Mara’s Pov
It’s been a week now, a week since my life turned around, I got a coffee shop so I no longer work for anyone for the first time in my life, I can rest, Anna had been the best friend one could ever wish for.
Danny and Liam had help me alot, I have some good clothes at least am living comfortable without anybody disturbing my life. Jay had been begging and looking for me, but thank goodness he doesn’t know my house but I live in the same neighborhood.
I learnt Mabel had been living with Liam for a while now, well who cares anyway.
Babe get your fking a$$ of yours down here I heard Anna scream from outside.
Coming btch I said trying to piss her off.
Someone is gonna die today I heard her say and I chuckled.
I packed my hair in a bun, wore a blue gean and a white crop top I picked my bag and a shoe to match and walked out of the house.
oh o forgot to tell you guys that no school today because tommorow was Jay’s and Dan’s birthday and it has been the talk of the city for weeks now.
I heard Jay’s parents came back from the Philippines and Jay has a senior bro and junior sis, the fool didn’t tell me and I don’t give a d@mn.
So where are we going to? I asked as I came out.
We are going shopping she said smiling.
But we did that two days ago I said.
Come on girl, enter the d@mn car or don’t you wanna get a gift for Danny she said smiling.
Of course I want to I said and was about entering her car when a car drove in and parked. Mabel and her two friends came out.
Mara are you that stupid, stay away from my boyfriend am warning you Mabel said coming towards me.
And if I don’t? I asked.
You are gonna get hurt she said.
But I thought you broke up with Danny so what’s your fking business about who he wants to go out with? Anna said coming out.
Shut up you brown skin girl. Mabel yelled angrily at her.
But my skin glitters than your destiny Anna said with a smirk on her face.
I almost laughed out, you need to see Mabel face now, but truth be told Anna’s skin was glittering, I admire her sometime.
You gonna pay. Alvira said coming towards me.
Please don’t touch me, I don’t wanna get infected I said moving back.
You are both gonna pay for this Mabel yelled and walked away.
Come on Bea we got things to attend to Anna said and entered her car.
We stopped at a boutique and came out, you need to see the stares people were giving me, well am not surprised, someone captured Danny and I kssing that night and I had been the talk of the city. They called me second Mabel.
So you think you can take Danny away from me. A girl and her friends said blocking my way.
Stop being a p.$$$y and get the h.ell out of my way. I said calmly and I could see the shock on their faces. Lol what were they expecting that am some kind of dull girl, no way.
We entered and we parted ways. I walked towards the necklace area and two necklace together caught my attention, they where sparkling.
I picked them up, am gonna give Jay one and the other to Danny.
Babe come see this gown Anna yelled from the other side.
I quickly rushed down and it was a long gown, it had a cut sideways to the down, the design was stunning it had an open back, it’s just so cute.
Babe it’s gonna look good on yo. Anna said smiling like a baby.
I would try it I said and walked in, I tried the gown and it fitted me perfectly fine.
I stepped out and immediately Anna pretended to have fainted.
It’s specially made for you the attendant said and I smile.
Thanks I said blushing.
Mara is that you or an Angel Anna said standing up.
Get your cr@zy a$$ here I said and she smiled.
You know I like your shape but I love my colour she said. That’s Anna for you she loves her colour more than her life.
Thanks ba, I said. As I pulled off the gown, we carried everything we had shopped for and paid then walked back to her car.

Am so d@mn tired Anna said falling on my bed.
Get out of bed you cr@zy girl I said and she giggled.
Next day
Anna already came back, I already checked the coffee shop, everything was going smoothly.
Today was the d_day, today is the birthday of two special persons in my life.
Anna was applying make-up on my face she said she learnt it.
Mara keep you face down or am gonna bend it for you she said.
Come on Anna am tired I said.
Just a little more and am done she said, but my phone interrupted us, it was Danny.
Miss me already? I said and I could hear him chuckle.
I missed you so much bae he said.
Mabel came over today I said .
Did she hurt you he asked, I could sense the worry in his voice.
Come on, am not a weakling I said and he chuckled.
Say hi to Anna for me I Know she’s there he said.
Ok I would do just that I said and cut the call.
That was cool it seems you guys are in love Anna said.
Keep dreaming I said.
Done, she said and I stood up, thank goodness I already wore my gown, I don’t know if this is me anymore.
Fk you Mara! You killed it. Anna said smiling.
Thanks now you go get dressed I said walking to the living room.
Anna came out moment longer and she was looking hot; she wore a short gown and hwr skin was glittering.
Would you stop eye r@ping me. She said.
Am a girl for goodness sake I yelled.
Let’s go, I got no time arguing with you, she said as we walk towards her car.
The drive to the party was cool, we had the opportunity because students in glamouus were all going and only rich people are gonna be there.
We parked our car and came out, the party was filled. Some people were watching from home.
Immediately we entered, all eyes turned to us, I so much hate attention.
I could hear the crowd gasp. Mabel was shocked, I could see her mouth open while Danny was eye r@ping me.
I felt my leg glue to one particular place.
Would you dance with me? Danny said stretching his hands towards me, I never knew when he got here.
Of course I said and gave my handbag to Anna and we walked off.
