he said
“Am sorry sir but your maid is entittled to some right of hers and that is to study alone”i said and walked off angrily
I could hear his laughter coming from behind me
I walked off feeling so angry and excited
Angry because he wouldn’t let me be and excited because he keeps on chasing me
It shows how much he likes me and him liking me is a real thing but we just cant be,he is from another world and am from mine
I was heading to my room when suddenly i was summoned by the king royal escourt
Though i didnt know why they were calling for me
I went with him and he took me to the king chamber,where i found my mom sitted
I bowed on walking in and with a little word,i was told to rise up
“You must be surprised that i called you here”he said starring at my mom and me
Could it be that he found out about alex and i and now i will be fired for it
I cant let that happen,mom would be so devastated
“I heard that my son has chose you as his personal maid”he said and i nodded
“And you know that as his personal maid,your to do everything he says and your to always be with him”
“Yes your Majesty ,that is my work as his maid ”
“Am glad that you know that ,so then have decided to enrol you in his school”he said
“To enrol me?”i said breathlessly
Attending shine high school would be like seeing the president
Anyone who goes to that school must be very rich
Have only heard of the school but have never seen or attended it before
And now because i would be his maid,i will be attending such a big school
“Yes to enrol,all the money is payed by me already ,so dont worry,all you have to do is to attend the school “he said
“Yes your majesty”i said
“And one more thing,a personal maid never falls for the prince”he said
“And so you musnt fall because it will not be accepted ,either from you or from him”he said
I nodded sadly knowing that he was right
“You wouldnt fail me right “he said starring at me
I knew he was talking about me falling for the prince and if he knew that i was already inlove with him or he was with me then i would have been sent off,better to pretend than to sent out
“Yes your majesty,i wouldnt”i said
“You may leave now”he said and we bowed one more time before we left
“Oh my child,you are so lucky,now you will be attending one of those big schools”she said
“Yes i will”i said not really excited but worried
Worried that i will fail the king by falling madly more for his son
“You musnt fail the king okay,he is the only key to you getting a good life of your own,so dont fail him okay”my mom said giving me a hug
I must do the right thing and that is not to get close to alex,i must stop loving him and that is a must
