Annabel hurried up and cooked for everyone before heading to Adams house. She took a cab and dropped at the gate.
She was allowed to enter and knocked the door
Adams opened the door
“Hello Secretary”
“Good morning Mr.Adams”
“You know that you’re 10 minutes late right?”He said looking at his wrist watch
“I was stuck in a traffic jam”
“Wrong answer”
“What do you mean?”
“You were supposed to apologize to your boss”
Annabel sighed
“I’m sorry sir. Now can we go?”
“I haven’t eaten yet”
“I thought you have maids”
“You’re my Secretary and I’m ordering you to cook for me”
“What!!!”She exclaimed
“Adams,it’s too early to look for trouble”Richard said
Adams rolled his eyes
“You have no manners at all Adams. You couldn’t even let her in”
“Richard you’re back”She hugged him
Adams felt a ping of jealousy hit him
“If you two are done with your lovey dovey,remind me to puke okay?” Adams said
Annabel pulled away from the hug and blushed
“I’ll come by at the office later”Richard said and Annabel smiled
“No one wants you there”Adams said
“I’m coming anyway”Richard smiled and went upstairs
Adams looked at Annabel
“My suitcase is over there. Go get it and let’s go”He pointed to a black suitcase in front of her
Annabel picked it up and opened the door for him to go out
He stood up and adjusted his suit before heading out.

Charlotte entered the house and met Bella watching TV
“I’m back”
“Good morning Charlotte”Bella said
“Morning”
“So you killed him”
“Yes. That son of a bch should dine with the devil for the rest of his life” She removed her boot
“Charlotte,don’t you think you went too far”
“Too far? Bella you know me too well that I have zero tolerance for unfaithful people. He used me”
“Cause you were desperate and that made you vulnerable”
“I am not vulnerable and now I’m taking my hatred for Annabel to the next level”
Bella became scared
“Hope it isn’t what I’m thinking?”
“It is”
“Charlotte,you can’t kill her”
“Watch me”
Charlotte entered her room while Bella face palmed

ADAMS BUILDING AND DESIGN COMPANY
They finally arrived at the office before 7am
Some employees were already there
Annabel took the elevator that leads to Adams office and dropped his suitcase there
She thought her desk would be outside his office in the reception so she decided to step out but his voice stopped her in her tracks
“Where are you going?”He asked
“To the reception”
“Why?”
“To sit down.isn’t that where my desk is?” She asked aching her brow
“No”He sits on his chair and sways from left to right
“Then where do I stay?”
“Here”
“Here?” She asked
“Yes that’s your desk over there” He pointed to a neatly arranged desk with a laptop on it and some files
Annabel laughed
“You’re joking right?”
“Do I look like I’m joking Annabel?”
“So what you’re trying to say is that I am going to be staying here in same office with you for as long as I work here?”
He nodded
“What!!!”
“You’re my Secretary so your duty is to do my bidding and for that to happen I want you in this office”
“This isn’t fair Adams”
“Correction Mr.Adams. We’re at work now”
“I can’t stay in same office with you”She snapped
“Like it or love it,it’s an order and you can’t say no. Now go over to your table and check my schedule for today”

IN A BAR
Charlotte was in a bar having a drink with a guy
“So Brian,have you considered my offer?”She asked sipping her wine
“I would have done that but Bella is my girlfriend and i don’t wanna cheat on her” Brian said
“Come on Brian. I’m offering you something even Bella hasn’t given to you in years. You can’t turn me down”
Brian looked at Charlotte closely. She was right. Bella never allowed him touch her and they’ve been dating for 3 years now. She insisted they get married first and he wasn’t happy with that.
He was a good looking guy with dark brown hair and cute dimples and a great body.
In addition,he was a playboy. Something he has been hiding from Bella and of which Charlotte has come to know about.
Now she’s asking him to spend a night with her
“Charlotte,what about Adams?” He tried to dissuade her
She chuckled
“Forget about Adams. I want to have all the fun I can before getting married to him”
“What of Bella? She should be home by now”
“No. She’s traveling today for an appointment and I guess she’s already on her way to the airport”
He sighed
She smirked and threw some dollar bill on his body
“Will these change your mind?”
“This is alot of money”He gasped
“So do we have a deal?”
“Yes”
“Good. Meet me at my house 6pm”
She stood up and cat walked out of the bar

6PM
Brian walked into the house and Charlotte led him to her bedroom
Before Bella arrived at the airport,the appointment was postponed and she turned the car around heading back to Charlotte’s house.
She opened the gate and tried opening the door but it was locked
She reached out for her handbag and brought a spare key then opened the door.
After dragging her luggage into the sitting room,she heard a sound coming from upstairs
“Charlotte? Are you here?”
She left the luggage and followed the direction of the sound. She discovered it was coming from Charlotte’s room and she headed that way.
“Charlotte?”
She got to the room door and turned the door knob
When she finally opened the door,what she say made her eyes pop as tears rushed down
“Brian” She called and the activity stopped immediately
Brian looked at Bella in shock while Charlotte’s mouth dropped open
“Bella it’s not what you think” He tried to defend himself
“You…you…and…Charlotte? Oh My God!” She put her hands on her head
“No Bella. It isn’t what it seems” Charlotte said covering her body with a duvet
“How can my best friend and boyfriend betray me like this?” She cried
“I can explain”. Brian tries touching her and she slapped him
“Don’t touch me you imbe¢ile!!! Brian why? Why did you do this to me? I loved you with all my heart why?” She weeped holding her chest
She was hurt…really hurt
Brian walked out in shame leaving her and Charlotte
“Bella I’m sorry”
“Sorry? Can your apology heal my broken heart? Can it? Charlotte why? I’ve always supported you and I’ve been helping you to get Adams back. Little did I know that you were stabbing me in the back”
“Bella it’s not like that”
“I’m leaving your godforsaken house now. I can’t stay under same roof with a betrayal like you”
“No Bella please”
Bella ignored her and went to her room
She packed her stuff in tears and left the house
She booked a hotel and lounged there
“This is unbelievable”She cried as she sits on the couch in her hotel room
“Charlotte,I won’t forgive you and Brian for this. From today onward,I vow to get my revenge and make you pay. Charlotte I’m gonna make you pay for this”
